Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart touched down at LAX together this evening. The duo stayed a few steps apart after a similarly clandestine weekend of dinners together in NYC where Rob was spotted leaving while Kristen snuck out elsewhere! Rob and Kristen were apparently spotted making out while their fans all over the world headed out to make sure New Moon had a record breaking opening weekend. Congrats to Rob and Kristen! New Details From Robert and Kristen's Romantic NY Weekend

New Moon cleaned up at the weekend box office, so naturally Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson let off a little steam after their many weeks of travel promoting the film. We already heard the duo skipped out on Thursday's official afterparty for something more private, and they were spotted at the members-only Soho House before moving on to the club Avenue - where People reports they were spotted making out! The togetherness continued with Friday's trip to La Esquina, a late Saturday night at the Upper West Side spot Dive Bar, and dinner last night at Megu. Robert was the only one photographed leaving their meal, which some speculate was just a gentlemanly diversion to give Kristen some privacy as she exited through the back. Amazing!

Robert Pattinson Celebrates a Certifiably Big Weekend

Robert Pattinson hung around NYC after working hard to promote New Moon last week. He was able to join friends yesterday for dinner at Megu, and he was spotted on his way out in his usual jeans and sneakers. Robert's due for a little time off now that the film is a major hit - it broke the midnight screening record, had the biggest single day gross ever and went on to enjoy the third biggest opening weekend in history behind The Dark Knight and Spider-man 3. Robert also grabbed food with pals, including Kristen Stewart, on Friday night, but soon he'll be switching gears as he preps to star in Bel Ami with Uma Thurman.

Condensed Sugar: The New Moon Day Has Come

Well, after months of anticipation New Moon is finally out on the big screen. We followed Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and the rest of the cast from interviews, to photo ops, and even down to LA for their big premiere. They wrapped things up with a final screening and an afterparty on Thursday, and now we get to see the fruits of their labor in theaters again and again if we want. Robert Pattinson spent his Friday night out in NYC at dinner at La Esquina, still smiling after a rigorous few weeks promoting New Moon around the world. The night before he attended one final screening of the movie before sneaking off to a private afterparty with Kristen Stewart. New Moon Breaks Midnight Box Office Record!

It's official - all that promotion paid off! Summit Entertainment just released the news that New Moon had the biggest midnight opening of all time, raking in an estimated $26.27 million last night! It beat out Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince as well as The Dark Knight. Congratulations to Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and the rest of the cast - well-deserved partying indeed. Robert Talks to Ellen But Gets Cozy With Kristen

Robert Pattinson spent the week in NYC for the final leg of New Moon promotion, including one more screening last night, but before he went East, he stopped by to see Ellen DeGeneres. He opened up to Ellen about all sorts of topics, including a fan who actually took off her clothes - check out the three videos of their interview, which airs today. Last night, though, was a celebration with afterparties across the city. Rob and Kristen skipped the official bash, instead choosing a different lounge, where they were spotted whispering and getting cozy in a private booth. Apparently she was seen rubbing his back - is it so wrong to wonder if there was more hand holding too?

New Moon Cast Has a Big NY Finale Before Tonight's Opening!

The cast of New Moon trotted out for one more red carpet in NYC tonight. They all showed up to greet fans and press for a final special screening before the movie's official release tonight at midnight! Kristen rocked out in a green one shoulder dress to finish off her spectacular fashionable weeks - find out how to get New Moon star style here and take a look at the top five Twilight red carpet moments. Elizabeth Reaser and Ashley Greene both look fantastic amid some of their other celebrity attendees like Natalie Portman and Taylor Momsen.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen arrived together, but posed separately. Despite another exhausting day, Robert managed some smiles for the awaiting crowd who cheered big whenever they caught a glimpse. The rest of the men of the Twilight saga didn't look too shabby themselves!
