The Jolie-Pitts Finish Their Galapagos Vacation - See The Whole Family Taking Off!

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and their six kids packed up and boarded a private jet at the end of their Galapagos Islands getaway yesterday. The family spent about a week on the vacation, which came right after Brad and Angelina's exciting announcement that they're going to get married. Angelina removed her engagement ring to take care of some official UN business in Ecuador over the weekend, but the stunning diamond sparkler was back in its place as she and Brad helped their kids off a boat and back onto dry land. Shiloh, Zahara, Maddox, Pax, and twins Knox and Vivienne all tested out their sea legs on the trip to the wildlife-filled islands. While in South America, the Jolie-Pitts hit the beach together as well, though Angelina stuck to dry land and let Brad take on the wetsuit and swimming duties.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie celebrated their engagement news by taking their six kids on vacation in the Galapagos Islands, and over the weekend the whole crew hit the beach together. Brad donned a wetsuit to splash around in the waves with Zahara and Pax while Angelina stuck on dry land in a flowing black dress. Angelina's beach look is a familiar one - it's reminiscent of what she was wearing for the first Brad and Angelina couple pictures in Africa with baby Maddox. On this trip, Angelina fussed with their pink umbrella while the twins Knox and Vivienne played in the sand. Pax also tested out the waters while Shiloh explored. At one point all eight of the Jolie-Pitts climbed back into the raft that brought them to the boat they were using to check out all the islands. Angelina broke from family time to do some UN work on Sunday, but for the most part it was a relaxing adventure for the Jolie-Pitt crew.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are engaged! She debuted the ring - which you can see in detail with our new zoom feature - Wednesday evening while out in LA with husband-to-be Brad Pitt and Pax Jolie-Pitt. The trio checked out a private viewing of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art's Chinese Galleries. Brad's manager confirmed the amazing news saying, "Yes, it's confirmed. It is a promise for the future and their kids are very happy. There’s no date set at this time."

Designer Robert Procop also spoke about the ring, "Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realized over a yearlong collaboration with Robert. He wanted every aspect of it to be perfect, so [I] was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suite Angelina's hand. Brad was always heavily involved, overseeing every aspect of the creative design evolution. The side diamonds are specially cut to encircle her finger. Each diamond is of the highest gem quality." We have a new look at Angelina's ring today, including the art deco, diamond-covered band Brad lovingly designed.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt boarded a private jet yesterday to leave New Orleans. They made the trip along with their six kids, as well as the family dog Jacques. Zahara wore blue braids, a new look, as she boarded. Angelina only spent one day in NOLA, having traveled there Saturday to attend Brad's Make It Right gala following a few days spent in NYC attending the Women in the World summit. Brad was in Louisiana for the last week, though, checking in on Make It Right's architectural efforts and offering pal Ellen DeGeneres a tour of the lower 9th ward. Brad and Ellen teamed up to cohost Saturday's event, which was expected to raise $4 million for Make It Right NOLA. The event was star-studded, with Brad, Ellen, and Angelina joining Sean Penn, Kanye West, Rihanna, and more.

Angelina Jolie was up early this morning to take a stroll around New Orleans's French Quarter with her children. She was hand in hand with Zahara Jolie-Pitt, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, and Pax Jolie-Pitt for the a.m. outing. Pax even danced a bit on their way to a store! Their walk came after Brad and Angelina went to the Make It Right gala at the Hyatt last night along with famous friends like Ellen DeGeneres, Kanye West, and Aziz Ansari. Brad has been in Louisiana for the last week, spending time with Zahara and her siblings Shiloh and Maddox. Angelina, however, started last week in NYC. Angelina Jolie attended Women in the World, a Big Apple summit hosted by Newsweek and The Daily Beast editor Tina Brown. Angelina spoke about the females in her own life while there, commenting that her daughters, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Zahara, teach her the true "strength of women."

The gang picked up bags full of party supplies, likely for Pax and Maddox's sister Zahara's birthday. Pax played with a toy rifle his mom bought inside the shop as well. Zahara Jolie-Pitt turns 7 on Sunday, and we're celebrating by looking back at 25 of her most adorable photos! Angelina, Pax, and Maddox wrapped up their outing with a stop at McDonald's. The whole Jolie-Pitt clan will mark Z's big day in California. Brad will be part of the fun, despite his dealing with a recent leg injury that requires the use of a cane.

Brad Pitt took the wheel of his new Ural Tourist motorcycle while Pax sat in the sidecar for a ride around Los Feliz, CA, on Saturday. The duo stopped by Gelson's to pick up groceries as they prepped for New Year's Eve. The Jolie-Pitts wrapped up their big 2011 near LA, but the holiday wasn't just about family since Brad and Angelina also celebrated Jonah Hill's birthday at Hollywood's La Descarga. Brad and Jonah will get to spend even more time together this year since their film Moneyball is getting recognition and nominations. Both Brad and Jonah are up for honors at the Golden Globes - make sure to place your Golden Globe picks for a chance to win $1,000 - and the movie is up for favorite drama at next week's People's Choice Awards.

It looks like Brad will be busy even after award season ends since Angelina bought Brad a waterfall and surrounding land, where he plans to build a Frank Lloyd Wright-style home, for Christmas and his birthday. He'll also release Cogan's Trade and World War Z, which he spent much of 2011 working on.

Brad's parents, Bill and Jane, came out to support Angelina at the Monday night premiere of her film, but it seems they skipped this latest outing. Angelina's film opens in theaters at the end of the month and when she's done with her press tour, we'll see where the globe-trotting Jolie-Pitts decide to spend their Christmas and New Year's.

Angelina Jolie took Pax, Shiloh, and Zahara out to see The Muppets in NYC today. Pax wore a cool shark sweatshirt while Shiloh dressed up in a shirt printed with a tie and Zahara kept warm in a camel coat. Brad Pitt, Maddox, Vivienne, and Knox were missing from the family movie outing, though Brad had his own theater day with a few of the kids last weekend. Brad, Shiloh, Pax, Maddox, and Zahara caught a showing of Hugo in LA after Thanksgiving.
