After taking their movie all over the world, the High School Musical kids were back on their home turf to premiere the third and final installment of the franchise in LA last night. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens looked like king and queen of the senior prom while Ashley Tisdale debuted her new darker hair. Fellow Disney star Selena Gomez was there to support her pals, and there were plenty of other celebs and their kids to check out the film.
Lindsay's Got a Birthday and Prom Night All Rolled Into One
As expected, Lindsay Lohan celebrated her birthday in style at Teddy's last night. She went heavy on the ruffles and diamonds with a costume change into a hot-pink strapless number partway through the night at the prom-themed party, while Samantha stuck to her version of a tuxedo. Sam kept by Lindsay's side as she mingled and blew out the candles on her Marilyn Monroe cake before taking over for DJ AM to spin for a while.

After celebrating with a prom-themed party on Wednesday night and carrying on the fun with a trip to Disneyland on Saturday, it looks like Lindsay Lohan's birthday celebrations finally have come to a close as she reported back to work on the set of Labor Pains yesterday. She and Samantha wound things down with a low-key lunch date on Sunday — which some tourists hilariously witnessed from the top of their sightseeing bus. The girls were then off to rent some DVDs, for a truly laid-back end to Lindsay's long weekend b-day bash.

Lindsay Lohan may have finally figured out how to stay out of trouble during her birthday/Fourth of July weekend, but she still managed to spend plenty of time celebrating the holidays. After her prom-themed party at Teddy's on Wednesday night, Lindsay headed to Disneyland on Thursday, and Ali and Samantha were right there to help fill the seats on those rides. Lindsay was in rehab this time last year, but it looks like she had a much better time on the Alice in Wonderland ride than at Promises.

Gwyneth stopped by Letterman last night in, what else these days, a hot LBD before showing even more skin at last night's big NYC premiere. Ever the fitness junkie, Gwyn also showed off her workout gear outside the studio. On the show, Gwyneth was living up to her new fun, accessible persona joking about her son Moses being a "sensitive thug" (from a Jay-Z song, of course) and feeling old finding herself talking about her medical issues.
