Emily VanCamp, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Robin Thicke Talk Family, Fashion, Vacations at ABC's Bash

ABC hosted a bash for the casts of their TV shows, both old and new, last night at NYC's Dream Downtown Hotel to celebrate the Upfronts. Hayden Panettiere and Connie Britton cuddled up after a long day promoting their new series Nashville. Another new program, Duets, had the support of judges Robin Thicke, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend. Many of ABCs returning hits were represented, too, like Suburgatory and Happy Endings. Revenge couple Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman were adorable on the red carpet, while Don't Trust the B---- in Apt. 23's Krysten Ritter posed solo. Once Upon a Time's real-life couple Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas did press with costar Jennifer Morrison.

We caught up with Duets' Robin, who spoke about his wife Paula Patton and their young son Julian. The couple apparently has a performer on their hands. Robin said, "He's got the ABC song down now. I'm hoping he'll learn a different one." Paula won't be able to watch the program, however. Robin added, "I told her I never want her to watch it, because she already loves me and I don't want that to go backwards at all. I don't want to lose any points, so just love me the way I am right now and don't watch any of my stuff."

Summer travel is something many stars said they're looking forward to. Revenge's Emily is dating costar Josh Bowman and he might be lucky enough to accompany her on some excursions. She is taking the next few months off and clued us in on her plans. Emily said, "I'm going to see my family on Thursday and I'm so excited. I get a few days with them, so I just want to have some downtime and hang with them. And then traveling! I've been traveling loads. I was in Sydney. I'm going to go to Europe for a bit. I've been really enjoying traveling . . . I think it's good to have a chance of perspective and leave LA, the bubble that is LA, once in a while." Don't Trust the B's Krysten Ritter has similar plans to let loose during a break. She said she's most looking forward to attending "bikini boot camp in Mexico!"

Robin Thicke and Paula Patton brought baby Julian to Barneys in LA last night. The proud parents are gearing up for their son's first holiday season with the last-minute shopping trip after welcoming him in the Spring. Robin's been taking care of things at home while Paula's been filming Mission: Impossible 4 in Vancouver, and now that the trio is back together they can enjoy the special time of year as a family.

What to Download: New Music Today

I already gave you a peek at today's DVD offerings; now, let's take a look at some new music to liven up your iPod. Alicia Keys's new album made it on my list of December must haves, so I'm pumped for its release, but I found a couple of others that are worth checking out, too.

Strong woman, strong sound: Alicia Keys's fourth studio album The Element of Freedom sounds like it comes from a heartbroken woman who refuses to give up. That's what makes this album classic Keys. As for what makes it fresh, she plays around with her usual piano-laden tracks, mixing in heavy drums and more hip-hop ("Love Is Blind" reminds me of Kanye West's 808s and Heartbreak). Keys is at her best on "Un-thinkable (I'm Ready)" featuring Drake and a fun collaboration with Beyonce titled "Put It in a Love Song." Also worth noting: an acoustic spin on "Empire State of Mind." Overall, Freedom is solid, but I sort of long for a hit like "No One," which seems to be missing here.

Not for the prudish: Robin Thicke knocks you over the head with overt sexuality in his new album, appropriately titled Sex Therapy: The Session. It's full of thinly-veiled euphemisms (and not so veiled, as with one song's chorus "I know you want to f***"). Once you get past the shock value and titles that use texting language (e.g. "Make U" and "2 Luv Birds"), it's surprisingly good. Thanks to catchy beats and Thicke's smooth voice, there are several times when Thicke channels Justin Timberlake's FutureSex/LoveSounds. I actually found myself humming along to Shakin' It 4 Daddy" (embarrassing, but true), and "Elevatas" with Kid Cudi is particularly excellent.

See one more release when you

Musical fun: Rob Marshall's Nine made a killing at this morning's Golden Globe announcement, which made me even more excited to listen to the full soundtrack which hit iTunes today. It includes the Best Song nominee "Cinema Italiano," an upbeat, dizzying number sung by Kate Hudson, and Fergie's "Be Italian" which she nails (as many of you agreed). All of the actresses show off their pipes here, but I'm particularly impressed with Daniel Day-Lewis - who knew that Bill "The Butcher" could sing?!

Eva, Anne, Busy, and Nicky Help Out Friends Without A Border

The star-studded UNICEF Ball wasn't the only big charity event in LA last night. The Roosevelt hotel was also brimming with celebrities out for the first annual Friends Without A Border gala. Some of the night's hosts included Anne Hathaway, who was gracious on the red carpet before heading in to meet up with her boyfriend. She gushed about how much she loves Glee and even said that she would love to guest star on the show! Robin Thicke performed and also revealed how he keeps his glowing pregnant wife Paula Patton happy - with regular belly and foot rubs. Busy Philips and Ali Larter both looked gorgeous and talked about their passion for the cause, which supports a hospital in Cambodia. Eva Longoria swooped in at the end of the arrivals, posing and smiling quickly before heading in to be applauded as one of the event's many hosts. Inside, the attendees mixed, mingled, bid on auction items, and settled in for a dominoes tournament as the evening went on.

Leighton Meester's "Somebody to Love" Video - Silly or Steamy?

Leighton Meester is apparently focusing hard on her singing career with special performances and new singles. You guys are already loving her song "Somebody to Love," and she just released a video that shows her scantily-clad and hitting clubs and hotel rooms with costar Robin Thicke. It's a little confusing to see Leighton as both buttoned-up Blair on Gossip Girl and as a slightly risqué singer, so check out the video below and tell us - is Leighton's video for "Somebody to Love" silly or steamy?

Blake, Bar and Jennifer Are Lovely in LBDs For Angels

It was all about the super sexy LBDs at last night's ball to benefit Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation at Cipriani, Wall Street in NYC. Blake Lively and Bar Refaeli both looked amazing and showed off some leg while in shape new mom Jennifer Hudson opted for matching black tights. Penn Badgley joined Blake for the fancy party after his movie, The Stepfather had a decent opening weekend at the box office. Blake's been especially busy recently traveling between Boston where she's filming Ben Affleck's The Town and her usual gig alongside her boyfriend Penn working on Gossip Girl in New York, but there's still time for red carpets for a good cause.

John Mayer made an appearance solo as rumors about his rekindled romance with Jennifer Aniston circulate, though you guys seem to think their giving it another go is a pretty terrible idea. Today happens to be John's 32nd birthday, so it looks like he got a head start on the celebrating.
