Another day, another Hancock premiere for Will Smith and Charlize Theron. The actors opened the Moscow Film Festival yesterday with smiles, though they looked a little less overly friendly than Wednesday's red carpet. While Will was running around Europe his daughter, Willow, premiered Kit Kittredge in NYC last night. Both Hancock and Kit Kittredge are opening on July 2nd and when asked about beating her dad in the box office Willow said, “I think I’ll be the biggest flashing star...Yes…I’m going to post up on daddy’s movie. Willow is the star.” Sounds like there's another Smith looking to own Independence Day weekend.

Tom Cruise is in talks with The Kingdom director Peter Berg to head up his next thriller, Edwin A. Salt, after the first two directors dropped out. Hopefully this isn't shaping up to be another troubled project like Valkyrie seems to be. - Reuters

Hancock Swoops Into LA With Smiths Galore and More

After a trip around the world, Hancock hit LA last night with a high profile premiere. The Smith family is quite the red carpet pack now, perfecting the group pose for the camera - Jada was looking especially gorgeous in green - before Will was off to also pose with his costars. The next big movie star (at least in his head) Diddy was there as was Charlize nuzzling up to Stuart and Jason Bateman with his wife. Will looked overjoyed and recently talked about how great things are. He told Parade, "I feel like an athlete who has just caught my prime. I'm in the best physical condition of my life. I love what I do. I feel like this is truly the time for me to make my artistic sprint in my career." For now though, it's time to watch and see how his newest Summer blockbuster fares at the holiday weekend box office he made his own.

Charlize Breaks From Hancock to Battle With Stuart

Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend cozied up for the cameras to show off their documentary Battle in Seattle at a screening in LA yesterday with the likes of Matthew McConaughey and Camila. While they managed to keep it G-rated on the red carpet, Stuart joked that Charlize had to sleep with him in order to win a role in his movie, to which she replied, "You’re still making me sleep with you.” His lady may be happy to playfully flirt with co-star Will Smith on those Hancock red carpets, but it sounds like Charlize is still having the most fun with her main man.

Will Smith Premieres His Hancock in Paris

You know July 4th is around the corner when Will Smith starts his worldwide promotional tour for his latest Summer blockbuster. This year the festivities kicked off in Paris with his Hancock co-stars, Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman. Charlize admitted to Will's hotness and while they seem to be kissy on the red carpet we doubt their significant others have anything to worry about. Jason Bateman showed off his fresh haircut but it was his new production deal with FOX that was probably putting the smile on his face. Tony and Eva continued to gaze adorably into each other eyes - looks like their lovefest from the other night was still going strong. If this movie is anything like Will's others, we can expect a lot more star studded premieres leading up to the holiday weekend now known as Will's Independence Day.

The Kingdom Comes To LA

Jennifer Garner was the lady in red at the LA premiere of The Kingdom last night. She is just gorgeous when she glams it up. Will and Jada (in bright pink shorts formal wear - yowza) came out to support their friends' premiere and ham it up with Jamie Foxx on the red carpet. Jennifer's two time costar Jason Bateman was in the house as well to show off the more action packed of their fall releases. For what looks like a serious and intense movie, it's hard for it not to make me smile seeing Jennifer's dimples on the red carpet. Now, if only she had Violet's matching set in her arms.

Smokin' Aces Looks Hot

The stars came out in Hollywood last night to the premiere of Smokin' Aces. The film has a huge cast including Ben Affleck, Ryan Reynolds, Jeremy Piven, Peter Berg, Andy Garcia, Alicia Keys and more. Alicia is loving her new role as an actress, but wants us all to know music is still her number one priority. She said, "I need music - it helps me as a person. I'm working on my new album and I'm excited about it. I've been close to acting since I was a little girl. It's always been a part of my life. I was just waiting for the right time."

GQ Men of the Year Arrivals - Let's Focus On Just the Men For Now

Will Ferrell, Leo and Jay-Z landed 3 different covers for GQ's 11th annual Men of the Year issue, but all the guys looked truly deserving of cover boy status at the event last night. The Men of the Year awards was held at the Sunset Tower Hotel in LA and the honored guests clearly took the time to look their best. Even Jackass Johnny got in on the dress up action, but we do wish he would have worn a cleaner pair of shoes. He can clean up so well when he tries.

Fall TV Preview: Friday Night Lights

The much anticipated new show, Friday Night Lights premieres tonight at 8/7c on NBC. The show is based on both the book and the movie of the same name and even has the same director, Peter Berg. So was it really necessary to make this into a TV show also? Anyone remember the disaster TV show that was based on one of the best movies of all time, Clueless?

For those of you who missed the movie, the show has the same premise in that it takes place in a small town in Texas that revolves around the high school football team. Coach Taylor has just been promoted to head coach and is under a lot of pressure by the townspeople to do well. The hands-down most exciting thing about this new show is Kyle Chandler as Coach Taylor. Kyle played Dylan, the hot bomb squad guy that got blown up last season on Grey's Anatomy! Just like in the movie, the star quarterback gets hurt at the end of the first episode and it seems that the rest of the season will tell the story of the rise of the second string quarterback and the trials and tribulations of the first time head coach. I actually enjoyed the pilot, but with all of the good new shows out this season, I feel like I've already seen this one before.
