Paris and Doug Aim For the A-List With Bravo

Despite living on the D-List, Kathy Griffin hosted the Bravo A-List awards in LA last night. Her recent shopping partner Paris Hilton attended with future husband (for now) Doug Reinhardt on her arm. Jenny McCarthy and Tori Spelling looked ready for spring in their short dresses while Kim Kardashian stayed on her trend of keeping it classy. Rachel Zoe, whose show we can't wait to see return, also attended, as did pregnant Ana Ortiz. The festivities got frisky and even included a goo-covered Kathy, though the fun won't be on air until April 15.

Disturbia held the top spot at the Box Office this weekend at $13.5 mil while Fracture came in at #2 and Vacancy debuted at #4. We already told you Adam Brody's film barely made the top 10 but to be honest, we just wanted another reason to post a picture of Shia - BuzzSugar

Mr. Malakar Goes To Washington

Sanjaya Malakar may have been voted off American Idol last week, but it doesn't look like we're free of him just yet. The teenager was selected by People Magazine to attend the White House Correspondents' Dinner, along with lots of celebs and politicians. The event had a less comical tone than usual due to the VA Tech tragedy, but Sanjaya still got his first taste of fame, rubbing elbows with the likes of Teri Hatcher and Petra Nemcova. Here's more:

The mild-mannered Malakar, meanwhile, told PEOPLE he's just trying to take it all in. "It's been really a whirlwind. I've just been trying to ride the wave and go one day at a time," said Malakar, wearing a dark pinstriped suit and highlighted, loose curls.

The swooning fans made him "a little uncomfortable," he admitted. But it's attention he may have to get used to as he sets his sights on a future beyond music. "I want to go into acting or modeling, maybe Broadway," said the former Idol, who thinks doing a hair commercial "Would be awesome!"

We were happy to see Sanjaya get the boot from AI, but it's good to see that he's stopped crying and is seeing Idol as a positive experience. Plus, Jennifer Hudson and Chris Daughtry still made it big without the big win, so you never know (but please say it isn't so).

Sugar Bits - Sanjaya Now Hiring a Bodyguard

Sanjaya loves his fans, but he's hiring a bodyguard to keep the Fanjayas from getting too close. He's also slated to be a guest at an upcoming White House Correspondents Dinner. Guess getting booted from Idol isn't such a bad gig after all! - E! Online, Fox News

American Idol Season 6: Sayonara Sanjaya

Finally! Sanjaya has finally been booted!!! Happy Idol days are here again. Looks like all that campaigning by vote for the worst, Howard Stern and more were not powerful enough to convince America to force us to watch someone who should have been gone weeks ago. We were a little upset to see Blake in the bottom three but thankfully he was spared elimination. We did expect to see Simon address the eye roll and we're glad he did. Just makes us love him even more. The most exciting part of the night for me was trying to predict who the most amazing duet will be next week on Idol. My dream duo (since Molly and I were going back and forth on the very important topic at hand over IM last night while watching the episode) is Bono and Madonna. I have a feeling Bono is definitely involved but not sure who the other half is. I am so curious. Tell us, who do you think the surprise duet will be? American Idol Season 6 "Incredible" Sanjaya

The joke that is Sanjaya is still going. Even poor Simon knows he has been defeated by America thanks to Vote for the Worst, Howard Stern and many more who want to see the NOT worthy contestant win the show. I like how Simon changed his approach and gave Sanjaya an "incredible" review. As for last night, I was actually impressed by Timberfake, Chris Richardson. It was the first time I really enjoyed him. Beatbox Blake was fine but for having chosen one of the best songs of the evening, he should have been better. Once again, Melinda was my favorite and Lakisha was a hit! Gina and Haley still bore me to death. Simon was right that Haley has great legs but other than that she is not entertaining and that green dress was beyond cheesy. She should be eliminated just for wearing it. As for my predictions on the bottom three, Phil Stacey, Gina and Haley although we know we all really want Sanjaya to be in that group as well but he'll be safe.
