TRL had its final moments last night with a show bringing back the biggest stars who ever stopped by the Times Square studio. Beyonce kicked it off with a performance that included the classic "Crazy in Love" but sadly no Jay-Z cameo. Carson Daly returned for the show, as did Diddy, who made the most appearances of any celebrity.

While the red carpet was sunny and colorful in LA last night, the real fun was reserved for the Shrine Auditorium stage at the BET Awards. Some of the best performances of the night were from our young familiar faces like Chris Brown and Rihanna as well as some old favorites like Alicia Keys alongside En Vogue and TLC (minus Left Eye). How cute was it seeing Chris/Rihanna singing along with each other's performances from the audience?

While MTV made the shift to movies here in the US, it was still all about the music at the Video Music Awards over in Japan. Mariah looked more comfortable with a microphone in her hand than her baseball from last week, while Fergie and Ne-Yo took the stage together and went home with trophies for Best Female and Male Video, respectively. While Paris didn't have much to contribute beyond posing on the red carpets with her new BFFs, we have to admit that we're impressed with her globetrotting stamina, making it to both award shows in just two days.

Nickelodeon hosted the 2008 Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday night, and similar to last year, the big stars — like Will Smith — brought their families for a stroll down the orange carpet. Wannabe Award winner Cameron Diaz, America Ferrera and Ashlee Simpson were just a few of the ladies who got girlie in dresses, while Rihanna and Abigail Breslin went more casual in jeans. Check out Fab's coverage of the ladies' looks, as well as their Love it or Hate it polls.

The Hip Hop and fashion worlds collided last night at BET's Rip the Runway 2008 in NYC. Nelly played host, Snoop Dogg took the stage to perform, and Diddy acted as executive producer for the event, which airs on March 4. Diddy has been really branching out from his musical career lately, and he revealed to David Letterman that he's looking to get into more movies after making A Raisin in the Sun.

Saturday night's BET Hip Hop Awards got off to a dramatic start when TI was arrested only hours before he was supposed to perform on stage. He was nabbed by the feds blocks away from the awards where he was supposedly picking up illegal machine guns and silencers he had been brokering a deal to purchase through his bodyguards. Yikes.

NYC's Hammerstein Ballroom was brimming with celebrities last night for VH1's 2007 Hip Hop Honors. Tracy Morgan (who was so the highlight of last night's 30 Rock — "You can be a freaky deaky and do data entry.") hosted the event, which probably is a good reason for it not to air live. He's a tad unpredictable.

Beyonce and Martha Stewart came out last night to help Usher celebrate the launch of his new fragrances, USHER for Men and USHER for Women. While it was clearly a big night for him, Usher was more interested in talking about his baby than about his scents. He even revealed that he and Tameka will be having a boy, saying, "I've found that it is a step-by-step process.

Jay-Z was alive, healthy and in top form hosting an After Fight Party at the opening of TAO Beach in Vegas this week. All his close friends came out to play like Diddy, 50 Cent, Nelly, Will Ferrell and...Helen Mirren?! She held her own against those guys, we're sure.
