Ben Takes the Town While His Girls Have Fun in the City

Violet Affleck was full of energy after another day of school in LA yesterday. Mom Jennifer Garner was right behind, with her hands full of Violet's many accessories. Later in the afternoon, Jen was off taking care of some business while Violet and Seraphina took a walk with their nanny. Violet was still looking enthusiastic, as she kept pace alongside Seraphina.

Ben, meanwhile, was still hard at work on The Town in Boston. He had Jon Hamm and Rebecca Hall for company, though, as they spent the afternoon filming around the city's financial district. Ben and his cast are back in Massachusetts after a recent trip to Connecticut, where they shot gambling scenes at the Mohegan Sun casino.

Ben Keeps Rolling in Boston While Jen Heads Back to LA

Ben Affleck kept warm in layers as he continued to film The Town in Boston yesterday. His costar Rebecca Hall was slightly luckier, as she worked indoors with Ben directing the scene from outside. Ben was able to enjoy lots of family time on set while his girls were in Massachusetts, but Jennifer and their daughters are back in LA. Violet's already returned to school, and Jennifer spent her afternoon yesterday shopping for flowers with baby Seraphina.

Ben and Jon Chat on Set While Jennifer and the Girls Stroll

Ben Affleck was behind the camera yesterday to film The Town in Boston. He was joined on set by costars Jon Hamm and Rebecca Hall, who were a few stories up filming behind a window. Ben didn't have Jennifer, Violet, and Seraphina around this time to keep him company, but it looks like he was busy taking charge of things from the director's seat. The girls were off having fun times of their own with a stroll through the city that's fast becoming home.

Ben Affleck and Rebecca Hall got kissy yesterday while filming The Town in Boston's Copley Square. He was out of his usual uniforms, this time spending his afternoon looking hot in a leather jacket. While Ben's hard at work on his latest movie project, his girls are busy seeing the sights of the city. Jennifer Garner and his mom Chris brought Seraphina and Violet out for a recent trip into nature, bonding with some adorable animals at a local petting zoo. Jon and Ben Are Two Boys Back Together in The Town

The Boston set of The Town was a good-looking place yesterday afternoon with Ben Affleck and Jon Hamm turning up to film scenes together. Rebecca Hall was a lucky lady, as she continued working alongside Ben after their afternoon together earlier this week. Their costar Blake Lively wasn't around since she was off in NYC enjoying Fashion Week and working on Gossip Girl, but she definitely got an eyeful of the good-looking cast during her time in Massachusetts a few weeks ago.

Jennifer Heads to DC While Ben Stays in the Town

Ben Affleck was joined by Rebecca Hall on Wednesday on the Boston set of The Town, while Jennifer Garner took a day off from park trips with her girls for a special trip to Washington DC. She was in the capitol as an ambassador for Save the Children, joining Representatives Hoyer and Nelson as they introduced a new education bill. Jennifer has opened up before about her passion for working with the kids' rights organization, and when she's East she often hops down to the capital to spread her philanthropic heart.

Blake and Rebecca Tour the Town Together

Blake Lively was in NYC to film Gossip Girl on Monday, but yesterday she arrived in Boston with her luggage to start work on The Town. She was joined by her costar Rebecca Hall, who landed a role in the film following her work in Vicky Cristina Barcelona. The girls will also be joined on screen by Jon Hamm, though he's back in LA following his own trip to Massachusetts over the weekend. Yesterday also happened to be Blake's 22nd birthday, so she may have been able to celebrate with both her familiar and new cast and crew.

Penelope Cruz Nabs Herself a SAG Nomination!

Penelope Cruz looked gorgeous last night at a screening of Vicky Cristina Barcelona alongside costar Rebecca Hall and her good friend Pedro Alomodovar in London. Penelope and her little movie that could are getting noticed this awards season, and she has one more red carpet to look forward to - she was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Supporting Actress. Other favorites like Benjamin Button, Doubt, and Milk picked up a few nods as well, with Brad and Angelina grabbing his and hers nominations yet again - check out the full list of nominees here. Penelope knows a thing or two about award shows, but hopefully she'll take a little time out today to celebrate her latest achievement.

Javier Bardem Brings Barcelona to San Sebastian

After making a grand entrance into the San Sebastian Film Festival, Javier Bardem got to work promoting Vicky Cristina Barcelona at a photo call yesterday after attending opening ceremonies. This morning he got all dressed up to accept the National Cinematography Award with his mom by his side. After his amazing year racking up prizes for No Country For Old Men, Javier is well-versed in collecting praise and trophies, but he still does it with that humble smirk we love so much.
