Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed Bring Breaking Dawn to NYC With Peter Facinelli

Nikki Reed and Ashley Greene went bold for a Cinema Society screening of Breaking Dawn Part 1 at NYC's Landmark Sunshine Cinema last night. Ashley wore a custom Donna Karan, one of the event's sponsors, to join Nikki and leading man Peter Facinelli. Rocking neon, Nikki was in Michael Kors. There was lots of love for the Twilight stars, and Ashley tweeted afterward, "Grateful to our incredible fans for all the love at the Breaking Dawn premiere . . . and to Donna Karan for my gorgeous dress!" Meanwhile, across the pond in England, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Robert Pattinson were busy with the UK premiere of Breaking Dawn. It's been a big week of press for all the series' stars, and Monday was a special evening since they all got together for the US debut in LA.

At the NYC premiere last night, the two both chose modern cut-out gowns to show off their svelte figures. Nicki opted for a neon Michael Kors Resort dress with cutouts. a thigh-high slit, and a sleeked back hairdo to the complete the look. Ashley showed off her abs in a black and white gown by Donna Karan, finished off a side-parted 'do, red nails, and gorgeous drop earrings. Nikki Reed Brings Her Husband Paul Along to Promote Breaking Dawn in NYC

Nikki Reed took her Breaking Dawn Part 1 promotional tour to NYC this week. Yesterday she stopped by The Late Show With David Letterman and this morning she was up early for an appearance on The Today Show with costars Ashley Greene and Jackson Rathbone. Nikki will continue the press fun with an appearance later today at Barnes and Noble, where she'll sign copies of Seventeen magazine. Nikki brought her husband Paul McDonald along for the East Coast press fun after he joined her at the LA premiere of Breaking Dawn on Monday. Another couple, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, shared sweet moments at the big event and they'll be back in the spotlight this afternoon when they step out for the film's UK premiere.

Breaking Dawn's Nikki Reed Sets Her Sights on Dexter!

Nikki Reed popped up in San Francisco last week to promote Breaking Dawn Part 1 with costars Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, and Charlie Bewley. We chatted with the cast about the upcoming film and the Twilight stars shared their plans for the future as well. Nikki told us she has her sights set on Dexter, though she also opened up about shooting difficult Twilight scenes and the important person in her life who she won't let see the series.

Nikki on why she wishes Twilight could go on: "It's nice knowing you have a job. I'm just being honest. People want to make it more dramatic than it is, it's not like we were on a TV show that got cancelled out of the blue and it's such a big shock. We knew how many books there were going into it and then there was a fourth book that came out later and that was made into two so we've been given a bonus trip. I'm very grateful we made it as far as we did and I'm very positive about the future."

Nikki on difficult Breaking Dawn set conditions: "We shot this battle scene for the second movie in a warehouse that was filled with fake snow, and it was giving everybody eye infections. Also, the wedding is absolutely beautiful but what no one sees is that we were standing in 25 degree weather and it's raining and muddy and you're walking in your beautiful dress."

Nikki on her husband Paul McDonald watching her movies: "I won't let him see the Twilight series. He hasn't seen any of the films. He saw Lords of Dogtown when it was on TV, and he watched Thirteen - I watched it with him."

Nikki on her small screen aspirations: "I would love to be on a TV show. I love True Blood. Right now what I'm fighting for is Dexter. There's no role right now but I'm waiting, I love Dexter so much I can't sleep at night because I'm waiting for Dexter."

Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Jackson Rathbone, and Charlie Bewley popped up in Illinois after an appearance in Georgia on Monday. Peter Facinelli joined his Breaking Dawn costars for the latest stop, which included a performance by Christina Perri. She's just one of many artists featured on the Breaking Dawn Part 1 soundtrack, which is already getting great reviews. The musical guest will be different, but Ashley, Nikki, Jackson, and Charlie will head to San Francisco for more promotions tomorrow.
