Sam's Trial Reveals Britney Feels Like a Prisoner to Her Dad

While Britney Spears keeps working on her tour, her old bad-influence boys are still making trouble in LA. Sam Lutfi had a hearing this morning to try and lift the restraining order against him. His sister testified that she met Britney at a sauna in January to smuggle her the prepaid phone. Brit apparently revealed she "felt like a prisoner," was "afraid of her father," and wanted a new lawyer.

This is around the time Britney supposedly left the message about her dad's threats, though Jamie's lawyer doubts the authenticity of the leaked voicemail. In the end, Sam's restraining order was extended until April 21, when closing arguments will be heard.

Restraining Order Claims Sam Drugged Britney

Last Friday, Britney's father Jamie filed a restraining order against Sam Lutfi on Brit's behalf and today the details of the court order were revealed. The list of allegations against Sam are terrifying and explosive, to say the least, much of it hinging around Lynne Spears' claim that he was feeding Britney drugs without her knowing it. TMZ has the full restraining order, including a litany of specific examples of ways that Sam has manipulated Britney by degrading her, drugging her and trying to control every aspect of her life. Some of the claims from Lynne's testimony include:

"Mr. Lutfi has essentially moved into Britney's home and has purported to take control of her life, home and finances."
"He has cut Britney's home phone line and removed her cell phone chargers. He yells at her. He claims to control everything - Britney's business manager, her attorneys, and the security guards at the gate."
He called Britney "an unfit mother," "a piece of trash" and a "wh*re."
Sam "disabled all of Britney's cars" other than the one he gave paparazzo Filipe to get her out of the house.
Lynne on Sam: "Sam bragged to me that he is the one who receives Britney's checks." She says Sam claimed that if he didn't give Brit her medicine, "she would kill herself. Then he said to me, 'If you try to get rid of me, she'll be dead and I'll piss on her grave.'"
Sam allegedly said: "I sleep in cars outside her house so she can't leave" To her parents: "You people throw everyone under the bus. If you don’t listen to me, I’m going to make your name s*** in the papers."

About the night of January 28: "Britney then became very agitated and couldn't stop moving...She cleaned the house. She changed her clothes many times. She also changed her three dogs' clothes many times...Britney spoke to me in a tone with the level of understanding of a very young girl. Britney then picked up a bottle of pills and read part of the label and asked us, 'What does insomnia mean?' Sam told her that the pills will help her stay awake."
Lynne on Sam grinding up Britney's pills to put in her food: "He told us that the doctor who is treating her now is trying to get her into a sleep-induced coma so that they could then give her drugs to heal her brain."
A conversation between Sam and Britney: "When do I get to see my babies?" and Sam responded, "Wednesday." Britney supposedly asked, "What do I have to do to see them?" and Lynne claims Sam answered, "Take the pills I tell you to take...If I told you to take 10 pills a day, you should do what I tell you to see your babies."

Lynne also said that Adnan tried to warn her about Sam, though who knows how trustworthy Adnan is either. Also, there is the scary story that this isn't the first time Sam has taken advantage of and manipulated a fragile "friend." Sam has not yet been served with the restraining order since he refuses to open the door of his apartment and had phone contact with Brit over the weekend. While these are still all just allegations, if even any of them are true, hopefully he will stay away from Britney, her family and anyone who he tries to treat like this ever again. And hopefully Brit herself figured out that she needs to get as far away from Sam Lutfi as possible.

Judge Awards Brit's Dad Control, Restraining Order Against Sam

As an overwhelming majority of you seemed to think is the right call, this afternoon the judge named Britney Spears' father, Jamie, as her legal guardian. This means he has control over her assets and legal matters. Jamie shares the responsibility with lawyer Andrew Wallet, so as to have an unbiased independent party involved. This ruling is only temporary and will be reevaluated at a hearing on Monday.

The other upshot from today's hearing is a restraining order against "someone" to stay away from Britney. While it's not explicitly stated, the person in question is Sam Lutfi. The order lasts 22 days after which Britney's parents (assuming they're still in charge) can make it indefinite. Considering he was calling her family "crazy" just this morning, methinks he'll have an angry thing or two to say about all this.

Britney's on a Roll of Doing Right!

After her fun-filled weekend spending time with her paparazzi buddies, Britney Spears headed to the dance studio to work on the intense choreography for her next video, "Hot as Ice." She was spotted at the studio talking in her finest British accent and denying she even knows Adnan. The good news is she was getting back to work instead of partying. She's even scored the cover of Blender magazine's March issue. One reporter was required to follow her behavior for a month, which should make for an interesting article. However, the most promising news of the day is that Britney has shown up to her deposition. TMZ reports that Brit was at the offices of Mark Vincent Kaplan, K-Fed's attorney, this morning. That's a good sign she actually wants her babies back. Now if only she can stay away from that Adnan and concentrate on work and family, then we'll be all good with Brit again.

