Natalie, Tobey, and Amanda Bring Family to See Brothers

Natalie Portman in brilliant blue stole the spotlight last night at a screening of Brothers in NYC. One of her two leading men, Tobey Maguire, joined her on the red carpet along with his wife Jennifer Meyer, though Jake Gyllenhaal missed the event. Amanda Peet was right by her husband David Benioff's side, supporting his latest screenwriting effort. Natalie was caught up in New Moon mania last week, but yesterday was all about her own upcoming project - check out the moving trailer before its release on December 4.

Leighton Meester Gives Her Vocal Chords a Night Off

Leighton Meester and boyfriend Sebastian Stan were side by side as they arrived together at a benefit for the NYC Public Library last night. The duo doesn't appear in public together often, but we've see a great deal of them both this season on Gossip Girl. Sebastian's character Carter is off the series for now, so he wasn't on last night's WTF moment-filled episode, though it did feature the usual tech, fashion, and beauty fun. Leighton has been busy off screen focusing on her music, including her weekend fun onstage with Weezer, and we'll soon get to see the video for her crowd-pleasing first single when it comes out next week.

Basterds Hits NYC With Help From Diane, LL, Chace and More

It was another star-studded evening celebrating Inglourious Basterds at a screening in NYC last night. Quentin Tarantino and the movie's stars - minus Brad Pitt, who is apparently back in France with his family - gathered with some celebrity friends at the Cinema Society event. Lindsay Lohan, who has been working with Quentin's friend Robert Rodriguez on Machete, hit the red carpet, as did Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford and Sebastian Stan. Diane Kruger was once again one of the boys with the mostly male cast. This weekend's NY Times put a lot of pressure on this movie to help salvage the reputation of the Weinstein Company and this weekend we'll see if all the promotion from Diane, Brad, Eli, BJ, Quentin and more is enough to lure people out to see the ambitious film.

The cast of Gossip Girl was joined by special guest star Tyra Banks yesterday while filming scenes in NYC. Leighton Meester cuddled up to her real-life boyfriend Sebastian Stan between takes, looking happy despite recently having to nix the sex tape rumors. Newbie Hilary Duff wore a familiar dress as she worked with Penn Badgley, while Blake Lively brought her puppy Penny along again. Ed Westwick was also on hand looking dapper as always, while speculation continues about his off-camera relationship with Jessica Szohr.

Emile and Claire Take Woodstock to NYC

Claire Danes stepped out in NYC on Wednesday night for the premiere of Taking Woodstock. Her usual red carpet sidekick, Hugh Dancy, was off promoting his own movie Adam, but she was joined by a few other leading men. Liev Schreiber and Sebastian Stan posed for photos without their own partners, Naomi and Leighton, while Emile Hirsch brought along his lady friend Brianna. Flowers were the accessory of the evening for the hippie-era flick, as the peace and love flowed right down the red carpet.

Chris Brown was snapped passing by the restaurant, though her rep denied rumors of a reunion after the two after spent the weekend in the same hotel. At the show, Rih danced and sang along to the music as she sat next to Donald and Melania Trump. Katy hosted an afterparty at Club Griffin where the girls posed for pictures with lollipops and Mickey Rourke danced on a table with a blonde. It looks like everyone had a great time as the woman of the hour partied the night away with her famous friends and Barbados bikini buddy.

The Gossip Girl Train Is Full Steam Ahead

Fresh off his shirtless trip to Miami with Jessica Szohr, Ed Westwick was back in NYC on Thursday and posing with his on-screen nemesis Sebastian Stan at a screening of The Education of Charlie Banks. The next day his cast mates were back to work on the set of Gossip Girl, though Leighton and Blake were looking a little more casual than what we're used to seeing on Blair and Serena. The warmer weather may be a reminder that the second season will be winding down soon, but for now we're looking forward to the new episodes while they last.
