Posh Threatening to Sue the Pants Off R&R

Victoria split with Rock & Republic this fall so she could come out with her own fashion line. However now she's suing them because she feels her line made them more money than she previously estimated. Here's more:

The star claims Rock & Republic owe her the massive sum for "loss of earnings" and is briefing lawyers for legal action against the trendy LA-based label.

Her legal team are considering whether to launch a claim for up to 100million US dollars within days, either in the High Court in London or the United States.

A legal source said: "With the company based in the US, this is likely to be a long-running and complex legal battle if no agreement can be reached."

The star's agreement with the fashion firm, owned by designer Michael Ball, began when she signed up with them in September 2004. The deal is believed to have included a share of profits. It is claimed Victoria has so far been paid more than £500,0000.

She asked lawyers to get involved because she now believes her jeans range was much more profitable than previously thought.

If they paid her what they said they would it's going to be a hard case. But we aren't going to worry too much about Posh. If she really helped R&R that much, her new line should do just fine! The Ladies Choose Short at the Teen Choice Awards

Last night's Teen Choice Awards brought many lovely ladies onto the grass carpet. Short and sweet was the theme of the evening, with most of the stars choosing something perfect for the hot Summer day. Britney Spears and Fergie opted for embellished LBDs, while Kim Kardashian showed off her new hair color in a white number. Vanessa Hudgens went with pretty blue, while Kristen Stewart took a break from chilling with Robert Pattinson and continued with her Joan Jett rock-star look in her metal-fringed Rock & Republic frock. How did she sit in that dress?

Emma Roberts and Miley Cyrus accented their outfits with statement jewelry, while Audrina Patridge was all about purple with her dress and clutch. New York Fashion Week Celebrity Madness!

This weekend was busy between TIFF, VMAs and Stand Up 2 Cancer, but many celebs still found time to sit front row at their favorite designers shows to start picking out their new wardrobe and red carpet picks. John Legend and Mary-Kate sat front row at Rock and Republic, while Eva Longoria and Jennifer Lopez sat a seat away from one another in the front row of Diane Von Furstenberg where sexy sixties style beauty looks were strutting down the catwalk. Lindsay Lohan and Samantha were out to enjoy the Ronson family affair that included cool-girl chic beauty looks while Winona Ryder and Christina Ricci smiled big at Donna Karan.

Nicole Richie was also at DK looking adorable as she posed with the designer after the show. At the DVF show yellow was the hot color, which Rosario Dawson glowed in as well as Leighton Meester who was sharing the love with her also yellow wearing co-star Jessica Szohr. Leighton was everywhere during Fashion Week but looked especially beautiful in pink at the Julie Haus show. Ellen Pompeo sat front row at Y-3 and of course who can resist a little Anderson Cooper who also attended DVF (supposedly the most star studded show so far). Finally, Charlize was already spotted wearing red carpet attire to Fashion Rocks on Friday from the Rag and Bone's show earlier that day. Must be nice!

The Beckhams Expand Their Empire

While David is finishing up his time with Real Madrid, Victoria is busy with a new project of her own. She's expanding the DVB lifestyle brand to include denim. Victoria is no stranger to the jean business. She made a mint for Rock & Republic and is even suing them for her fair share. We're sure her line will be just as successful.

Tom & Katie - Love & Marriage

Maybe third times a charm for Tom. His fiance and mother of his child may finally become his wife in a matter of weeks. The couple are back on their PR love tour again. There have not been as many kisses but they are all smiles. Guess now that Suri is no longer in hiding they feel relieved. Here's more on their upcoming wedding:

Holmes friend Andrea Bernholtz, president of the Rock & Republic fashion line, tells Us Weekly, “All I really know is that the wedding is soon! They will surprise us all.”

Us has learned exclusively that after a 15-month engagement, the couple have finally set their wedding date. “It’s going to happen in the next three to six weeks,” a source close to the twosome tells Us.

Adds the couple’s rep, Arnold Robinson, “The wedding is still in the planning stages. They’re really excited about it. They have always said they will be married by the early fall, and they are still in that window. They can’t wait.”

Katie and Posh - BFF

Victoria is filling Katie in on how to marry up and continue to get pregnant to hold onto them. Of course David Beckham is in a whole other class than Tom Cruise - but they used to be on the same playing field before Cruise went crazy.

The ladies are at the Rock and Republic fashion show and this is Katie's first official outing since they announced their pregnancy. I think this is the first time she has been without Tom in public in months also.

There is hope Tomatie will relocate to Katie's hometown and if we're lucky they will go away for a while. It's so weird that I loved these celebrities so much before they got together and declared their love for each other around the world. Such a shame.

UPDATE: Posh freaked out at the show. The Lowdown reports:

...when she reportedly screamed at designer Michael Ball before being dragged away by security.
Lowdown hears that soccer god David Beckham's wife, the former Posh Spice - who designed a jean collection for the celeb-studded event - threw a backstage tantrum when Ball informed her that her signature pants, with a crown embroidered on the arse, were out of the show.

Finally - they get the attention they want in the US. The international superstars who are not huge in America are getting followed around LA everywhere. Victoria was in town promoting her Rock and Republic jean line at Kitson and then her and hottie hubby David were photographed all over town in a Porsche. It's amazing to see what the paparazzi will do to make sure they get you to look at their camera - do you see the guy holding the soccer ball? It's like bait for Beckham.
