Jay-Z Is the Man of the After Hour

After the Kanye show at MSG last night, Jay-Z kept the party going at 1Oak in NYC. While his lady was spotted leaving the show, there was no sign of her in the party. Perhaps she stayed away from the party scene for a reason? Just a thought. Besides Jay's buddy Diddy, the party was full of the same crowd from the EW post-upfronts bash. Can't blame the former top models and current/future TV stars for wanting to keep celebrating their shows all night long.

Fashion Week Starts Off With a Big (Red) Bang

Today is National Red Day, and the runway at NY Fashion Week certainly reflected that. Jenna Fischer and Sara Ramirez were happy to add a modeling gig to their resumes for the good cause, alongside seasoned veteran Heidi Klum at the Heart Truth Red Dress Collection fashion show. Chris Noth looked a little confused over at the Nautica show, but maybe he was just blinded by all the beautiful ladies and designs. Project Runway's Christian was there to check out the fierce looks coming from Perry Ellis before the big PR show next week, which lucky girls Fab and Bella get to go to. Heigl Talks Golden Globes, Plus WGA-Award Nomination

The stars of Grey's Anatomy were out picketing in support of their writers (or former writers, as the case may be, Isaiah Washington?) yesterday. This morning was a bittersweet one for the show, as it was nominated for two Golden Globes - Best Dramatic Series as well as Heigl for Best Supporting Actress. Naturally, Heigl spoke to Entertainment Tonight about what this means. She said, "I'm not crossing the picket line - not unless I'm contractually obliged to do so - which the Golden Globes I'm not." In brighter Writers Guild news, they just released their nominees for this year's WGA Awards and while Grey's didn't pick up any nods, some great and very deserving shows did. Ojai, Kate Walsh's Wedding!

It was a hot hot day at Ojai Presbyterian Church for Kate Walsh's wedding on Saturday. I'm surprised that she had her custom Monique Lhuillier gown made with sleeves! At least it was a sunny California day as she married her fiancé Alex. Katherine Heigl looked gorgeous among the wedding guests as did Kate Beckinsale in her sassy LBD. Meanwhile, hey ~~Jimmy Cooper~~ Tate Donovan, haven't seen you for a while. While Kate looks a little stressed in some of these pictures, hopefully she had the most amazing day ever - and that they find some time to sneak away for a honeymoon before she gets back to her Private Practice.

It's Getting Hot in Hollywood

Young TV stars aplenty came out Saturday night in LA for the second annual Hot in Hollywood party. Among the beautiful faces were representatives from all our favorite shows - from Ugly Betty and Heroes to Grey's Anatomy and My Name Is Earl. There were definitely plenty of lucky Emmy nominees in the bunch. As expected, a few of the girls went with the LBD for the soiree, but America's hot little number took the cake. Absent from the party was Heroes most recent addition - the adorable Kristen Bell who has signed on to guest star in season two. Yay for fall television, the only fun thing about the end of summer.

Kate Walsh's Bachelorette Weekend in Vegas

This weekend Grey's Anatomy's Sara Ramirez helped her ex-co-star Kate Walsh celebrate her last days of being a bachelorette with friends at Tao. Looks like they had a blast based on these pictures! The women spent the weekend gambling, sunning, working out and partying. People reports :

After a quick workout, the actress then got a surprise in her hotel room: a visit from two male strippers.

Later, continuing their Vegas blitz, the ladies were spotted dining on sushi rolls, lobster wontons and Kobe beef at Tao Restaurant. "You could tell they were all really content. Kate looked really happy and couldn't stop smiling," an onlooker said.

"Sara (Ramirez) even got on the table and started dancing," the source said. "Everyone was laughing and clapping."

Sounds like Kate's friends threw her a perfectly wild bachelorette weekend. Good to know the ladies of Seattle Grace don't take themselves as seriously as their on-screen counterparts do.

Celebs Love Playboy And Puppies

An interesting assortment of celebrities headed to the Playboy mansion this weekend for the Much Love Animal Rescue Benefit. Hef himself was nowhere to be seen, but Haylie & Hilary Duff were there keeping up their philanthropic sides. Unfortunately it looks like Hilary left her two dogs at home, though that red carpet puppy is pretty adorable, too. Meanwhile, Bob Saget and Lori Loughlin had a mini Full House reunion - no sign of MK & Ashley, boo. We have to say though that the puppies stole the show and won our hearts - any celebrity looks good cuddling up to one of those cute doggies.

Kate Walsh Gets Engaged Therefore Missing McSteamy's McHealthy Cover

We were just about to post this Grey's party when US Weekly reported that Kate Walsh got engaged!?! Seriously, WTF? Hasn't she only been with this guy for like a month? How convenient that ABC just announced their fall line up today. Perhaps Ms Kate is looking to keep her name in the headlines with this announcement. As for the rest of the Grey's cast, well, they were showing their support for Eric Dane who was celebrating his May cover of Men's Health at Tenjune last night. He was looking fabulous as usual with his wife Rebecca Gayheart right by his side. We don't blame her for keeping close - they don't call him McSteamy for nothing. Ellen, Sara and Justin Chambers were there as well. Who knows, maybe he'll be on the cover next!

The odd thing about Kate's announcement is that US Weekly has mysteriously already removed the story from their site. We however have a screen shot of the announcement so for more pics of the cast and Kate's big news just read more

Jessica Alba Steps Up

Jessica Alba may be making $5 mil on her Revlon ad but she still knows how important it is to give back. Last night she helped host an event for Step Up Women's Network, a nonprofit organization dedicated to working towards improving the community for women and girls. Sara Ramirez was one of three women who were honored for her charity and philanthropy. Sara and Grey's co-star Kate Walsh shined in their fabulous dresses, even with Kate's unfortunate bangs.

Katherine Gets Nautical While Costars Sing Her Praises

Over the weekend Katherine didn't look like she had a care in the world while on a shoot for Nautica at Seal Beach. She's obviously making a little cash on the side since she's not too happy with her current salary at Grey's. Things blew up last week after ABC and Touchstone went public with their side of negotiations but evidently what happens off the set is not affecting Katherine's relationships with her co-stars. At least not with Kate Walsh or Sara Ramirez. The two came to Katherine's defense this week and said that she's not allowing it to affect her work. Here's more:

She's a super-talented girl," Kate Walsh told PEOPLE on Sunday at the National Association of Black Female Executives in Music and Entertainment Dreamgirls luncheon in Beverly Hills. "Everyone's just working hard."

As for contract renegotiations Walsh, whose character Addison Shepard is the subject of a possible Grey's spinoff, said, " I literally just worked with Katherine the other night. We just go to work. I don't know – I don't really get into all the stuff. Everybody is doing their own thing with negotiations."

One of Heigl's other costars, Sara Ramirez, says of the actress who plays Izzie Stevens on the hit ABC show, "She's lovely....Everybody's very professional – not just Katherine – but everybody else too."

We wouldn't doubt that Katherine would be professional about the whole thing through and through. Sounds like things are starting to settle down on the set which is a good thing since the off set drama is starting to outshine the actual show itself.
