Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene popped up to San Francisco yesterday for a fan event where they joked about shaving Robert Pattinson's head and what vampires smell like. They also have reason to celebrate - the Twilight saga dominated today's People's Choice Award nominations. The People Have Chosen The Dark Knight

Last night at the People's Choice Awards the fans picked Adam, Reese, Robin, Carrie, Ellen, The Dark Knight and more. The stars thanked the fans since if it wasn't for them, well, they wouldn't have that heavy award. Ellen thanked her roommate Portia, and Reese was thrilled with how her year was starting. Dakota Fanning continues to glow as she grows so perfectly. Kate Hudson was late but she made it in time to pick up her Favorite Leading Lady Award and in her quirky speech she thanked birthday boy Ryder. Unfortunately big winners like Brad and Angelina skipped the show and somehow Two and a Half Men still wins stuff. The big winner of the night was The Dark Knight with 5 out of 5 including favorite action movie, cast and movie! Christian Bale kept the facial hair growing but his acceptance speech was short and sweet with his costar Heath top of mind. Click here to see a complete list of last night's winners.

Dakota, Latifah, Paris & Carrie Are People's Red Carpet Choices

It was all about the ladies on the red carpet at last night's People's Choice Awards in LA. Queen Latifah sparkled in purple as the host of the show, yet again, while Debra Messing kept it a little more geometric. Paris Hilton was a nominee this time around for her first presidential video, though she lost in the online sensation category to Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog. Dakota Fanning stood out in her blue one shoulder dress, once again looking perfectly pretty and age appropriate among her older counterparts. She is quite the little lady these days. Some of the bigger names skipped the red carpet and still graced the stage to accept awards, more on that in a bit. People's Choice Awards - The Actual Show

The People's Choice Awards sure looked like a fun party last night. The crowd was clearly having a blast probably because there are no nerves like at the Oscars. The winners might not have seemed surprised to win, but they were genuinely excited which is always pleasant to see. Eva got a supportive kiss from her date Felicity, The Heroes cast jumped for joy and the Grey's cast got animated as well. As usual, Robin did the unexpected to Halle Berry and JT was cute and goofy via satellite. We only wish Johnny Depp had made it.

While some of the biggest stars of the evening skipped the red carpet, there were still plenty of big names and huge smiles. Halle Berry showed off her hot legs and insane body - perhaps to crush any recent pregnancy rumors. Check out how to get Halle's hot look! McDreamy and McSteamy looked fabulous as usual. Carmen stood out in the crowd with her bright teal dress. We are a huge fan of Heroes so we loved seeing Masi Oka, and Greg Grunberg get goofy while young Hayden looked classy (even if she is showing off some serious leg in this pic). Also, Eva and Felicity look lovely as the two representing housewives.

Last night big stars came out to thank their fans who voted for them to take home the prize of The People's Choice. It's great that the stars see these awards as important since there are so many events coming up, but the other shows are based on the critics, the press or their peers while this one is actually based on us! You know, the ones that actually pay money to see them on the big screen, buy their CDs, and more. Congrats to all the winners which included Johnny Depp, Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz and Ellen Degeneres. My favorite winner of the night was Patrick Dempsey. Does it really get any cuter than a man who knows how to be grateful for everything, his fans, costars and wife? So cute and what fabulous hair - totally chic.

Will The Dark Knight Sweep the Awards It's Nominated For?

Christian Bale and Aaron Eckhart proudly showed off their trophies after The Dark Knight took home five out of five People's Choice Awards last night, including Best Movie of the Year. The film will be up for more honors tonight at the Critics' Choice Awards and again on Sunday at the Golden Globes. We'll have to wait a few more weeks to hear about Oscar nods, but tell us - do you think The Dark Knight will sweep the awards it's nominated for?
