Check Out the Poster For Tarantino's Latest, Django Unchained

Quentin Tarantino's latest project, Django Unchained, doesn't open until Christmas, but we're getting a look at the poster for the period piece today. Django features Jamie Foxx as a slave seeking revenge against his former master, an evil plantation owner played by Leonardo DiCaprio. We haven't seen any footage of the flick, which Tarantino calls a Spaghetti Western. The red and black deco teaser is cool, but we're curious about who the two silhouetted men are supposed to be - possibly Foxx and Christoph Waltz, who plays a bounty hunter? What do you think?

Leonardo DiCaprio Heads West With Tarantino

Leonardo DiCaprio may be Martin Scorsese's pet leading man, but the actor is eyeing a collaboration with another high profile director: DiCaprio is in talks to star in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained. The actor would play the villain in the spaghetti Western, a ranch and club owner named Calvin Candie who keeps women as slaves and makes men fight to the death. Django, the titular freed slave must deal with Candie in order to rescue his wife and get her to safety.

There's no doubt that Tarantino will line up an amazing cast (Christoph Waltz and Will Smith are both rumored to get on board), and this sounds like a villainous role DiCaprio can really sink his teeth into. Can you see Leo going evil or is that baby face only suited to playing good guys?

Community's Pulp Fiction Homage

Diane Kruger posed in a bold Preen dress and Brian Atwood booties with Joshua Jackson at a reception for I Am Love in LA last night. The party, held at Sunset Tower, was hosted by Quentin Tarantino and also honored the film's leading lady, Tilda Swinton. Diane and Josh were still sporting their Cabo glow after returning from their sunny vacation on Wednesday. They're right in the middle of all the award season action, which continues this weekend with the Critic's Choice Awards tonight and the Golden Globes on Sunday. Diane's been a red carpet staple at previous shows, though it remains to be seen if she'll don more gorgeous gowns for this year's festivities.

Jake Adds His Manly Touch to Elle's Women in Hollywood Event With Kate, Gwyneth, Diane, and More

Elle magazine took over LA last night to host its 17th annual Women in Hollywood event. The gray carpet was full of color, with both Diane Kruger and Gwyneth Paltrow opting for bright Calvin Klein numbers. Kate Hudson, meanwhile, went with a black Prabal Gurung dress and a daring side-swept hairstyle. Rachel Zoe covered up her supposed baby bump with one of her favorite flowing gowns and even a Rachel Zoe for QVC fur, while Jake Gyllenhaal went classic in his Burberry suit. We were able to grab a minute with Kate as she headed inside to her waiting boyfriend, Matt Bellamy. After seeing her sing on this season of The Rachel Zoe Project, we wondered about her venturing into music - she said she wouldn't rule out releasing an album, but she's more likely to do Broadway first. Stay tuned later for video from the party to see what Diane had to say about her new movie and the best piece of style advice she's ever received!

Kate and Matt were seated side by side at their table, where they sipped champagne and kept the PDA coming. Both Kate and Gwyneth are featured in Elle's November issue, and they were each honored at the bash along with Diane. Kate took the stage to say a few words after being introduced by her mother, Goldie Hawn. Jake had kind words to share about his Proof costar Gwyneth, saying, "Bottom line, she is not a mere mortal like the rest of us. She is an Internet-savvy, award-winning lifestyle guru, making all of us look lazy."

Michael, Jason, Anna, and Mae Would Like to Introduce Scott Pilgrim

Lots of funny people hit the red carpet in LA last night for the premiere of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Michael Cera and Jason Schwartzman posed for photos solo, and Anna Kendrick turned a few heads in her strapless gown and high heels. Parenthood's Mae Whitman skipped the Summer TCAs in order to promote her big-screen project. Her TV costars, though, treated Buzz to a sneak peek at what's to come next season. Anna, Michael, and Jason were happy to keep showing off their film after spending last weekend together at Comic-Con, where she spoke about life on the set and Mr. Cera dressing like a superhero ranked among Buzz's favorite moments from the convention.
