Paris Doesn't Need to Watch The Hills to Know It's Fake

Fresh off turning heads at the Cannes Film Festival, Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt were at the perfume industry FiFi Awards in NYC last night. Paris took home the prize for female celebrity fragrance of the year and also talked about why Doug is too good for The Hills. She said, "The show is, like, so lame and fake. He doesn't even want to be a part of it. They make up relationships when they’re not there, and he just thinks it's lame. I've never seen the show in my life. I have no idea what it's about. But he just thought it was cheesy." Paris also mentioned that Doug will making an appearance on the second season of Paris Hilton's My New BFF, so apparently he hasn't entirely lost his taste for reality TV.

There's extra cause for celebration this year, as it's only the second time in Oscars history that two black women, Taraji and Viola Davis, are nominated in the category of Best Supporting Actress. As someone with her own statue at home, Halle probably has a great deal of guidance to offer first-timer Taraji - starting with how to pick a memorable gown.

Obama's Inauguration Celebration Kicked Off With a Concert

It was a star-studded lineup that braved the cold in Washington D.C. yesterday to support Barack Obama at the 'We are One' concert at the Lincoln Memorial. U2, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, and Mary J. Blige took the stage with a ton of other celebrity speakers including Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington, Jack Black and Queen Latifah. Usher gave the President-elect a hug while Michelle, Malia and Sasha enjoyed the entertainment along side the Bidens. Obama addressed the crowd, expressing his gratitude for their support as the celebrations for the inauguration continue to heat up. Jay-Z and Beyonce have been celebrating all weekend long including champagne celebrations with friends on Friday night and her closing performance yesterday. The party looks like it's just getting started and we can't wait to see what else is in store for all of us.

Dakota, Latifah, Paris & Carrie Are People's Red Carpet Choices

It was all about the ladies on the red carpet at last night's People's Choice Awards in LA. Queen Latifah sparkled in purple as the host of the show, yet again, while Debra Messing kept it a little more geometric. Paris Hilton was a nominee this time around for her first presidential video, though she lost in the online sensation category to Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog. Dakota Fanning stood out in her blue one shoulder dress, once again looking perfectly pretty and age appropriate among her older counterparts. She is quite the little lady these days. Some of the bigger names skipped the red carpet and still graced the stage to accept awards, more on that in a bit. Beyonce, Morgan and Barbra Join Bushes at the White House

George and Laura Bush were gracious hosts one more time in their home stretch at the White House last night for the annual Kennedy Center Honors gala. Barbra Streisand, who played nice and even hugged G. W. Bush at the event despite her personal feelings towards the outbound president, Morgan Freeman and Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey of The Who were among the honorees. They were joined by political heavyweights Condoleezza Rice, Dick Cheney, the Bush family and more. Beyonce lit up the red carpet in her gown before taking the stage to sing "The Way We Were" while Jack Black managed to make the formal red carpet a little more fun. Congrats to all the honorees - the event airs on CBS December 30.

JT Isn't Sure He Wants Kids But Helps Keep Them Alive

Justin Timberlake took the stage with Alicia Keys last night at the Keep a Child Alive party in NYC. JT revealed he's "not sure" if he wants children of his own but did talk about moving to Manhattan soon. He said, "It's the greatest city in the world! It's good for everything. It's good for food, there's some good fashion, there's mostly good weather except for today and it's the realest city in America." Meanwhile, current Manhattanite John Mayer gushed about how well Jen knows him before joining her for a late dinner. Chris Daughtry also performed for the glammed up Jessica Alba and the rest of the star-studded crowd as everyone came out to support the children's charity.

A Starry November Night To Keep Children Alive in NYC

Stars came out in NYC last night for a great cause at Keep A Child Alive's annual Black Ball. Alicia Keys, co-founder and global ambassador for the organization, posed with Jessica Alba who was sporting the on trend bowl bangs. Alicia was able to wrangle up some great celebrity faces to round out the red carpet like suave guys Justin Timberlake and John Mayer both of whom dressed down their ties with leather jackets. Tyra and Queen Latifah were among the other familiar faces out to help save the children for a worthwhile formal Thursday night out on the town.