UPDATE - apparently Brit spent over 2 hours at the deposition but she has officially left the building in "good spirits." Finally a little normalcy from the pop star.

Is Sam Lutfi Bad News For Britney?

Lately it seems like a rare moment when we catch Britney Spears without her new favorite BFF/manager Sam Lutfi. Something about him has always felt a bit off and apparently Sam also comes with some baggage, not to mention a record. Us Weekly reports that Lutfi has had two restraining orders against him and even has multiple aliases. Sounds a little shady to us, but what do you think - is Sam Lutfi bad news for Britney?

Britney's Taking Her Tour to Europe Far Away From Sam Lutfi

Britney Spears has been busily making her way around the country on her Circus tour and she's not ready to stop yet. Yesterday she announced that she will be taking it international this Summer with stops so far scheduled around Europe in June and July.

While Britney was performing in Chicago yesterday, one of her legal battles was being dealt with back in LA. The restraining order against Sam Lutfi and a lawyer who claimed to be Britney's attorney was extended for three more years. Hopefully this means good riddance to Sam once and for all, but he always seems to find a way to weasel himself back into her life.

Both stories are good news for Brit who continues to look fantastic up on stage in front of thousands of her fans almost every night.

Britney's Boys Miss Her While She's Away

Britney Spears had Jayden James in her arms yesterday at the Park Hyatt in Paris, and they both looked sad to leave each other when she dropped him and Sean Preston off at Kevin Federline's hotel there this morning. She's headed to Belgium tonight for her next show, while back in LA her former friend Sam Lutfi continues to file lawsuits against her family. Luckily, Brit is far from the drama and can focus on sightseeing with her sons while she's overseas.

Britney Spears Obtains a Restraining Order Vs. Sam and Adnan

In another step to keep Britney on the right track, her lawyers got restraining orders today against her ex-manager, Sam Lutfi, her ex-boyfriend/paparazzo, Adnan Ghalib, and attorney Jon Eardley. Apparently Spears asked her father who is still her conservatorship to protect her from them. TMZ reports:

In another document, one of the conservatorship lawyers claims "Mr. Lutfi has sent text messages and instant messages that contain false and hurtful allegations concerning Mr. Spears, Ms. Spears, and the Spears family." The lawyer continues, "Mr. Lutfi, Adnan Ghalib, and Jon Eardley sought unsuccessfully to induce an attorney to file false statements with the court."

The papers make it clear...."Over the past month, Ms. Spears has had numerous telephone conversations with both Mr. Lutfi and Mr. Ghalib and has exchanged numerous text messages with both of them." But we're told now Brit is so mad at them she wants them locked up.

Jamie Spears had issued restraining orders against Lutfi before but it expired in July. Things have been going so well for Britney and considering she wants to concentrate on her boys and her upcoming tour, keeping these men away from Britney as long as possible sounds like a great idea for all.

Britney's Dramatic, Teary Night Struggling With Her Men

It was another messy and confusing evening at the Spears compound on a day when we learned the good news that she can speak to her boys on the phone. While there are differing reports about what exactly went down last night, here's the latest I can piece together. At about 6 p.m., Britney got in a fight in the car with her friend Sam Lutfi - something to do with her family and maybe because he felt the need to tell Barbara Walters that she's getting treatment for her mental problems. She apparently got out of the vehicle close to her house and had a bit of a breakdown on the sidewalk. She called Adnan, but he was not allowed in her gated community because Sam gave the security explicit instructions not to let him in.

She ended up at home briefly and the LAPD were called to deal with the paparazzi. Her parents showed up to try to talk to her, but she ended up splitting the scene with one of her photographer friends. She made a quick trip to Ralph's grocery store before catching up with her boy toy Adnan and hopping in his car instead. There were many tears shed, but at least both her parents are in the mix this time rather than just her two shady men that hate each other. At one point Sam claimed that the cops were after Adnan for trying to break into Britney's house, but Adnan released a statement through his photo agency giving his side of the story. Ugh, what a mess. I don't even know what else to say.

Anyone who claims that to be the case has been severely misinformed.

The truth is that Sam Lutfi started an argument with Britney and the two ended up in a screaming fight. Sam continued to verbally abuse Britney as she sat barefoot on the curb at her Summit home crying holding her dog London.

Britney called Adnan for help and he heard the distress in her voice and drove to the Summit immediately. While outside the gates he was denied access as Sam Lutfi had informed the guards that he was not allowed entry. When Adnan then tried to call Britney it seems that Sam had turned all of her cell phones off.

Britney is safe with paparazzi photographer Felipe from Fame at the moment.
