Keira Doesn't Want To Know What You Think

Keira Knightley combined the latest trends with Ray Ban classics as she arrived in Venice yesterday. She wore a beautiful dress for the photocall of her period peice Atonement which opened up the Venice Film Festival. The buzz has already started about her performance but that being said, Keira does all that she can to avoid reading what the media has to say about her, for better or for worse. She said,

"Once you become famous you get completely dehumanized. I think people forget there is a person in there trying to deal with it. Partly the way you deal with it is by not reading, not looking and seeing any of it and burying your head in the sand. It is the only path to sanity."

We know Keira has dealt with some pretty bad backlash from the media about her weight, so we don't blame her for wanting to stay away from it. We just hope it doesn't make her quit acting altogether, because we'd miss her on the big screen.

Winners (and Non) Raise a Glass at the Governors Ball

Whether they won or lost last night, the nominees got together after the Awards for the Governors ball. George and Sarah stuck to water while he made the rounds introducing her to everyone. He was also happy to point out to everyone how good she looked (though you might not agree) and offered to carry her when she commented about her dress being too heavy. Sigh. Casey didn't walk away with a statue but still came to the party, while other also-rans Viggo and Cate had a moment over her pregnant belly. By the end of the party, I'm sure all the a-listers were ready to get out of the formal wear. The Ladies Shine in Their Dresses and Jewels at the Oscars

You all were really looking forward to the red carpet portion of the Oscars and last night so it's a good thing the rain didn't stop any of these ladies from dressing to the nines. Mommies-to-be Cate Blanchett and Jessica Alba both picked shades of purple, while Anne Hathaway and Heidi Klum were just a few of the many that sizzled in red. Ellen Page got girly with her spaghetti straps and long necklace while Nicole Kidman was one of the many sporting some serious knockout bling. Penelope Cruz and Jennifer Garner looked flawless (no surprises here) on the film noir bandwagon, while Cameron Diaz was a breath of fresh air in her pretty pink gown. You're loving Heidi's look the most but be sure to vote on all of Fab and Bella's other fun polls.
