How does someone become crowned People magazine's World's Most Beautiful Woman? Genetics, of course, play a major part, but so does having a healthy and happy lifestyle. Here's how 2012's winner Beyoncé has stayed fit throughout the years.

She's realistic: "I can't eat what I want, and I can't not go to the gym," Beyoncé told Self. She also has the right outlook; she knows that there isn't a quick fix when it comes to a healthy lifestyle. "The truth is, it's a lot of sacrifice. It's more about your mental strength than physical strength. You have to push yourself. It doesn't matter what trainer you have. And it doesn't matter what program you're on. You have to be healthy and make the right choices," she said.

She saves time: Beyoncé is a fan of celebrity trainer Marco Borges, who trains her using his signature Power Moves philosophy. This system helps Beyoncé save time since it relies on exercises that work several muscle groups at once. She also saves time by interval training, alternating between sprinting and running while on the treadmill, to burn more calories in a shorter amount of time.

Big congrats to Bradley Cooper, People's Sexiest Man Alive 2011! Last year's winner, Ryan Reynolds, is passing on the crown to yet another handsome, lovable, funny guy. In his typically humble manner, Bradley played it cool about his own good looks saying, "I think it's really cool that a guy who doesn't look like a model can have this [title]. I think I'm a decent-looking guy. Sometimes I can look great, and other times I look horrifying."

Bradley, who was recently rumored to be dating Jennifer Lopez but swears he's currently single, has had a pretty great 2011 career-wise. Not only was The Hangover Part II a huge hit, but he cemented his leading-man status with the success of Limitless. Not only is he sexy, but he's smart, too - the Georgetown grad is fluent in French. Plus, the first thing he thought when he earned the Sexiest Man Alive title? "My mother is going to be so happy." Aw!

Sandra Bullock nabbed the cover of this week's People with the big news about her divorce and baby son Louis, but she bumped one of the magazine's biggest annual stories - it's time for its Most Beautiful People of the Year list! Julia Roberts had been slated for the front of the issue, and she heads the group that includes Zoe Saldana, Jake Gyllenhaal, and more. Robert Pattinson is also up there, and he shared about how he feels his best when he's not dressed up like Edward Cullen. He said, "Having that makeup put on every single day, as soon as you get it taken off it's like, 'Oh, you do look normal. You look healthy now.'" Jennifer Aniston weighed in on her confidence, saying, "I feel beautiful when I'm laughing and surrounded by friends that know me and love me and vice versa . . . A good body scrub and massage do the trick as well." Their list also includes favorites like Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Lopez, while welcoming newcomers Justin Bieber and Katy Perry - what do you think of who made the cut?

Celeb to Come Out on People Cover?

On the heels of Ricky Martin announcing he's gay, rumors are flying that People has an exclusive with a gay celebrity who will be coming out on its May 5 cover. The mystery celeb will join the ranks of Clay Aiken, Lance Bass, and Neil Patrick Harris, who all came out on the mag's cover. Publicist Howard Bragman is allegedly behind the outing and announced it at the GLAAD Media Awards red carpet on April 17. Bragman has a long list of sports stars and celebs he's helped over the years, most recently Chaz Bono, when he announced his transition from woman to man.

It seems that as more and more celebrities start coming out, they make it easier for others to be open with their sexual orientation. Hopefully, we'll do away with the stereotypes altogether, and there won't be a need for "coming out." Who do you think might be making this big May 5 announcement?

Hannah Teter Goes Off the Grid

One thing that may have catapulted snowboarder Hannah Teter onto the Olympic podium for the second time in her career is her diet. Hannah - who scored a silver in the women's halfpipe - tells People that she credits turning vegetarian for making her a better athlete: "I started that [a vegetarian diet] last year and feel stronger mentally and physically, and springier."

Even though Teter has given up meat, she still gets plenty of protein. For breakfast, the snowboarding star has a power smoothie; dinner is often a veggie stir-fry with a side of quinoa. Quinoa is a great replacement for white rice and a staple among many vegetarians I know because it's exploding with protein and fiber. Though not a raw foodie, Hannah does admit to not cooking her food too long,"because you lose what's good in the food."

Besides a responsible diet, Hannah is also doing her part to live eco-consciously. And while I do my best to recycle, reuse, and reclaim, Hannah's taking it a step further by moving into a yurt on a parent's property in Vermont. (A yurt is sort of like a tent, except stronger and more weatherproof. It's portable and doesn't rely on a ton of materials for its construction.) Living green is not foreign to Hannah - her dad produces maple syrup on the family's property, and her mother keeps a huge garden and also tends fruit trees. If all goes as planned, Hannah hopes to be living off the grid by relying only on solar and wind power.

