Prince Harry Film in Development: Who Should Play Him?

A film about Prince Harry called The Spare is in development, with shooting due to start in a year in the UK and Middle East. Casting will begin in 2010, and director Peter Kosminsky has said he won't rule out Americans for the main part. Keira Knightley has taken the second spot in Forbes' annual study of the highest-paid Hollywood actresses, with her £16 million losing out to Cameron Diaz's £25 million. She is the only Briton to make the top ten in the actress or actors lists, but three of our young stars made it on to the "tweens" list - Daniel Radcliffe (how well do you know the birthday boy?) was top alongside Miley Cyrus, with costars Emma Watson and Rupert Grint taking joint sixth and joint eighth positions respectively. The Harry Potter effect was most evident in J K Rowling's position at the top of the Celebrity 100 list, thanks to the massive £150 million she took home last year. Just goes to show the pen can certainly be mighty.

Lewis Wins Despite Wet Weather

Lewis Hamilton won the British Grand Prix at the weekend, racing through some terrible weather to victory! A few celebs showed up for the event during this incredibly sport-filled weekend, including Rupert Grint who took a day off from all things Harry Potter to take in some world-class racing. A pair of lovely couples also attended to see Lewis take the trophy – Tess Daly and Vernon Kay who hosted a recent F1 party, and Gordon and Tana Ramsay, who enjoyed a family day out at the track. Big congratulations to Lewis, as this victory has taken him back to the joint lead in the world championship!

Celebrities Place Their Heads on the Chopping Block

Stars of the big and small screens were queueing up to place their head on the chopping block at the Jack The Ripper Experience Launch Party at the London Dungeon yesterday. Skins' Nicholas Hoult and Eastenders' Kara Tointon were both sporting new 'do's, while Harry Potter's Rupert Grint is always recognisable thanks to his hair. I have to admit to being pleased about Danny Dyer's appearance - I love his cheeky chappy cockney sparrow persona, but he looks a little scared here!

Jessica Changes Things Up

The cast of The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer headed to London for another premiere. Jessica Alba outshone her male co-stars on the blue carpet with help from a gorgeous gold gown. Alba's been talking quite a lot lately about being taken more seriously as an actress. In a recent interview with IGN she elaborates when asked if she's tired of being in fantastical blockbusters and if she'll be back for more. Here's more:

"Yeah, definitely. Not burnt out. That's not the way to put it. No, I love these movies. It's just completely different, you know? I try to change it up as much as possible. I did a physical comedy before I did Fantastic Four -- Good Luck Chuck -- that is coming out in August, and that was so very different to this movie or The Eye. So it's really just about changing it up and trying to get the best material for that genre that I could get."

Clearly she's had no problem finding work. Jessica will have plenty of chances to show off her acting skills in all these upcoming movies.
