Jack and Morgan Carry Their Bucket List to LA

Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman came out in LA last night to premiere their new sweetheart buddy film The Bucket List. In the movie, they play men from very different walks of life who are both terminally ill and embark on a series of adventures they've always wanted to do before they "kick the bucket." The boys were joined by friends Billy Crystal, John Mayer (who isn't one to miss a red carpet these days) and their pint-sized costar Taylor Ann Thompson. Oh, and in case anyone is still curious, this movie is the reason why Jack showed off that completely shaved head at last year's Oscars. The Bucket List comes out Christmas day and looks like it might be a perfectly (and possibly overly) saccharine holiday treat.

Desperate Housewives Desperate Again

Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Brad Garrett announced the 58th annual Primetime Emmy award nominations this morning and the big talk is all about how the Desperate Housewives and Lost were left out of the best series nominations. In fact, the only housewife to get a nom was Alfre Woodard. As for those who were Academy favorites this year, 24 got 12 noms, Grey's Anatomy got 11 and Will & Grace received 10. Also kudos to Lisa Kudrow for being nominated for The Comeback. Maybe now HBO will realize that was a show they should have held on to.

The Awards are scheduled to air Aug. 27 on NBC, with Conan O'Brien as host of the Shrine Auditorium ceremony. To see all of the nominees, read more

Britney On The Small Screen

We told you she was serious about transitioning to acting. New reports are saying Britney is in discussions to join in a new show with Will & Grace star Sean Hayes. Here's more:

The 24-year-old attended the meeting to talk about a role in an ensemble sitcom about teachers, tentatively titled Detention.

During the two-hour meeting in late February, the â€œToxicâ€? singer read lines from a script and confessed she was "aching to give acting a go," according to Us Weekly magazine.

Could be a good career change for her but I am used to watching her perform on stage so hopefully she would come back and do it all. Here's a cute pic of Brit and Kevin from their recent Dallas trip.

Britney Heads to Primetime

Britney Spears is guest starring on NBC's Will and Grace. This is a great move for Brit who needs to slowly make her way back in to America's heart as a real star. She will film her cameo in February and appear as a guest in Jack's talk show. Here's more details:

In what will be Britneyâ€™s first primetime television episodic appearance, she guest-stars as a Christian conservative sidekick to Jack (Sean Hayes) on the episode â€œJack Talk,â€? set to air on Thursday, April 13.

In the episode, when â€œOut TVâ€? is bought by a Christian Television Network, Spears is brought on to be Jackâ€™s new religious co-hostâ€”until Will (Eric McCormack) and Jack loosen her up.

Britney brings her own additions to the talk show when she decides to do a cooking segment called â€œCruci-fixinâ€™s.â€?

We hope she continues to get herself cleaned up and all pretty for her guest appearance. This show does a great job of making big stars have fun and look fabulous on the small screen. We hope Britney can pull it off like Cher, Madonna, Matt Damon, Elton John, Demi Moore and Michael Douglas.