Speak Up: What Olympic Sport Would You Compete In?

In a fun video, People asked a bunch of celebs what sport they'd like to compete in if they were Winter Olympians. The big winner? Curling! Although curling is an old-school game, it's relatively new to the Olympics, debuting in 1992. It's also seen a more rowdy crowd this year: much like you'd see at a football game, I've spotted rows of shirtless men in the stands wearing body paint of their team's colors. Celebs like Matthew Morrison of Glee, Kelly Ripa, and Megan Mullally all say they want to "sweep" some stones across the ice.

Some of the other celebs in the video include Jerry O'Connell, Valerie Bertinelli, and Robin Thicke. My favorite is Project Runway's Tim Gunn, who says he'd be a champion in the "hot chocolate drinking competition."

If I had the kind of talent these athletes do, I'd be torn between riding a snowboard halfpipe or being fearless enough for alpine skiing. How about you - what Winter Olympic sport would you compete in?

Jennifer Aniston Had a 2008 Full of Love, Friends, and Health

Jennifer Aniston graces the cover of People's Best of 2008 issue with a puppy draped over her shoulders and a smile on her face. It's been an incredible year for Jennifer romantically and personally, and she's ending it with a bang releasing Marley & Me. In the magazine she answers questions from fans, including a cute one about your favorite celebrity pet of the year, Norman. Here's highlights:

On Norman and Dolly being jealous of Marley: "Oh, play it for me, Misti! Dolly didn't travel to Miami because she is too young at 2 ½, and to put her in a trailer didn't seem fair. All Norman wants to do is just lie at my feet, which is what I like. [The trainers] were strict about letting the Marleys play with other dogs. But there was no jealousy because Norman is very secure. Norman is now 13, but even back [as a puppy] he was as cool as a cucumber. He's just a person in a dog suit."
On favorite holiday traditions: "My favorite tradition is picking out my tree and then the tree trimming. I just got mine! And there's eggnog, Christmas carols, usually chili, cupcakes. I've cooked the chili – my mom has a great recipe. But now I have a lovely lady cook it because I want people to be happy!"
On remarrying: "I don't know! I honestly don't know. I'm not against it. Maybe (smiles). Maybe, sure."
On turning 40: "I'm very excited. I had more of a panic going into 30. I think you realize that it just gets better. When they say youth is wasted on the young, it's so true. Oh my God, what I wish I'd known when I was 30!"
On getting over bad days: "You just have to love your life. I have my health, I have my friends, I have my loved ones. I'm extremely lucky."

Methinks Feb. 11 can't come soon enough so Jennifer can stop answering questions about her 40th birthday, but of course she answered with grace and her famous sense of humor. As for the holidays, between her chili and John's baking sounds like they've got the makings of some new traditions of their own.

K-Fed Reveals He Was Blindsided by Britney's Divorce

We've been hearing a lot of Britney's side of the story recently - between her documentary and numerous magazine covers, we have new insight into her life, including her split from Kevin Federline. Now, Kevin decided to open up a little about what it's all been like for him, from falling in love to watching Britney break down last January to her big comeback year. Here are some highlights from his interview:

On his divorce: "It's hard enough to be in a marriage, and then have a kid, then kids, it changes everything. For me, I'd become more concerned with my children. Not that I ignored Britney, but my kids are always most important . . . I mean, we were having complications. I didn't give her an ultimatum, but I was trying to work stuff out with her, and she didn't even talk to me or anything and went behind my back and filed [for divorce]. [I was] completely blindsided."
On custody of his kids: "My first question to [my lawyer] was, "Am I ever going to be able to see my children?" I told him that I would spend every last dime that I had to make sure that my children are okay. That's all that mattered. I didn't know how much power Britney had. That really scared me."
On Britney's hospitalization: "That whole night is a blur. You want to talk about one of my lowest points of depression, that was probably one of them. I was very, very worried for her 'cause I care about her. That's the mother of my children. Just because I'm not in love with her doesn't mean that I don't love her. I'm definitely rooting for her. There's nothing more that I want than for her to be in the best health and doing what she loves to do."
On her improvement: "Oh, man, it's totally turning around. It works out that [the kids] get to see her. There's structure over there, there's structure at my house. We're trying to keep the same type of schedule. It doesn't have to be completely perfect, but the foundation is there."

Despite the bad reputation Kevin has, he seems genuinely supportive of what she's going through and like he's working hard to be the stable father Britney wants for their kids. As long as he's not trying to revive his rap career, it sounds like Kevin could have earned that Father of the Year trophy.
