Ben Affleck kept warm in layers as he continued to film The Town in Boston yesterday. His costar Rebecca Hall was slightly luckier, as she worked indoors with Ben directing the scene from outside. Ben was able to enjoy lots of family time on set while his girls were in Massachusetts, but Jennifer and their daughters are back in LA.

Ben didn't have Jennifer, Violet, and Seraphina around this time to keep him company, but it looks like he was busy taking charge of things from the director's seat.

Their costar Blake Lively wasn't around since she was off in NYC enjoying Fashion Week and working on Gossip Girl, but she definitely got an eyeful of the good-looking cast during her time in Massachusetts a few weeks ago.

While Jennifer might not be thrilled about some of Ben's behavior on set, both she and Ben seem committed to keeping their family close despite their always-busy filming schedules.

Ben Affleck was joined by Rebecca Hall on Wednesday on the Boston set of The Town, while Jennifer Garner took a day off from park trips with her girls for a special trip to Washington DC. She was in the capitol as an ambassador for Save the Children, joining Representatives Hoyer and Nelson as they introduced a new education bill. Jennifer has opened up before about her passion for working with the kids' rights organization, and when she's East she often hops down to the capital to spread her philanthropic heart.

Blake Lively was in NYC to film Gossip Girl on Monday, but yesterday she arrived in Boston with her luggage to start work on The Town. She was joined by her costar Rebecca Hall, who landed a role in the film following her work in Vicky Cristina Barcelona. The girls will also be joined on screen by Jon Hamm, though he's back in LA following his own trip to Massachusetts over the weekend.

After making a grand entrance into the San Sebastian Film Festival, Javier Bardem got to work promoting Vicky Cristina Barcelona at a photo call yesterday after attending opening ceremonies. This morning he got all dressed up to accept the National Cinematography Award with his mom by his side. After his amazing year racking up prizes for No Country For Old Men, Javier is well-versed in collecting praise and trophies, but he still does it with that humble smirk we love so much.
