Jessica Simpson Could Use a Hug
Jessica Simpson has been keeping her head held high despite all the recent drama surrounding her figure, but last night the pressure seemed to get to her. She had a hard time performing in Michigan, including stopping in the middle of songs for water and forgetting the lyrics. Jessica also said she wished she could just walk off the stage and apparently was visibly upset at the end of the set — poor Jess.
Beyonce and Jay-Z Turn Up the Heat With Their Charity Work
Beyonce's trip to Miami wasn't all bikini time with her sister; Jay-Z met up with his wife in Florida, and the two separately headlined events this weekend. Beyonce looked glamorous on Saturday night as she was recognized for her philanthropy and inducted into the International Pediatric Hall of Fame at the Miami Children's Hospital Foundation Diamond Ball. The singer had lunch with her man on South Beach Sunday morning before Jay-Z took the stage.
Jay-Z Wears Medals and Talks Babies
Jay-Z tried on one of the only kinds of bling he can't buy — Olympic gold medals — at the 2008 Global Leadership Awards Gala in NYC last night. The three first place medals belonged to swimmer Ryan Lochte who we're so used to seeing without a shirt that the suit makes him hard to recognize. Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones joined the boys on the red carpet.

- Brad Renfro, the former child actor who became famous through his roles in films such as The Client, The Cure, and Tom and Huck, and who just finished shooting The Informers with Winona Ryder, was found dead at his house in LA yesterday morning. He was only 25-years-old. The cause of death isn't known and an autopsy is scheduled for Thursday, though he suffered from a long history of drug abuse and was known to be drinking the night before.

Vince Buys Big in Chicago
Vince is currently working hard in London on his latest movie, Fred Clause, but has a little side project going on back in the states as well. Apparently he just purchased a massive penthouse worth $9 million on Michigan Avenue, and an apartment worth $6 million below for his mom. Rumor is Jen has been there to check on the progress of the work being done to the units.
