Jay-Z Wears Medals and Talks Babies

Jay-Z tried on one of the only kinds of bling he can't buy - Olympic gold medals - at the 2008 Global Leadership Awards Gala in NYC last night. The three first place medals belonged to swimmer Ryan Lochte who we're so used to seeing without a shirt that the suit makes him hard to recognize. Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones joined the boys on the red carpet. Jay-Z was among the honorees last night and he talked about his recent trips to Africa being reward enough but also opened up a little bit about wanting a family saying, "Most people I guess dream of having a family some day, so I'm just a regular American boy." Before we get to see little J or B, he'll be hopping on a plane and heading to the Midwest soon to perform a free concert this Saturday in Michigan at a voter registration event offered by Barack Obama.

Another Round of Shows For Rachel, Diane, and Selma

Many more lovely ladies were out this afternoon to check out the scene at New York Fashion Week. Rachel Bilson was on hand for the second day in a row, sitting front row at Brian Reyes and stopping to chat with Fab. Diane Kruger, meanwhile, showed her support for Tommy Hilfiger just as she did last season, though this time she brought along Joshua Jackson. She posed for photos with Selma Blair before the show, linking up with the designer himself and his daughter Ally. The fashion fun ends tomorrow before moving on to London, but Fab and Bella will be bringing you all the news as the week wraps up.

Yesterday at New York Fashion Week some familiar front row faces hit the tents joined by newcomers to catch all the different shows. Jessica Alba looked glamorous even without baby Honor alongside Claire Danes and Julianna Margulies at Narciso Rodriguez, while Kelly Osbourne was full of smiles at Betsey Johnson. Natalie Portman went from the courts to the runways hitting up Derek Lam and was also spotted at Rodarte. Fab was particularly smitten with the Max Azria collection where Kim Raver, Malin Akerman, and Michelle Trachtenberg were front and center. There are a few days left of Bryant Park fun, so stay tuned for more of the gorgeous stars watching beautiful clothes.
