Much Ado About NKOTB, Rihanna, and Music Video Awards

The weather was rainy in Toronto last night, but that didn't stop the stars from shining at the MuchMusic Video Awards - check out the winners here. Whitney Port, Brody Jenner, and Kristin Cavallari all left their home in The Hills long enough to check out the show and pose with Chace Crawford and The Spice Girls' Mel C. Rihanna performed in another of her crazy black costumes and she had two shiny trophies to add to her ensemble by the end of the night. The New Kids on the Block took the stage for a solid nine minutes in their matching white suits, undoubtedly feeling the love from their audience of nostalgic, screaming fans.

Taylor, Fergie, Audrina and ManyMore at MuchMusic Awards

The MuchMusic Video Awards hit Toronto last night with a star-studded red carpet and a stage scattered with big performances. Taylor Lautner represented for the New Moon cast, smiling big and waving to the screaming adoring fans. Audrina Patridge sexed it up as usual in her LBD, though somewhere along the line she managed to piss off someone who apparently took Brody Jenner’s phone and called her a nasty name on his twitter. The Black Eyed Peas - who won International Group Video of the Year - the Jonas Brothers and Lady Gaga were among the night's performers.

MuchMusic Honors Some Of Our Favorite Pop Stars

Fergie and Hilary showed off their stems while Avril showed pride for her native country at Canada's MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto this weekend. All three went home with statues, but Avril got very emotional while accepting the Favourite Canadian Artist award saying, "All the fans just voted for me and that really means a lot, so thank you." Avril's husband Derrick Whibley and Maroon 5's Adam Levine were among the few guys who walked the red carpet, along with Tara Reid who cleaned up nice despite having no ties to the music industry that we know of.

Fergie Isn't Too Glamorous For The Black Eyed Peas

Fergie loved her high waisted pants and suspenders that she wore in her Big Girls Don't Cry video so she wore them again when she stopped by TRL yesterday. Life as a solo artist has been treating Fergie well - she snagged a MuchMusic award this weekend for best International Artist and she even won us over as a fan these past few months. Even better is that she hasn't forgotten about her roots with The Black Eyed Peas. Fergie confirmed that the group is planning a reunion, saying, "We don't have an album yet, a Black Eyed Peas album. We haven't had time; everybody's been constantly working, as we always do. But we will have an album. We're not going away."

Vanessa Gets What's Left of Nick

Everyone seems to be watching Nick and Vanessa very closely. US Weekly caught them together in these photos in Toronto. After his performance and where Vanessa was cheering Nick on the twosome were seen getting very cozy. US reports:

The duo later headed to club Mink, where Minnillo danced to Nellyâ€™s â€œHot in Herreâ€? as Lachey sat and watched. After 3 a.m., the pair retired to the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel. The following day, Lachey and Minnillo went to the Courthouse Chamber Lounge, where, a source says, â€œthey were fully making out. Clearly they were both having a good time.â€?

The Scoop reports that Jessica is "devastated" about Nick and Vanessa being together since the girls used to be friends. Apparently Jess confided in Minnillo about her issues with their marriage. Vanessa helped urge Jessica to leave Lachey. Hmmm.....wonder who thought up this story (coughing Pimp Daddy Simpson under my breath)?

CAN'T BUY LOVE Crooner Nick Lachey and MTV veejay Vanessa Minnillo were just paparazzied swapping spit in Mexico, but when they hit the swag suite at Canada's MuchMusic Video Awards, "It was like they didn't even know each other," according to a Lowdown spy who witnessed their weekend visit. "Nick didn't want to come into the gift lounge unless his whole band could shop, too" â€” at $20,000 per swag bag. As for Minnillo, "She was on one side and he was on the other side of the room. At the Glam jewelry station, she said out of nowhere, 'Nick and I have the same birthday'" â€” Nov. 9 â€” "and then she basically said, 'It's either going to be great for us or it's going to be a total disaster.'" Minnillo even picked up some 2xist men's boxer shorts, but claimed they were for her personal use. At Sunday's awards, Lachey performed his breakup hit "What's Left of Me" and attended solo.

How cool was it that he would not go if he could not hook up his whole team. Just another reason to love Nick Lachey!
