Kellan Cozies Up to Ashley and Rachelle in the Pages of Self

Kellan Lutz looked cuddly in his sweaters with Ashley Greene and Rachelle Lefevre for a photo shoot in November's Self. Ashley stayed a little more covered up in these photos than her recent turn in Men's Fitness, saying about her style, "Classic meets sexy is the style I like. I spice up simple clothes with a great purse or shoes." Rachelle won't be reprising her role as Victoria in Eclipse, but she'll still be out to promote New Moon with the rest of the cast. She also chatted about her eclectic fashion, "I’ll wake up and say, 'I feel like a hippie today. Or a rocker.' My boyfriend teases me that I have costumes." Katharine Shows Off Her Tight Body

Katharine McPhee showed off her assets in this cute midnight blue dress at a Hollywood's Tightest Bodies party last night. The party, sponsored by Self Magazine, of which Katherine is April's cover model, and VH1, was to celebrate the upcoming TV special on the Tight Bodied Stars. Katharine has clearly come a long way with her self image, and it's great to see her out supporting healthy living. She looked like she had a blast partying the night away with fellow revelers Eve, Molly Sims and Vanessa Minnillo.

Now there is word that Jessica has pulled out of posing as the cover girl for Self magazine. While the magazine has nothing but love for Jess and say that her schedule was too busy, there is speculation that she backed out because she's uncomfortable with all the scrutiny. Kellan is known for his buff body, but he's also shown off his sensitive side all cuddly for Self magazine and when he's gushing about his pup.

Jennifer Garner Talks About Her Summer-Lovin' Self

Jennifer Garner is the portrait of summertime, posing in her warm weather clothes poolside for Self magazine. We've been missing our cute Garner-Affleck family fix, but it's great to see Jen looking so fresh-faced and happy. The article shares more of her sunshine, as she talks about spending the season with Violet at her beloved farmers markets. Here are highlights:

On her favorite season: "What's not to love about summer? I love all the fruit that's available. I love the farmers' market. I love that everybody relaxes a little more. You can feel it in their face and demeanor. People leave work a little earlier."
On if the warm weather motivates her to work out: "Of course! You're in a bikini! In the winter, you feel like, Who cares? I'm in my husband's sweater. It doesn't matter. But in May, everybody kicks it into gear."
On whether motherhood has affected her vacation style: "Totally. It's all about experiencing fun. A lot of it is having fun through this other person. I just gave Violet's babysitter a week off because I wanted to stay home and be with her and not be available to anyone else, and it was great. She and I loved it. We got to cook and make banana bread together."

Sounds like Jen is ready to jump past Spring and head right into the Summer months. She looks amazing and hearing her talk about getting back into shape is great inspiration to get beach-body ready again.

Christy Turlington Just Wants to Feed People

Christy Turlington happily posed for photos with her husband Ed Burns and their children for the August issue of Vogue. She took a break from her rigorous schedule of studying for a master's in public health and working on a documentary about maternal issues to chat with the magazine about her life. Christy opened up about her philanthropic causes and how her priorities have changed since her modeling days. She said:

On her childhood: "I skipped that self-critical place that's dangerous for any teenager. I kind of figured, If Vogue thinks I look OK, I probably look OK. . . Right away I didn't like the identity of being a full-time model. The cliché of it! The clubs. . . My income surpassed my dad's in my first year of modeling - and my dad made a good living. That puts you in a different place in your family, and the power dynamic shifts. I kind of liked the power in a weird way, but I was confused by it."
On Ed: "There was something about Eddie that was completely good and healthy. He's such an optimist, a relaxed person who doesn't get stressed out. When things don't go the way I plan them, I get more abrupt, not the friendly, open me that the rest of the world sees. He's certainly seen all of my selves. . . It's better to be known than loved. I mean known inside, deeply known. When somebody knows you, they know - it's not ephemeral, it's not a state or a stage."
On her future: "Now I'm 40 and getting this degree, I might be on the cusp of the career that I always wanted. . . I can't justify [shopping for trendy expensive clothes] - honestly, I'd rather feed people."

