Reese Witherspoon and Matthew McConaughey were all smiles posing side-by-side today at their Cannes photocall for Mud. During a press conference earlier today, Reese talked about her supporting role in Mud, saying, "I grew up with my brother in a creek, riding dirt bikes, dirt fishing, everything you see the boys in the movie doing. When I read Jeff's script, it felt like home. It's a beautiful story about the place I'm from." Reese Witherspoon Touches Down in Cannes With Jim Toth

Reese Witherspoon had her husband Jim Toth by her side as she landed at the airport in Nice this afternoon. The couple are in France for the Cannes Film Festival, where Reese will premiere Mud with costar Matthew McConaughey. Matthew's already started making the rounds in the South of France since he's also promoting The Paperboy with Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron at the festival.

It's been an exciting few months for Reese, who celebrated her one-year wedding anniversary and is looking forward to welcoming her third child. Reese has been staying active during her pregnancy, and recently hit the tennis courts for a workout with friends. She'll show off her fit form on the red carpet on Saturday, joining the many other celebrities at the Cannes Film Festival this year.

The expectant actress sported a purple tennis skirt and a ponytail during her workout and has been keeping up her athletic habits throughout her pregnancy, frequently going for jogs around her neighborhood. Reese and her husband, Jim Toth, have been spending most of their time close to home while they await their new arrival, but they did make a jaunt to Washington DC late last month for the White House Correspondents' Dinner. Reese was among many Hollywood celebs in attendance at the political event.
