Vanity Fair and Gucci hosted a glamorous bash at the Hotel Du Cap during the Cannes Film Festival in France on Satruday. Naomi Watts stepped out for the affair after partying at Calvin Klein's fete on Thursday with Diane Kruger and Jessica Chastain. Jennifer Connelly, in a black Gucci dress, and husband Paul Bettany showed up following a red-carpet appearance for Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted during the day. Alec Baldwin and fiancée Hilaria Thomas joined in on the fun, as did Chris Pine and his girlfriend, Dominique Piek. Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault were back in the spotlight following their own red-carpet run that afternoon, and Ed Westwick made a statement in black tie. Diane and Josh Celebrate CK at Cannes With Isla, Naomi, and More

The stars at Cannes gathered to celebrate euphoria Calvin Klein last night at a bash held just outside the center of town at the opulent Villa St. George. A few of Calvin's ladies were on hand for the Belvedere-sponsored bash. Model Lara Stone, who's in the CK Jeans campaigns, made the rounds with her comedian husband David Walliams, of Little Britain. Diane Kruger fronts the brand's beauty ads and arrived on the arm of boyfriend Joshua Jackson. It's a busy week for Diane, one of the Cannes Film Festival judges. She managed to have a night of fun, though, and caught up with friends like Isla Fisher, Naomi Watts, and Jessica Chastain.

Fellow Australians Isla and Naomi spent a good portion of the night chatting in a corner together. Jessica and Shailene Woodley were among the last to walk the press line before heading up into the house for drinks and snacks. Alec Baldwin arrived on the arm of his fiancée Hilaria Thomas, and they mingled with other funny guys like Chris Rock and David Schwimmer.

Stars came out for the annual Tribeca Ball, honoring Robert De Niro's support of the arts and benefiting the Academy of Art, in NYC last night. Julianna Margulies wore a simple black gown while Kim Catrall went with a bright blue blazer and Solange Knowles mixed things up in a printed look. Naomi Watts wore a sexy strapless Stella McCartney dress to pose on the arm of Liev Schreiber. They recently returned to the Big Apple after a trip to Barbados with their sons Sasha and Kai. Naomi wore a swimsuit and Liev went shirtless to show PDA in the ocean when they weren't hanging out with their boys during the getaway.

The picture also required that Naomi show off her swimsuit figure, as she and a bikini-clad Robin Wright shot waterside scenes with their leading men Xavier Samuel and James Frecheville. Yesterday, though, Naomi only had eyes for long-term love Liev. Naomi and Liev showed a lot of PDA as they kissed in the water. They broke from the PDA to splash around with Sasha and Kai before calling it a day and heading back to their resort.

The Watts-Schreibers split most of their time between LA and NYC, but also pay plenty of visits to Naomi's native country of Australia. In fact, she was Down Under for much of February filming a new movie. She costars in the upcoming drama The Grandmothers with Robin Wright. Naomi Watts wore a bikini yesterday to work on The Grandmothers at Seal Beach in Australia. She was joined by Robin Wright, who was also decked out in a two-piece. Robin and Naomi have spent the past few weeks shooting the movie with director Anne Fontaine, who's making her first foray into English-language filmmaking. The movie's topic has ruffled some feathers, though. Robin and Naomi's characters end up falling in love with each other's sons. The parts of the younger men are played by Australians Xavier Samuel and James Frecheville. Xavier is well known for having a role in the Twilight series, while James starred in the well-regarded Animal Kingdom. Both guys were shirtless for yesterday's stint before the cameras as well.

Naomi traveled to her native Australia with her family last month. She went to Bronte Beach with partner Liev Schreiber and sons Sasha and Samuel, made an appearance at Centennial Park, and was spotted jogging with Liev earlier this week. Naomi's since switched gears to work and has spent the last few days filming with Robin. The Grandmothers is one of Naomi's many projects, since she also recently signed on to portray Princess Diana, saying, "It is such an honor to be able to play this iconic role."