Cameron Wants Us to Know She's Not a Man-Hater

Before Cameron Diaz spent her long weekend frolicking around Hawaii in her bikini, she sat down for an interview with Parade magazine. The actress is promoting My Sister's Keeper and she shared her feelings on everything from her love life to growing older and grieving over her father's death. Here's more:

On men: "Men are wonderful. I don't think my feeling about that is ever going to change. I'm never going to feel differently about men. I'm not a man-hater. It's just not in my nature. I think guys are amazing. I love the dichotomy, the differences in men and women. I think it's wonderful. It keeps things interesting. "
On having kids: "I think that it’s normal for people to ask that, especially of someone my age, because it seems like the obvious thing: ‘Why haven’t you done it?’ It doesn’t bother me. It’s not the cross I bear. I’m not somebody who is going to declare either way if I’m absolutely going to or I’m absolutely not going to have children. I have no idea. I’m still young. I have an unbelievable life. In some ways, I have the life that I have because I don’t have children. I don’t think it’s a compromise to have children,” she adds. “I don’t think it’s a compromise not to. I think it’s just a different choice."
On her past relationships: "I think that what I’ve found, in my experience, is that you always find the person who you’re meant to be with at that time in your life. And what I’ve also found is that you have to move on from those people at certain times, because that’s the way it happens. For me personally, there’s nothing wrong with that. A lot of people find themselves trapped in something that they’ve outgrown and are unhappy. And they don’t know how to get out of it because they think that they’re supposed to make it happen."

On having ugly days: "Oh, sh- yeah. I have them. I don't declare myself as one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. That's other people's label. I don't think that self-deprecation is healthy for people. I think you should have a healthy relationship with yourself. And so we all have our 'up' days and we all have our 'down' days. But I'm not going to walk through this world hating myself because somebody else doesn't think I'm pretty. All I can do is know how I feel about myself."
On getting older: "I don't have a problem with growing older. I really don't. I have no problem with it. It's wonderful. Thank God we get older because if we're not getting older, we're dead. This is a much better option, to be getting older. And if we're not going forward, then we're stagnant, and we're stuck. And I've been stuck before. And I don't like it. It's not fun."
On her father's death: "My father passed away while I was in the middle of filming. I took time off to do what I had to do with my family. And then I had to go back to work. How if affected my performance I can't tell you, but certainly my father's death will be a part of me forever, and I'm sure it's going to be a part of all of the roles that I play now. It's been a year since he died, and it's been an incredibly transformative year. It's just something that's going to be with me forever."

Zac Efron's Ready to Get Shirtless and Duke It Out

Zac Efron is on the cover of May's GQ as he continues to get out there and promote 17 Again before its release this weekend. Fresh off hosting SNL, Zac is continuing in his quest to transition from teen idol to serious actor. He sat down with the magazine to discuss mature topics like meeting Hollywood A-listers, marriage, and what he was like as a kid - all while using some colorful language. Here's more:

On doing theater in high school: "It was the worst possible thing you could do in high school. Kids who are in musical theater tend to be self-confident in a quirky kind of way, and when kids who are really self-conscious see somebody doing that kind of thing, they try to bring them down. I used to do random things, man. When I was a kid? I dyed my hair silver, to look like Sisqó in the 'Thong Song' video. I just didn’t give a f*ck. I didn’t care."
On keeping his reputation clean: "I wasn’t programmed by Disney. It’s common sense. If you’re gonna be drunk with your friends, don’t get wasted at the Chateau Marmont and hook up with some famous chick. It’s not rocket science . . . I don’t want to be famous for my personality. If anything, I keep that under wraps."
On marriage: "That was such bullsh*t. I’m definitely not getting married. In this business, you’re either getting married or they want you to be pregnant. I’m not getting married until I’m 40. If ever. The thought never crossed my mind . . . Maybe not 40. Maybe not until I’m 30."

On meeting Sean Penn: "He was, uh, not in top form. Or maybe he was in top form. He was in rare form. Anyway - he told me to go skydiving. That’s all. Just-'Go skydiving.'"
On his lunch date with Leo: "I thought I was gonna ask him questions. He ended up asking me questions, and in that, he told me a lot. He said, 'There's one way that you can really f*ck this all up. Just do heroin. If you steer clear of that-the other obstacles you’ll be able to navigate.' And that makes sense, dude."
On his parents: "They’re both pessimists. They’ll give it to you real. They don’t blow you up with excess confidence. I didn’t grow up thinking I was the greatest kid in the world. And they completely believed that there was a one-in-a-billion chance I would ever be successful. And that was ingrained in the back of my head: I will fail. I’m going to fail. They managed my expectations. I was always prepared to fail. So it was kind of confusing when things started to work out."
