The Ladies Heat Things up at MTV's Los Premios Awards

It's been a big week for Latin music, from the PBS Music Special with J. Lo to last night's Los Premios Awards honoring the best music of the genre. The event was hosted by MTV in LA, and the red carpet was full of gorgeous gals, from Alessandra Ambrosio, Ashley Tisdale, and Audrina Patridge to Kelly Osbourne - who do you think was the best dressed?

Nelly Furtado kicked off the show, which also brought out Pete Wentz, Snoop Dogg, Tommy Lee, and Dave Navarro. Selena Gomez was also on hand, looking sweet in her neutral-colored gown. Ashley Tisdale was another of the evening's performers, and Shakira even made an appearance via satellite.

Jennifer Goes From LA Triathlon to NYC Party For Marc!

Straight from a wetsuit into an evening gown! Jennifer Lopez was dressed to the nines and looking refreshed out in New York City last night, throwing husband Marc Anthony a birthday party on the same day she completed her triathlon in Malibu. Looks like the foot injury that made her bail on judging the Project Runway finale really isn't slowing her down any - though there are other rumors as to why she pulled out. Jennifer has long been planning this big 40th b-day bash for her husband, which included a costume change during the night celebrating with their friends including Brooke Shields, Donatella Versace, Kimora Lee Simmons, and more. Hilary Duff Shines, But Doesn't Win at Los Premios

Straight from the set of her movie, Hilary Duff was showing off all sorts of outfits at Los Premios MTV Latin America 2007 last night in Mexico City. She showed off her stems on stage (yowza), but didn't take home any awards at the big show. Instead, Avril Lavigne nabbed two, for Best International Pop Artist and Song of the Year for "Girlfriend." The event was hosted by the always adorable Diego Luna (but sadly, no Gael in sight). The big exciting performance of the night, however, was The Cure, who opened the show and received the first ever Influencia Award. Sounds like a pretty awesome award show, right?

J Lo Wears Her Ring and Democratic Blue For Obama Gala

Jennifer Lopez must have thought her wedding ring matched her dress this time around, because she wore it to the Latino Inaugural Gala in DC last night with Marc Anthony by her side. The couple kissed and cuddled throughout the party, chatting with Shakira and other guests as they continue to show off their happiness and squash the divorce rumors. A few people apparently didn't want these two to attend the party since they never publicly supported Obama during the election, but regardless Marc performed and Jennifer spoke as many Latin stars celebrated our new president's inauguration.
