Stars Sparkle, Burn and Sing at the American Music Awards

The stars of last night's American Music Awards hit the red carpet before heading inside LA's Nokia Theatre for the main event. Janet Jackson kicked things off with an energetic eight minute performance, and the evening's first award then went to the Black Eyed Peas. The Black Eyed Peas went on to take the stage to do "Boom Boom Pow" with a special Nirvana twist. The show went on with performances from Carrie Underwood and Shakira, as well as from Jay-Z and Alicia Keys with "Empire State of Mind." Unfortunately not everyone stayed on their feet - both Jennifer Lopez and Adam Lambert took tumbles while singing.

There were other memorable performances, from Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and not to mention Whitney Houston's return to the stage before she received the International Award of Excellence. Jennifer Lopez had a beaming Marc Anthony in the crowd as she debuted her new single and showed off those customized Louboutins. Michael Jackson won multiple awards, and his brother Jermaine took the stage to accept the award on behalf of their family. Taylor Swift took home the most statues, though she wasn't there and the upset of the night might have to go to Gloriana who won breakthrough artist - make sure to check out the full list of winners. Kate Hudson joined her Nine costars Fergie and Nicole Kidman, though Kate did have a chance to share a special moment with Alex Rodriguez. The Ladies Heat Things up at MTV's Los Premios Awards

It's been a big week for Latin music, from the PBS Music Special with J. Lo to last night's Los Premios Awards honoring the best music of the genre. The event was hosted by MTV in LA, and the red carpet was full of gorgeous gals, from Alessandra Ambrosio, Ashley Tisdale, and Audrina Patridge to Kelly Osbourne - who do you think was the best dressed?

Nelly Furtado kicked off the show, which also brought out Pete Wentz, Snoop Dogg, Tommy Lee, and Dave Navarro. Selena Gomez was also on hand, looking sweet in her neutral-colored gown. Ashley Tisdale was another of the evening's performers, and Shakira even made an appearance via satellite.

Katy and Russell Steal the Show at Fashion Week

A wavy-haired Katy Perry and Russell Brand hit the Paris Fashion Week runways together yet again yesterday. They sat at the front row for John Galliano's show alongside Dita Von Teese, who then met up with Nelly Furtado at Elie Saab. Afterward, Katy and Russell held hands for a trip to the Pere Lachaise cemetery where Oscar Wilde and Jim Morrison are buried. Today is the last day of Fashion Week in the romantic city but it's given the new couple a chance to show their affection all over town. Eva, Salma and Selena Are ALMA Awards Beauties

Salma Hayek, Eva Longoria and Selena Gomez were three of the gorgeous women dressed in their best for the 2009 ALMA Awards in LA last night. Eva Longoria showed off tons of costume changes as she played host for the third year in a row and this time was joined by George Lopez. Selena Gomez took home a statue for Television Comedy Actress and twittered about her fun night. Salma Hayek, who totally looked like a blast from her past in the headband and short sexy dress, was honored with the Anthony Quinn Award for General Excellence. Salma's BFF Penelope actually won as well but wasn't in the house to accept. The show airs tonight featuring performances from David Archuleta, Nelly Furtado and more.

VMAs Bring Kanye's Drama, New Moon, MJ Love and More!

The MTV VMAs brought its share of drama last night - some amazing performances, a heartfelt Michael Jackson tribute, and a huge moment that had everyone talking - it was a show that will go down in history. Check out all the winners here! The biggest story of the night was Kanye West making a scene when Taylor Swift won Best Female Video, but thankfully it all ended well when Beyonce Knowles sweetly called her up onto the stage to have her moment and he apologized profusely. The night was dedicated to Michael Jackson and kicked off with a touching tribute from Madonna and a performance including his sister Janet. The other big moment came when Kristen Stewart debuted her hot short haircut on stage with Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner to debut another New Moon trailer - watch it here.

Eminem was also a big winner for the night, walking away with a Moonman and participating in some funny sketches with Tracey Morgan. Lady GaGa had countless costume changes and a performance that left her hanging covered in fake blood. We loved seeing Jay-Z finish off the night with Alicia Keys as well as Pink's trapeze act and Beyonce's big group "Single Ladies." Russell Brand's act is familiar after last year and we must admit we were happy to see Adam Brody on stage with Megan Fox to promote Jennifer's Body.

It's All Sparkle and Shine For the Ladies at the 2009 MTV VMAs

Whether they went short or long, the gorgeous girls on the red carpet at last night's VMAs sparkled in metallic hues. Taylor Swift led the glamorous parade in her floor-length gown, while Leighton Meester and Kristin Cavallari looked hot in their silvery dresses - both of them are doing well in Fab's best dressed poll, but who do you think deserves the title? Jennifer Lopez's featured an intricate neck, and the first of Ashley Greene's two looks of the evening had a gold skirt.

Stephanie Pratt stuck with the theme in her rhinestone-encrusted dress, while unintentional twins Pink and Shakira's dresses had a little gold embroidering. A few ladies paved their own ways style-wise - big winner of the evening Beyonce picked a bright red mini, Whitney Port stepped out in a black and white Christopher Kane, and Lauren Conrad picked a similarly simple short frock. The Ladies of the Grammys Got the Blues

The ladies of the music world got all fancied up for the Grammys last night, but we were left feeling a bit disappointed. Rihanna looked cute as part of the blue brigade, which also included Alicia Keys and Nelly Furtado. Fergie stood out in her yellow number but we couldn't take our eyes off of Beyonce, who drew more attention with her new super blond highlights than with her sparkly dress. You guys are liking Carrie's look for the best dressed, but all in all, we were more impressed with our starlets' performances on stage than on the red carpet. What did you think about all of their dresses and hair and makeup?
