Sandra Bullock Goes Sleek and Shiny For Her Premiere With Tom Hanks

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close stars Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock teamed up in NYC last night for their premiere at the Ziegfeld Theatre. They posed on the red carpet with their young leading man, Thomas Horn, before hitting the press line. Sandra's been talking up Thomas's exceptional acting all week, including yesterday on the Today show, telling Matt Lauer, "He might only be 13, 14, but he's far more educated, wiser, kind, empathetic than most adults in this room."

Sandra wore an Alexander McQueen pantsuit and sported a sleek-haired look. The role in the 9/11 film is Sandra's first since winning an Oscar for The Blind Side in 2010. Memories of the attacks are still raw for the actress, and Sandra shared her experiences from 9/11 recently. Sandra said, "I was here. I saw it. I saw the second plane. I saw people falling. It's never left. I think if you're here in New York and you saw and you felt and you heard, it doesn't leave. I mean you can sort of quiet it, but you hear a sound, you see an image, you look up at the clear blue sky and see a beautiful building. It doesn't go anywhere."

Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts Hit the Red Carpet For Larry Crowne

Julia Roberts and Tom Hanks stepped out in LA last night for the premiere of their upcoming film Larry Crowne. Tom and Julia had tons of their costars on hand for posing on the red carpet, including Taraji P. Henson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Grace Gummer. Nia Vardalos, the My Big Fat Greek Wedding scribe who also penned this film, smiled for the cameras with Tom's wife Rita Wilson. The Larry Crowne reviews look promising, so the comedy may be a big draw over the long Fourth of July weekend. Tom and Julia's excitement about their movie was evident in our recent interview with the pair, as they laughed and joked about how shooting the picture hardly felt like work at all.

Oscar Winners Natalie and Colin Party With Gwyneth, Reese, Sandra, and More Inside Vanity Fair's Bash

Vanity Fair pulled off another star-studded Oscars party last night. Some stars, like Jon Hamm, Jennifer Westfeldt, Emma Stone, Anna Paquin, and Stephen Moyer, arrived earlier to eat dinner and watch the show on TV, while others turned up after attending the big event hosted by Anne Hathaway and James Franco in person. Reese Witherspoon, who wowed in a Giorgi Armani gown, was solo on the red carpet before the show, but once at the bash she met up with her fiancé, Jim Toth. Cameron Diaz and one of the evening's performers, Gwyneth Paltrow, made it a ladies night as they caught up in a corner, but young lovers Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez hardly left each other's sides. Natalie Portman and Colin Firth, the best actor and actress winners, walked inside with the best accessory possible, their Academy Award. She stuck close by her fiancé, Benjamin Millepied, following her stint in the press room talking about their baby, while Colin was finally able to get in some dancing with his wife.

Plenty of other Hollywood couples were able to sneak in PDA, as Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel cuddled up on a couch. Madonna chose to make things a family affair, showing skin in a lacy black dress alongside her daughter Lourdes. For others, it was about catching up with old friends. Jake Gyllenhaal had a nice chat with 50 Cent, and newly single stars Jude Law and Scarlett Johansson shared a moment documented in pictures. Michelle Williams, who was nominated for the best actress honor that ultimately went to Natalie, spent the whole evening with her friend and date Busy Philipps. Selena momentarily left Justin Bieber to catch up with her friend Taylor Swift, who managed to not be photographed anywhere near her ex Jake. He also had another former love, Reese, to avoid as well. Alex, Colin, Rachel, and More Turn Out to Toast Tom Ford's New Store

Alexander Skarsgard led the procession of hotties who turned out last night to celebrate the opening of Tom Ford's store in LA. Joining the True Blood star were Oscar nominee Colin Firth, who's up in the best actor category, and Bradley Cooper. Bradley is gearing up for a big press tour on behalf of his upcoming film Limitless - make sure to enter our I'm a Huge Fan contest and get in the running to meet Bradley in NYC! The busy actor also has The Hangover 2 on the way, so check out that movie's brand-new teaser trailer. Rachel Zoe, in vintage Oleg Cassini, broke from prepping Academy Award hostess Anne Hathaway's wardrobe to hit the bash with her husband Rodger Berman. Tom's shop, which also carries his much-coveted line for women, brought out many female admirers. Eva Longoria, Kristin Davis, and Elizabeth Banks all made impressive appearances on the black carpet. Rita Wilson opens up about her weight loss journey in the March issue of Harper's Bazaar, and in the first person chronicle, describes what prompted her to reach out to trainer Jillian Michaels. The actress, 54, describes putting on the "the freshman 15 at 53" and what it took to get it off.

On why she sought help: "My comfort food had now become . . . uncomfortable . . . It was time to get into shape, because how many times could I put one more photo of myself into my scrapbook, angling my body behind my husband's (or an unsuspecting person or a piece of furniture) so I would appear half my size?"
On meeting Jillian: "The first day Jillian came over to my house, I thought we would just discuss process, diet, physiology - you know, two girlfriends shooting the breeze . . . So when Jillian told me to get up and start running my interior stairs, I thought she was joking."

Colin Hanks married his fiancée Samantha Bryant in West Hollywood, CA yesterday in front of about 150 loved ones including, of course, his father, Tom Hanks, and Rita Wilson who looked on happily from the front row. Other attendees included Alyssa Milano, Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth. It was a beautiful afternoon for a wedding and the ceremony took place during sunset on the roof of the London hotel. Reese Witherspoon led the red carpet parade last night as Saks hosted its 13th annual Unforgettable Evening to benefit the EIF's Women's Cancer Fund in LA. She was joined by high profile couples like Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson and Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, but other ladies like Olivia Wilde and Christina Applegate posed for photos solo. Taylor Swift was back on the West Coast after a few days in Nashville, where she apparently met up with John Mayer multiple times; they were spotted getting dinner with friends before she enthusiastically cheered him on during a Crossroads taping. John's rumored attraction to her still doesn't sit well, but Taylor's at least got one noncontroversial project in the works with her new line of sweet greeting cards.

Meryl, Alec, and Steve Keep It Simple at It's Complicated

The stars of It's Complicated hit the red carpet in NYC last night for their premiere. Meryl Streep stopped to pose with costars Ali Wentworth and Rita Wilson, who looked amazing in sequined pants and a warm vest. Alec, meanwhile, had the company of his girlfriend Nicole Seidel. Steve chatted with us about competing with Alec for a woman's affections, even on film, saying, "Don't do it!" Another of the film's stars, John Krasinski, shared his plans for the holidays - he's heading home to Massachusetts armed with toys for his nieces and nephews, though he admits he's terrible at wrapping presents. Emily Blunt was by his side looking good in an LBD. Hunter Parrish is likewise prepping to travel, instead road-tripping with his family to his parents' Midwestern home states. Julia Showers Tom With Love and a Few Naughty Words

Tom Hanks was the man of the hour last night at the 36th Film Society of Lincoln Center's Gala in NYC. Rita Wilson sparkled on his arm, while Ron Howard framed the perfect shot of Tom and Julia Roberts. Fresh off her trip to Venice, Charlize couldn't help but gush about Salma Hayek's wedding and how beautiful the bride looked in her gown. Julia got the most attention of the night due to her miniroast of Tom. She teased him about a few of his past movies and used the f-word so many times to describe everything from his wife's body to wearing the same dress as his publicist that Tom called out her potty mouth in his own speech.
