Funny People Celebrate the Latest From Judd Apatow

A handful of Hollywood's most hilarious actors and actresses gathered together for the premiere of Funny People in LA last night. Eric Bana and Seth Rogen suited up while Adam Sandler kept to his casual style. Leslie Mann made a splash in her all-pink ensemble, but Rashida Jones looked equally gorgeous in muted tones - what lipstick shade do you like best on her? Director Judd Apatow had three dates for his big night, though his wife and daughters earned their tickets with roles in the film. On July 31, we'll get to check out the film, and it already seems like a home run with such an entertaining cast.

Michael Phelps Cleans Up at the Star-Studded ESPY Awards

Many celebs hit the red carpet last night at the ESPY awards in LA to honor the stars of the sports industry. Samuel L. Jackson was the evening's host, and he kept the audience laughing with his jokes about Twitter. Zachary Quinto took the stage looking dapper in his suit, while Miranda Kerr smiled for photos before the scary robbery at Orlando Bloom's house. Demi Moore was also on hand to present Michael Phelps with one of his five awards. It might not have been as snazzy as last year's Justin Timberlake's ESPY hosting gig, but the athletes and stars looked fantastic for the sports-filled night.

Michael wasn't the only one getting trophies - Hollywood's beloved Lakers won Best Team. Other presenters included Rashida Jones and Jeremy Piven, while funny men Andy Samberg and Seth Meyers watched alongside Billy Crudup. The festivities are set to air Sunday evening on ESPN.

Amy, Will, Aziz, and Rashida Recreate and Celebrate

NBC's newest comedy, Parks and Recreation, debuted sandwiched between two episodes of The Office last night. Instead of staying home to watch the show's premiere, the stars took their minds off reviews and ratings to party away at My House club in Hollywood. Amy Poehler was hilarious as the heart of the show - she and Will Arnett left baby Archie at home for the night to celebrate. Aziz Anzari is my favorite part of the show already, while Rashida Jones is sweet as ever. Anna Faris has her own movie coming out this weekend, Observe and Report - check out Buzz's review here - but she came to support her fiance Chris Pratt. I'm clearly already on the P and R train, but are you loving it yet?

The Ronsons Heart Partying but Not With Lindsay

The Ronson family gathered at Bar Marmont in LA on Friday to celebrate Charlotte's I Heart Ronson JCPenney collection. Celebrity guests included Nicole Richie, the Hilton sisters, and Rashida Jones, but noticeably absent was Lindsay Lohan. Samantha apparently banned Lindsay from coming but LL still tried and had to be restrained by five bouncers at the door when she showed up. Despite the drama, Sam kept busy with her music as their mom Ann Dexter-Jones snapped photos and Mark helped provide the tunes. Lindsay's erratic behavior, including unexpectedly joining Lily Allen on stage last week, has some worried, and with rumors that things might be over for real this time between her and Samantha, maybe LL can concentrate her actions on her career again.

So Much Love For Paul, Jason, Audrina and Jon

Paul Rudd, Jason Segel and Rashida Jones are the stars of I Love You, Man, but they weren't the only stars we liked to see at the premiere in LA last night. Jon Hamm and his girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt looked relaxed on the red carpet posing as close as ever. Even Audrina got the invite and we may be seeing even more of her - apparently just like Lauren she's ready to quit The Hills after this season and pursue her own reality show about her new career. The bromantic and romantic comedy hits theaters this Friday and check back later this week on Buzz to see the review of the film.

Posh, Eva, and More Help Elton Raise Money After the Oscars

For many stars, Elton John's annual charitable Oscar party was the destination last night, and for others it was a stop along the way. Victoria Beckham, Eva Longoria, and Chace Crawford were just a handful of the beautiful people who stepped out to attend his 17th Oscar bash, which raised $4 million for AIDS by the end of the night. Kate Beckinsale had her husband Len as her date, while Ben Stiller ditched his Joaquin beard to chat up Ryan Seacrest. Elton took his turn at the piano to play "Benny and the Jets" for his guests and also shared a few words, saying, "People are going through tremendous hardship. In this time of hardship, we are going to raise as much money as we possibly can."

Simon Cowell looked happy to have Terri Seymour back on his arm after their recent split, while Quincy Jones was especially proud of his date, daughter Rashida. Claire Danes celebrated with her new fiance Hugh Dancy, and fellow musicians Josh Groban and Carrie Underwood got to take a night off from performing to celebrate a different aspect of the entertainment industry. Elton's was just one of the many star-studded afterparties the night offered, but combining a special cause with the festivities was an added Oscar night bonus.

Amy Poehler and Rashida Jones got to work on the set of their still untitled new sitcom - recent rumored name is Public Service - in LA yesterday. The ladies were just two of the cast members who had everyone cracking up at the TCAs before they had even started shooting. A show about small town politics sounds like a premise rife with comedy. Who knows, maybe next year Amy Poehler will be giving her friend Tina Fey some actual competition during award season.

Amy Poehler Lives With Bourne and Can Time Travel

Amy Poehler's husband made us laugh earlier this week, but today it was her turn to show off her new TV show. Once called the The Office spinoff, it's now going to be focused on the minutia of local politics - check out lots of details about the show on Buzz. Aziz Ansari, Rashida Jones, and Amy Poehler kept the crowd laughing, which makes me very excited for the show which will premiere April 9, presumably with a title of some kind. Here were some highlights from Amy's hilarious quotes:

On her husband and son's dual Canadian/American citizenship: My husband likes to throw his passports on the bed and pretend he’s Jason Bourne. He frantically packs a bag and rifles through his two passports. I’m hoping my son can do the same thing. Worst Bourne movie ever.
On her reaction to SNL's song to her when she had her baby: Uncontrollable sobbing. I watched it in my hospital bed with my son. He was conveniently born at 6 p.m so I watched it live at 11:30.
On men being more successful than women post-SNL: I think that’s probably changing. I think Lorne Michaels has done more for women in comedy than anyone I know. I’d like to think I’ll be part of making that an old story.
On her character, a local politician being "normal": I am a spy though and I can time travel, and I’m wearing someone else’s face.

Love it already, maybe her friend Tina Fey will have a little competition next award season.

The GQ Men Put on Their Suits and Schmooze the Ladies

After walking the red carpet in LA last night, the celebration of GQ's Men of the Year continued inside. Jon Hamm - who received even more honors today - posed with both Megan Fox and fellow cover boy Leonardo DiCaprio. Leo also got a shoutout from Zac Efron, who said he's "trying to take after Leo". Adam Brody made a rare appearance sporting a slightly mohawked hair style, though couldn't be bothered to spring for a new shirt. Rumored new couple on screen and off Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Jerry Ferrara hung out with fellow Entourage star Kevin Connolly and everyone looked like they were having fun celebrating the accomplished and handsome men of 2008.

Men of the Year Party With the Women Who Are Obsessions

Two out of GQ's four cover boy Men of the Year came out to celebrate at the Chateau Marmont in LA last night. Jon Hamm and Leonardo DiCaprio both lived up to their steamy covers while Michael Phelps and Barack Obama (surprise) couldn't make it to the red carpet. Obsession of the year Megan Fox looked hot in pink and kept her boyfriend Brian Austin Green close for photos. Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel still don't want to define their relationship, but things seem very on again for this duo. January Jones looked glamorous as ever posing without her on-screen Mad Men husband Don Draper, but if the second season of the show taught us anything it's that Betty is just fine by herself. The party may have been about the men of the year, but the women held their own before heading in for a night of fun.
