Keanu Reeves: Love Him or Avoid His Movies Like the Plague?

Next Friday a film called Street Kings hits theaters nationwide. It stars some great people, like Forest Whitaker, Hugh Laurie, John Corbett and the ever-delicious Common. It also stars Keanu Reeves.

Reeves' presence in a movie is almost a deal breaker for me (though, of course I'm still going to see Street Kings). When I recently voiced this opinion at the office, however, there were a few dissenting voices (though I won't name names). So, I'm curious: what say you about Keanu?

Keanu Reeves is on set of his upcoming movie Night Watch, which apparently (and thankfully) made him shave and shower before shooting commenced. The wardrobe may be a little silly, but Keanu himself is looking great. The cop drama costars Forest Whitaker aaaaaaand Kevin Federline. Yup. Well, I actually assume The Fed has a fairly small role in the film, but it'll be great to see Keanu back on the big screen. Even in goofy silk shirts.

I'm sure everyone can do with a little more cash in their wallets. Here are some great suggestions by Wise Bread for you to make extra money.

Even though I'm self-employed full-time, I'm always looking for new and exciting ways to make more money.

Earlier this year, I wrote a Wise Bread post on websites that can help you earn extra cash. More recently, I came across a blog post on Zaarly titled, "10 Ways to Make Money Without a Job." After reviewing the latter post, I thought it was time to revisit the topic and let you in on a few more ways to get paid.

The ideas that Zaarly presents are perfect for the unemployed or those who just want to pad their pockets a little more. In addition, there are moonlighting jobs that I do that I thought you should know about. I recently learned about a new site called Vayable, which allows people with specialized knowledge and talents, local info, and time on their hands to create experiences that others can purchase. It's basically a touring and activity company without the company. Anyone can join the site and set up an experience. For instance, the Kan Brothers offer motorcycle tours of San Francisco - which include helmet rental, a drink at a local hot spot, and a city map - for two to four people at $75 per person. In New York City, Kim G. is offering a personalized painting lesson for groups of two to six for a flat rate of $300; the experience includes acrylic paints; canvas board and supplies; studio space; wine, cheese, and crackers; and Kim’s undivided attention. Kanye West Shows PDA With Kim and Jay-Z Dances to B's Music at Big Cannes Premiere

Kanye West posed with a Balmain-clad Kim Kardashian at the Belvedere-sponsored premiere of his Cruel Summer in Cannes this evening. Jay-Z and Leonardo DiCaprio's pal Lukas Haas were also on hand for the event, which was Kanye's first at the Cannes Film Festival. Kanye said of the production, "It's actually kind of surreal seeing the film come to fruition right here. I can dream one day that this will be the way that one day people will watch movies. I want to change what entertainment experiences are like."

Kim and Kanye spent the day together in the South of France and stuck by each other's side for tonight's bash as well. We spotted them showing serious PDA and kissing throughout the party. Jay-Z, meanwhile, snacked on sushi and bobbed his head when the DJ played Beyoncé's "Love on Top." Some of Jay-Z's own jams provided the soundtrack for the big night as well.

Robert Pattinson was looking sharp in his tux as he climbed onto a boat awaiting outside the Hotel Du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France, today. His luxurious mode of transportation was taking him to nearby Cannes, where he joined girlfriend Kristen Stewart for her On the Road premiere this afternoon. Robert, of course, has his own movie at the festival. Cosmopolis will debut here on Friday so hopefully Kristen will be able to stick around and repay the red-carpet favor. The Hotel Du Cap is one of the most popular celebrity hotspots to party and stay at near all the festival action, but we'll have to see where Rob and Kristen choose to celebrate their big night.
