Will & Tom's Legendary Promotion Still Going

Tom Cruise and Will Smith continued to bond across the country at the I Am Legend premiere in NYC. This time around Jada joined in on the fun with the rest of the family. Love her in green but she's wowed me more before. I think it's pretty sweet how the Cruises support their friends so much. Between Spice Girls concerts to events like this, Tom and Katie always seem to be by their sides yet somehow they are in dead last on the BFF poll of 2007. My guess is Tom's scary Scientology beliefs have scared many of you off but since his friends have declared he is not recruiting them maybe we should just realize they have Legend - wait for it - ary relationships.

Earth-Tone Wearing Girls Are Breezy at NAACP Awards

Award season rolled on last night in LA at the 38th Annual NAACP Image Awards. The ladies of the night went with fairly similar necklines and earth tones, which happened to complement Vanessa Williams, America Ferrera and Jordin Sparks. Chandra Wilson is loving herself some sequins recently (can you blame her) while Kate Walsh kept it delightfully more understated. Speaking of all these phenomenal women, many of them walked away with statues last night. Both America and Vanessa won acting awards for Ugly Betty while Grey's Anatomy scored for best drama series. Teen Choice Show: Full Of Glitter And (Mostly) PG

How about those Teen Choice Awards? Fun times. Actually, the show was pretty boring, but highlights included the always-hilarious Superbad boys (and really, who hasn't had a conversation about how to pronounce Josh Duhamel's last name?) and the Hilary-Nick-Snoop rap off. Also, Fergie's emotion seemed so cute and genuine when she got choked up accepting her award. Check out the full list of winners here. Did anyone else think it was weird that there was so much bleeped out swearing -- Dane Cook and Avril in particular? Anyway, did any of you have favorite moments? Secretly swoon when Shia or Zac took the stage? Did John Travolta totally skeeve you out, too?

Kanye's Bash

Kanye had a little get together at Avalon. Brit and K-Fed were there along with a long list of others. NY Daily news reports:

Also there were Jessica Simpson (with Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine), Jay-Z, Omarion, Matthew Perry, Bill Maher, Jeremy Piven and Deacon DMC, among others. West goaded the Caucasians in the audience to sing along during "Gold Digger," saying, "This is the only time you white people get to say 'nâ€”.'"

Tom Cruise obviously connected with the Grammy winner. He and Kanye spent a good half hour talking backstage â€” prompting some wags to wonder if the hip-hop star would soon be visiting the Scientology Celebrity Center.

Supposedly Tom has been working his magic on Kanye since he wants to singer to be involved with MI3. You know - Tom knows what the kids like these days - he's totally on top of the trends and Kanye is clearly hot right now. Here are some pics of Tom and Jessica coming and going from Kanye's party.
