Donatella Gets Lindsay and the PYTs to Celebrate Art in NYC

Donatella Versace gathered some friends from the fashion and art worlds in NYC last night for the Whitney Museum Gala. First up was a star-studded dinner, where Taylor Momsen and Mischa Barton mingled with Shakira and Jennifer Hudson. The festivities then moved downstairs for the afterparty, with Lindsay Lohan turning up to make a cameo. We had a quick chat with the newly-minted artistic adviser, who said she was there "for Donatella" - and the duo certainly looked close as they posed for photos. Lindsay said she arrived late for the bash due to her travels, but that she'd be sticking around the city to handle "personal business." LL apparently even opened up later about her rumored hookup with Balthazar Getty, telling Gossip Cop that she'd never do that to Samantha Ronson.

LL managed to avoid any run-ins with Samantha's family as she narrowly avoided Charlotte Ronson. Donatella was truly the woman of the evening as she hung out with Lindsay, Mischa and Shakira and they all checked out a DJ set from Gossip Girl Taylor Momsen.

Sugar Bits - Ghostbusters Reunion Movie in the Works

Paris Has Plenty of Gadget-Themed Parties For Everyone

Last night Paris Hilton rallied the troops to show off the Pink BlackBerry Pearl in NYC. It looks like Valentine's Day came early, as Taylor Momsen (aka Jenny Humphrey), Sophia Bush, and CariDee English got decked out in pink and red for a mini CW reunion. Also in the house was Nina Garcia, who swears by her BlackBerry. Unfortunately, we won't get a chance to see her in action with her favorite gadget tonight since Project Runway is a repeat. Paris also took a time out from posing with gadgets to talk about meeting Nicole and Joel's baby for the first time, saying, "She looks like a miniature version of Nicole and Joel. We had a sleepover on Sunday night at Nicole's mom's house. I was crying when I saw her . . . I am so happy for them."

Anne Hathaway's Fashion Week Fears

Fashion Week's favorite ladies got all dressed up again to see what their favorite designers had to offer. Minka, Mandy, Molly and Ginnifer were among the many fashionistas who checked out Betsey Johnson, Peter Som, Jill Stuart and more. Anne Hathaway looked very comfortable striking a pose, but she did admit that she still gets a little nervous. She said, "There is something that transports me back to seventh grade when I’m at a fashion show. You feel like you’re at the weekend party, and you’re like, ‘Am I wearing everything alright? Did I do my hair right?’ And it’s silly because it’s a lot of fun, and there shouldn’t be any pressure, but there is!”

Anne seems to be doing just fine for herself so far, but we'll be watching for any faux-pas from her during the rest of the week. Fashion Week Starts Off With a Big (Red) Bang

Today is National Red Day, and the runway at NY Fashion Week certainly reflected that. Jenna Fischer and Sara Ramirez were happy to add a modeling gig to their resumes for the good cause, alongside seasoned veteran Heidi Klum at the Heart Truth Red Dress Collection fashion show. Chris Noth looked a little confused over at the Nautica show, but maybe he was just blinded by all the beautiful ladies and designs. Project Runway's Christian was there to check out the fierce looks coming from Perry Ellis before the big PR show next week, which lucky girls Fab and Bella get to go to. Jessica & Tim Make It Work

Jessica Simpson covered up her super toned arms but showed off a sexy back at the party for Tim Gunn's Guide To Style in NY last night. Not my favorite make up look on Jess, but at least she was having a blast inside the party with Natasha Bedingfield (who was Nick's first rumored flame post-Jess, remember? Obviously water under the bridge). The party was populated by some ProjRun alums like Laura Bennett, Austin Scarlett and Season 3 winner Jeffrey Sebelia (yays) out to support their on screen mentor's new project. Check out his new show tonight (plusssss the Season 4 Project Runway designers - eeee!) at 10 on Bravo! I enjoyed the preview episode last night and can't wait to see more.

Last night the stars got cultured at the Whitney Museum American Art Gala in NYC. A beautiful Christina Ricci and Emma Roberts stayed on trend in their dark and stormy dresses while Nick and Mariah were red carpet ready as usual. Becki Newton lightened things up a little in her busy pattern, but from the color palette across the board the darker months have hit Manhattan. Donatella Versace helped throw the party and had some man candy on her arm, the face of her line Patrick Dempsey, for the night. The theme of this year's gala was "Whitney - Past, Present and Future" but seeing the star studded red carpet the art wasn't the only exciting sight last night.

Fashion Week Is Officially Star-Studded and Underway!

New York Fashion Week kicked off today, which means there were plenty of celebs on hand to support the designers. Kate Hudson smiled big with Rachel Zoe at the launch of her new show, while Audrina showed that LC, Whitney, and Heidi aren't the only Hills fashionistas. We watched as Charlize and Stuart got totally mobbed by paparazzi and had the awesome opportunity to chat with Agyness Deyn, as well as the beautiful Lindsay Price - check out our blog over on Elle. Even Diddy came out to show off his style and smile, and this is only the beginning of all the fun. Meet Your New Starlets: The Kids Of Gossip Girl

The up and coming stars of Gossip Girl got together in NYC last night to celebrate their salacious new show about rich Manhattan teens. I'm definitely excited for this one, but what can I say - there's no resisting the Josh Schwartz Effect. Naturally, all the little starlets looked fabulous at their big premiere - especially the girls like Blake Lively (who plays Serena van der Woodsen and is best known for Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants), Leighton Meester (Blair Waldorf) and little Taylor Momsen (who is actually 14 and was Cindy Lou Who in The Grinch - love it). See, I'm learning their names already - who knows, could be the next R-Bils. Speaking of Blake Lively - Buzz had a chance to sit down with the new TV star and talk to her about playing Serena and what it's like to adapt such a well loved book series. Gossip Girl premieres tonight at 9 on the CW - I can't wait, you?

It's All About the Hats at the Kentucky Derby

This Kentucky Derby was full of highs and lows this weekend as the usual slew of celebrities donned their finest hats and preppiest suits to catch the big race. Naturally Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were there and looking ridiculous and even Adrian Grenier cleaned up for the big day - well, kind of. Nick Lachey, his brother Drew and Joey Fatone hosted the after party and didn't look too emotionally scarred by having to see the runner up horse Eight Belles have to be euthanized on the track immediately after breaking both her ankles finishing the race. The crown belonged to Big Brown and despite the sad outcome for the filly, I'm sure there were more than a few mint juleps for everyone.
