Grey's Anatomy star Justin Chambers voluntarily checked into the psych ward at UCLA Medical Center, the same place Britney is being held, on Monday because he suffers from a sleep disorder; he was released on Wednesday. Even though he's familiar with Seattle Grace, being in the real hospital is not pleasant so hopefully he's feeling better already. - TMZ

Sugar Bits - Brad Pitt Donates $100K to Fight Prop 8

Brad Pitt donated $100,000 to help fight California's Proposition 8, which would eliminate same-sex couples' right to marriage. He said in a statement, "no one has the right to deny another their life, even though they disagree with it." - LA Times
Hilary Swank was hospitalized briefly to remove a "small benign growth" and is now recuperating. - People
Jerry Seinfeld's Microsoft ads with Bill Gates have been pulled from the air, although the company is saying it was always the intention to use them only as a teaser. - LA Times
Gisele Bundchen is putting some of her jewelry up for sale at Christie's on Oct. 15 and will donate part of the proceeds to nonprofit organization the Diamond Empowerment Fund. Sources are speculating these are previous gifts from Leonardo DiCaprio. - WWD
Denise Richards' reality show It's Complicated has been renewed for another season and begins filming again soon. - Us Weekly
Gary Coleman was charged with reckless driving and disorderly conduct yesterday after hitting someone with his car when they took photos of him at a bowling alley. - TMZ

First Look at Angelina, Maddox & That Amazing French Estate!

So the photo of Angelina Jolie and Maddox Jolie-Pitt out on their balcony isn't much, but it's our first look at their new life in France. Seriously though, how incredible does that estate look? Obviously Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen does not mess around when it comes to his houses. I'm hoping we'll be seeing a lot more of the whole family while they're abroad - remember last August when we saw Brad/Angelina walking their kids to school every day? Here's to hoping that this summer brings us just as much Jolie-Pitt fun!

Jolie-Pitts Settle Into Lavish French Villa

Just in time to get settled in before Cannes, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and their four kids have relocated to France. The family is staying at Microsoft cofounder Paul Allen's gorgeous villa in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat on the French Riviera - um, must be nice - from now through the film festival, but are still rumored to be looking for a place to buy in the area. Beyond having an amazing view of the Mediterranean, the estate has a staff of 12. In February we reported that Angelina wanted to have her new baby in France in honor of her late mother, Marcheline Bertrand, so it sounds like this stay may be until there are more Jolie-Pitts! Hopefully this means we'll see more family film festival time while they're all abroad.

Ok, so we admit this may be the slightest bit cheesy, but TIME Magazine has named you and me and all of us that spend our days, nights and afternoons creating and sharing content online as Person of the Year. In the spirit of cheesiness, I would just like to say that the community that all of you have built here on PopSugar epitomizes what TIME Magazine has so eloquently described in its upcoming Person of the Year issue. We thank you for making this community what it is today and for allowing me to introduce so many additions to the Sugar Network. Hearing your feedback in comments, blog posts and polls makes it so much fun to report on all of my favorite gossip every day. Here's more:

Car companies are running open design contests. Reuters is carrying blog postings alongside its regular news feed. Microsoft is working overtime to fend off user-created Linux. We're looking at an explosion of productivity and innovation, and it's just getting started, as millions of minds that would otherwise have drowned in obscurity get backhauled into the global intellectual economy.

Martha Dishes Dirty Details to Howard

Martha stopped by Howard Stern last week and completely opened up about all the dirty details in her life. She told the talk show host about her $1200 vibrator that's "a very good tool," talked about dating Mayor Bloomberg, Anthony Hopkins and her latest filthy-rich boyfriend and touched a bit about her time in prison with women. OK Martha... a little TMI. Here's more:

She recalled dating Mayor Bloomberg "years ago" - and confessed she couldn't get past the Hannibal Lecter character while dating "Silence of the Lambs" actor Anthony Hopkins.

"Do you want someone eating your brain while you are sitting in your beautiful dining room in Maine?" she wondered. "I would have probably had a very nice relationship with Anthony Hopkins but I couldn't get past the Lechter thing."

She called her current beau a filthy-rich Microsoft retiree with his own plane and boat. "Those guys have all the toys," she said.

The woman imprisoned for the ImClone insider-trading scandal also said she ran into "girls with mustaches and girls with beards [who] would ask me for lunch" behind bars.

"They also wanted to learn," she added ". . . Everybody in prison has a business plan."

The Davis dynasty is still devastated by Brandon's firecrotch rant that they want him in rehab to help clear their name. He has supposedly checked into Passages which we all know is the Ritz of the rehab world for the rich and the famous - but will it work? - In Touch
Another Stones Setback. Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood has checked into rehab. At least this gives Keith Richards a little more time to recover from brain surgery. - Page Six
American Idol winner Ruben Studdard has won a $2 million dollar lawsuit against his former manager. Good thing since his music career never took off. - People
Vince Vaughn's mom, who was once ranked as one of the top money managers in the country, is in trouble after withdrawing $25 million from her hedge fund and investing it with a fraudulent charity. Fortunately Vince and Jen were able to visit her in Chicago when they were filming The Break-Up - R&M

Nintendo's Revolution
Nintendo has announced they will launch their new gaming console sometime in 2006 and for now its called Revolution. They are a huge step behind Microsoft, who just launched their new 360 console on MTV last week and will be in stores by the end of this year. I'm a loyal fan of Mario and Yoshi so I can't wait!
