Jack and Morgan Carry Their Bucket List to LA

Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman came out in LA last night to premiere their new sweetheart buddy film The Bucket List. In the movie, they play men from very different walks of life who are both terminally ill and embark on a series of adventures they've always wanted to do before they "kick the bucket." The boys were joined by friends Billy Crystal, John Mayer (who isn't one to miss a red carpet these days) and their pint-sized costar Taylor Ann Thompson. Oh, and in case anyone is still curious, this movie is the reason why Jack showed off that completely shaved head at last year's Oscars. The Bucket List comes out Christmas day and looks like it might be a perfectly (and possibly overly) saccharine holiday treat.

Celebrity Democrats Take Front Seat at the LA Debates

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton faced off at the Kodak Theater in LA last night at the final Democratic debate before Super Tuesday and some of Hollywood's most famous faces were front and center. Leonardo DiCaprio looked deep in thought deciding between the two Democratic candidates left in the race while Pierce Brosnan and Christina Applegate were happy to pose on the red (blue) carpet. Yes, you read that correctly, there was a red carpet at the debate. Quentin Tarantino and Kerry Washington engaged in a little post-debate schmoozing, no doubt discussing all the issues of the evening. Were you watching last night? Martin Scorsese Wins Top DGA Honor

Things are looking pretty good for Martin Scorsese at the Academy Awards this year. Despite directing classics like Taxi Driver and Goodfellas, Martin has yet to win an Oscar. Over the weekend, however, Martin was chosen as filmmaker of the year at the Directors Guild Awards for The Departed. The DGA's are a very good indicator of who will win the Oscar for best director and many believe that Scorsese is long overdue for his win. Martin was very modest during his acceptance speech, saying that he didn't even know the film was doing well until the studio called with the box office numbers. Its turned out to be his best commercial hit to date.

Other winners were Richard Shepard for the pilot of Ugly Betty and John Cassar for 24. Many celebs like Jennifer and America came out to support the men and women who make it all happen. AFI Honors Warren & Reunites Old Friends

The American Film Institute had its 40th anniversary on Wednesday, and some of Hollywood's finest were there to help celebrate. George Lucas, Billy Crystal and Jack Nicholson were among the 11 entertainers chosen to introduce a screening of one of their own films. The man of the night was Warren Beatty, who was honored with AFI's 36th lifetime achievement award. It looks like these old friends were more than happy to show their affections on the red carpet, especially that frisky Jack Nicholson.

Here It Is - The VF Cover with Jennifer!

USA Today reveals more of the Aniston interview in VF hitting newsstands this week. Here are a few more quotes from the article I can't wait to read:

"I've never in my life said I didn't want to have children. I did, and I do, and I will!"
"Am I lonely? Yes. Am I upset? Yes. Am I confused? Yes. Do I have my days when I've thrown a little pity party for myself? Absolutely. But I'm also doing really well."
"I love Brad. ... I will love him for the rest of my life,... I really do hope that someday we can be friends again."
And friend Courtney Cox says, while there was no affair, "there was a connection" between Jolie and Pitt, "and he was honest about that with Jen."

And in other Jen news, the new trailer for her movie, Rumor Has It is out and it looks amazing. I love the idea of a movie based on the family in The Graduate. Not only is it directed by Rob Reiner, but it also stars Mark Ruffalo and Mena Suvari both looking super cute. Kevin Costner is also in it as the older Dustin Hoffman character and this looks like one of those Tin Cup/Bull Durham/Bodyguard type of role where is sexy. I've missed him playing this kind of character so I'm looking forward to this movie for so many reasons.
