John, Jason and Judd Are STARS and Studs in the Night

John Mayer proved to be the main attraction at last night's STARS benefit gala in LA. He cracked a few jokes from the podium, before whipping out his guitar to perform some of his new music that you guys are loving. He was rolling solo for the evening, despite the recent rumors about his romancing Rashida Jones that her publicist denied and of course the ongoing Jennifer Aniston reports. Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann were the evening's honorees, and funny guys like Jason Segel and Seth Rogen came out to toast the duo. There doesn't seem to be much news about Jason's apparent romance with Chloe Sevigny, but his How I Met Your Mother costar Josh Radnor is about to see some on-screen developments with special guest star Rachel Bilson.

Cameron and Seth Get Down to Work on The Green Hornet

Cameron Diaz and Seth Rogen spent their Labor Day weekend hard at work on The Green Hornet in LA. They filmed a few serious-looking scenes on Saturday, though they shared a laugh as they reviewed some takes. Cameron even had a little wardrobe change, switching from her business wear into a chic blue dress. Seth and Cameron are just two of the film's leads, and they'll soon be joined by costar Ryan Reynolds. Ryan won the role after a rather public audition procession, and it'll be exciting to see him and his big muscles starring in this adaptation of the classic comic.

Funny People Celebrate the Latest From Judd Apatow

A handful of Hollywood's most hilarious actors and actresses gathered together for the premiere of Funny People in LA last night. Eric Bana and Seth Rogen suited up while Adam Sandler kept to his casual style. Leslie Mann made a splash in her all-pink ensemble, but Rashida Jones looked equally gorgeous in muted tones - what lipstick shade do you like best on her? Director Judd Apatow had three dates for his big night, though his wife and daughters earned their tickets with roles in the film. On July 31, we'll get to check out the film, and it already seems like a home run with such an entertaining cast.

The Winners Get Giddy and Glowing in the Press Room

After taking the stage to accept their awards, the night's big winners - and some of the exciting presenters - walked backstage to pose for photos and talk to the press. Jennifer Aniston and Sarah Jessica Parker skipped the interview aspect of things instead posing pretty in front of the big gold men before running off to the after parties. The big award winners were still glowing from their wins when they stepped in front of the mics to talk about what brought them there. Penelope was first up and she was happy to answer questions in her native Spanish before gushing about Woody Allen.

Heath's family did an incredible job honoring their son who took home the well deserved Best Supporting Actor award. Nothing was stopping Kate Winslet who joked about just how much better winning is than losing. Sean Penn made things a bit more serious talking about the political importance of Milk before continuing to rave about Mickey Rourke. The Oscars Brought Laughter, Tears, and Lots of Singing

Last night, the Oscars provided an exciting finale to another awesome award season. We were treated to a new format that kicked off with Hugh Jackman showing off his singing and dancing skills before having fun and joking with the big names of the night. Later on he was joined by Beyonce, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, and Amanda Seyfried for a fun medley honoring musicals. Jennifer Aniston looked gorgeous onstage and happy sitting next to John, although we were so hoping to see her on the red carpet. Among the big surprises of the night were the presenters - we were treated to sightings of some of our favorites from Reese to Will, with a special shout-out to Ben Stiller for cracking us up with his Joaquin Phoenix impersonation.

There weren't many upsets last night and the winners - click here to see them all - could not have been more gracious to accept their Oscar. Penelope started it off by joking that she might faint, which was later echoed by Kate Winslet who also had an especially sweet moment trying to locate her dad in the huge crowd. Heath Ledger's family accepted his statue on his behalf, as we teared up right along with everyone in the Kodak Theater. Sean Penn won the final showdown between him and Mickey, but he was sure to give his friend a very honorable mention. The big winner of the night was Slumdog Millionaire, with the whole cast onstage accepting the Best Picture trophy - right down to the film's smallest stars.

Celebs Party In Style After the Golden Globes

After the trophies were handed out last night, the fun was just getting started at the Beverly Hilton. In Style and Warner Bros threw a bash that brought out big names from the night and a bunch of other stars that skipped the awards portion of the evening. Never one to miss a party in one of her family's hotels, Paris Hilton got a chance to show off her style, while Elizabeth Banks met up with her former costar Sarah Chalke. Gal pals Heidi Klum, Eva Longoria, and Kate Beckinsale caught up and shared a laugh while Emile Hirsch took the opportunity to show off his mustache to Molly Sims. Blake Lively had her fellow Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen in the house, and Leo looked happy to unwind with a drink after the long ceremony with Alan Horn, the President & COO of Warner Bros.
