Sarah Michelle Gellar was happy to pose while filming her latest Maybelline ad outside Pastis in NYC yesterday. Naturally, her hair and make-up looked tre bella, but what I'm really impressed with is her ability to ride that pink pink bike in those high high heels. I suppose that's why she's allowed multiple takes.

SMG and Maria Shop Lucky

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Maria Menounos were among the lucky (heh) VIPs at Lucky Magazine's 4th Annual Lucky Shops party in NYC last night. Say that five times fast. Lucky! SMG looked adorable (and young) all blonde in her LBD out for the shopping extravaganza. We know she loves a good bargain so it's no wonder why she jumped right on this VIP event. I'm sure all these Lucky-loving ladies snatched up some great deals at the sale. Good times.

SMG & FPJ Fly From LAX to NYC. Yay!

Sarah Michelle and Freddie (now with hats!) didn't pack light for their trip from LA to NYC for the Tribeca Film Festival this week. Sarah's movie, Suburban Girl, is set to premiere there this Friday (I'm curious to see whether Mr. Baldwin shows up for that one) so a girl's gotta have options. These pics definitely do not solve the mystery of the last time we saw SMG with that slightly suspicious bikini body, but I have a feeling a weekend of public events will clear up any rumors of pregnancy -- whether she is or not. I'm going with not, but we shall see.

SMG Would Not Be A Good Porn Star

Sarah Michelle Gellar talks about her experience playing a porn star in the film Southland Tales in the November issue of Glamour Magazine. The film also stars Seann William Scott, JT and The Rock. We already know she has a steamy scene with Dwayne Johnson and she didn't even recognize JT on the set. Here are some highlights from the Glamour article:

"When you look at me, you think, 'I know - porn star!' it's sort of like a calling." She pauses for comic effect then answers the question honestly. "Seriously, it was mortifying! Just mortifying!"

She took the role because it was so interesting. "I've known Dwayne for a long time and we thought, how funny would it be if we were a couple in a movie? It would be like the midget and the giant! Then I got this script and I sent it to him immediately."

"Dwayne and I were giggling the whole time! The first time we did a kissing scene, he was shirtless and I was wearing this ridiculous black negligee with Marabou heels, and they decided to move the scene out onto the balcony so they could see the water behind us. And of course there were paparazzi outside. So we closed our eyes and went for it. The only way to stop laughing was to get into character because otherwise we'd never have got through the scene!"

Doesn't sound so mortifying if they couldn't stop laughing. However, it also doesn't sound like SMG would be able to take on the role of being a porn star for real. Anyway, SMG looks super sophisticated and very not porn star-like. To see what I mean just read more

SMG is Blind

Sarah Michelle Gellar stopped by TRL to promote her new film The Grudge. She was also on Regis and Kelly. She sure seems to be doing a lot of press for a movie she is in for only "a total of about five minutes." But don't worry. SMG is not hurting for work. She has five films in the can! She's been so busy that she even failed to notice Justin Timberlake on the set of Southland Tales! She says:

I didn't even recognize him the first day. Seann William Scott was in the trailer, and he introduced me to "his friend Justin," and I thought, Wow, you look so familiar. I probably should have put it together, but he was just this guy hanging out with Seann. He has no airs about him.

He may not have airs, but that doesn't mean he had a bag over his head. I'm sorry, but how could you not recognize JT? I guess when you're married to a cutie like Freddie Prinze Jr. you literally cannot see other men. More pics of SMG acting goofy on TRL yesterday so read more

SMG and Freddie Hit the Waves Surfing

Sarah Michelle ~~Gellar~~ Prinze and Freddie must have gotten the memo that Hawaii is the place to be - the couple was spotted hitting the waves on New Year's Eve. Methinks they may have kissed their way into the new year despite some bumps and bruises from a day trying to surf. Hey, at least they both got up on the boards; nice job guys! While it looks like SMG could have left the non-waterproof mascara at home, at least she was in the right gear to keep herself from any embarrassing slip ups. How cute is Freddie laughing at her?

SMG Talks To Self About Herself

Sarah Michelle Gellar is looking fabulous on the cover of the October issue of Self Magazine. She's always been one of Hollywood's more petite stars, but in the article she gives a sneak peek at her eating habits - and it's not what you'd expect. SMG is also full of surprises in the interview, revealing that she's a lot more down-to-earth than you'd think. Here's more:

On her bike:
"Not only is it bright pink with the bell and streamers and the whole thing, but it has Hello Kitty tires. Every time I leave my apartment, my doorman just shakes his head."

On shopping:
"I take my reusable bag to Whole Foods, so I get a discount. I go to Bloomingdale's on double-reward days. And I always print my dry cleaning coupons before I go."

On her love for thank-you notes:
"I write them for everything, because I know how I feel when I get one in the mail. I'm a gadget person, but I don't e-mail. E-mail is for 'What time is the flight?' I do it myself. It's my writing on the envelope, and I buy the stamps."

It sounds like SMG hasn't let Hollywood go to her head. Between her good eye for a bargain and love for long meals, SMG sounds just like a fun girlfriend.

SMG Is Not Carrying Plastic Bags

Sarah Michelle Gellar was spotted looking adorable walking into Trader Joe's in LA yesterday and it looks like she was bringing her own bags to carry the groceries out with (though I will say those look like Whole Foods bags not TJ ones -- aaaand I'm a loser). Too bad she didn't have her Anya Hindmarch to go with the theme. It's nice to see that not only is SMG getting some good food, but she's environmentally conscious about it. Plus, I would definitely like to think that she's stocking up on some award winning Two Buck Chuck for her and Freddie!

Shocker: SMG Continues To Be Cute

Sarah Michelle Gellar looked gorgeous and fresh faced, if a little unhappy, out and about in London after her big Harrods event earlier in the week. I've loved SMG since her cult hit tv show (and personal favorite) Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but she is cuter than ever these days. I throw around the cute, but that is saying something considering how adorable she's always been. Now, if only she had her equally cute husband Freddie by her side.

SMG Appreciates A Good Sale

Sarah Michelle Gellar went for a high-waisted jumpsuit at the launch of Harrods summer sale in London this weekend. Her coat was a-m-a-z-i-n-g but we're thinking she should have kept it on. Tell fab what you think, do you love it or hate it? As for the shopaholic, SMG was eager to be among the first to hit up the sale, saying, "I've had a sneak peek and I can tell you there is some serious shopping to be done. I hope you won't mind if I beat you to it." We're still confused as to why Harrods kicks off their sales with a celebrity appearance but we do end up writing about it so I guess they win.
