Mary J Blige Scores Big with Grammy Noms
The Grammy nominations were announced today at the Music Box in LA and Mary J Blige is the big leader scoring 8 nominations. The Red Hot Chili Peppers didn't do so bad either with their 6 nominations. We're most excited to see Justin on the list for his latest FutureSex/LoveSounds.
Carmen Announces the AMAs
The nominations for this year's American Music Awards are out! Carmen and Tyrese announced the nominees for the awards which will be in LA on November 21st. What's cool about these awards is that the nominations were determined by record sales and radio air play but the winners are determined by the public.

MTV announced the nominations for the 2006 Video Music Awards today. Shakira and The Red Hot Chili Peppers received the most nominations for the VMAs with 7 each. Both will compete for video of the year along with Christina and Madonna.

While I suppose you have to give props to any guy that thinks outside the red carpet box, somehow it's the more traditional dressers that end up looking the best. The People Choose Their Nominees
The 2007 People's Choice Awards nominees were announced today by Isaiah Washington and Neil Patrick Harris. Luckily nothing went down between these two, but Isaiah did have to read Patrick Dempsey's name for Favorite Male TV Star. Other nominees included Jen and Vince for favorite on screen duo, Matt Damon for Favorite Leading Man and Favorite On-Screen Match-Up with Leo in The Departed.
JT Brings Sexy Back
JT is in Paris promoting his new "club funk" sound. He did an interview with MTV to discuss the direction of his new album. What I like about JT (besides the fact that I am a sucker for a POP star) is that he really seems to take his career seriously.
Jessica Really Appeals to the Teens
Apparently Jessica and Cash didn't have time to take advantage of being in Paris after Eva and Tony's wedding, because the two were at the airport on their way out yesterday morning. And don't they just look thrilled as usual (though I'm loving her coat)? Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer may have been a bit overshadowed by the other Summer blockbusters, but the Teen Choice Awards committee took notice and nominated Jessica for 3 awards: Hissy Fit, Female Hottie, Action Adventure Actress.
Cameron Teams Up with Gore to Announce Live Earth
Cameron, Al Gore and Pharrell got together yesterday to announce plans for a Live Earth concert. The event will hopefully raise awareness and money for environmental organizations in the same way that Live Aid did for Famine, Farm Aid did for farming and Live 8 did for Africa. The event, which will take place on 7 continents on July 7th, has already lined up stars like Pharrell, John Legend, Black Eyed Peas, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson.
Backstage Fun at the Big in '06 Awards
The fun didn't stop on stage at the VH1 Big in '06 Awards. It continued backstage where JT showed off his trophy for Big Music Artist. He looks kind of surprised, yet he has no reason to be.
