Rihanna's Schedule Is Booked, Including New Year's

Rihanna was out and about for another hectic day of promoting Rated R in NYC yesterday. First up was a stop by the radio station Hot 97 in a white blazer, before she put on her black coat for lunch at her usual spot, Da Silvano. The next item on her agenda was an appearance on The Late Show in yet another dark ensemble. She was on hand to perform "Russian Roulette" - check out the video after the jump.

Rihanna wound up her day in a sparkly gold dress for her record release party at the Supper Club. She was joined by both Jay-Z and recent birthday boy Diddy, who shared with Yum his secrets to a successful bash. Ashley Greene also paid a visit after her own Maxim party, and she was spotted leaving around the same time as Rihanna headed home in a red outfit. The hectic scheduling isn't going to slow down for Rihanna anytime soon, as she's just signed a deal to perform in Abu Dhabi on New Year's for half a million dollars.

Rihanna Wakes Up Early For a Rated R Morning

Rihanna headed to NYC after her weekend appearance at the American Music Awards, where she wore an outrageous onstage outfit. She's touring the world to support her album Rated R, and she was at a Best Buy last night to autograph copies and even pose for photos with a few lucky fans. This morning was an early one for Rihanna, as she headed out to appear on Good Morning America. She first did a run-through in her black coat, before stripping down to her embellished white blazer to perform and chat with Robin Roberts - check out the video after the jump.

The red carpet at last night's American Music Awards featured lots of gorgeous girls and sharply-dressed guys, but it was onstage where the most fantastic fashions were on display. Stars Sparkle, Burn and Sing at the American Music Awards

The stars of last night's American Music Awards hit the red carpet before heading inside LA's Nokia Theatre for the main event. Janet Jackson kicked things off with an energetic eight minute performance, and the evening's first award then went to the Black Eyed Peas. The Black Eyed Peas went on to take the stage to do "Boom Boom Pow" with a special Nirvana twist. The show went on with performances from Carrie Underwood and Shakira, as well as from Jay-Z and Alicia Keys with "Empire State of Mind." Unfortunately not everyone stayed on their feet - both Jennifer Lopez and Adam Lambert took tumbles while singing.

There were other memorable performances, from Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and not to mention Whitney Houston's return to the stage before she received the International Award of Excellence. Jennifer Lopez had a beaming Marc Anthony in the crowd as she debuted her new single and showed off those customized Louboutins. Michael Jackson won multiple awards, and his brother Jermaine took the stage to accept the award on behalf of their family. Taylor Swift took home the most statues, though she wasn't there and the upset of the night might have to go to Gloriana who won breakthrough artist - make sure to check out the full list of winners. Kate Hudson joined her Nine costars Fergie and Nicole Kidman, though Kate did have a chance to share a special moment with Alex Rodriguez. The 2009 American Music Awards descended on the Nokia Theatre in LA last night, which meant a star studded red carpet before the big show. It was a pleasant mixture of long and short dresses on all the ladies, though some even found a way to do both simultaneously like Rihanna in her cutout gown. Carrie Underwood has the early lead in Fab's best dressed poll, but Rih is close behind. Alicia Keys stood out in blue while Fergie's high slit meant she showed off some leg as she posed. Nicole Kidman spent most of her red carpet time on the arm of her husband Keith Urban - speaking of which, check out all the guys here.

Shakira and Selena Gomez cozied up for the cameras in their standout short dresses while Demi Lovato sported some bling around her neck. Rihanna Cruises Back to LA and Shuts Down Romance Rumors

Rihanna landed at LAX late last night after performing earlier in the day on the Royal Caribbean's cruise ship in Ft. Lauderdale. She spent most of her week overseas in Europe where she performed and partied with Jay-Z and Beyonce while promoting Rated R. While she was away, a new romance rumor emerged, which she quickly shot down on a radio interview. She also said that she still likes Chris Brown's music, but for now her focus is on her own album which is out next week.
