The Red Carpet Gets a Dose of Bumps, Black and Purple

We already had one look at all the gorgeous ladies on the Emmys red carpet, but many of the other ensembles were also amazing. Heidi Klum kicked things off in a dress that perfectly showcased her growing baby bump, while Tina Fey picked out a number in similar black. Leighton Meester was quite a contrast in white, looking pretty with her red lips. Ginnifer Goodwin and Mila Kunis, meanwhile, added color to the carpet with their purplish frocks. A Hot Night For Hollywood's Real(ity) TV Stars

Us Weekly celebrated in style last night with their annual Hot Hollywood party in where else but LA. Reality shows Dancing With the Stars and The Hills had plenty of representation out on the purple carpet, and Nicky Hilton and Rumer Willis helped to round out the starlet section of the party. Lauren Conrad stuck with her BFF Lo Bosworth, but we've got to wonder if she cozied up with Brody just a little, now that he's back on the market. To no surprise, one of our favorites of the night was Heidi Klum. She stole the show in her short purple dress and proved she deserved the title of Style Icon of the Year. This super mom can certainly out-hot the youngest in Hollywood's trendy scene.

Sugar Bits - David Copperfield's Warehouse Raided by FBI

The warehouse and theater used by David Copperfield in Las Vegas were raided by the FBI yesterday, where $2 million in cash was found. No reason was given from authorities explaining the nature of the investigation. Guess Copperfield can't make his problems magically disappear. - Las Vegas Now
Update: Fox News reports David is being investigated after being accused of rape.
Amy Winehouse and her husband Blake were arrested yesterday in Norway for possession of marijuana, and were later fined and released. Will she ever get her act together? - BBC

Sugar Bits - Britney May Sue Over Billboards

Britney Spears is threatening to sue a Florida radio station that used bald pictures of her for billboards to promote their morning show and make fun of her mental state. Seems pretty nasty of them to exploit her lowest point and we certainly can't blame her for wanting to forget it either. - The Smoking Gun

Guests of the Sports Illustrated party, including cover girl Beyonce, are being urged to get an immune globulin shot by today after it was confirmed that one of Wolfgang Puck's employees (who catered the event) was diagnosed with hepatitis A. What a nightmare. - YumSugar

Britney Protects Her Assets

Britney celebrated her 25th birthday this weekend with a dinner at Mr. Chow in LA. Poor girl had to ask for a police escort out of the restaurant to protect her from the over 40 paparazzi that were following her every move that night. Britney likes to make sure she is protected and this includes her assets. It turns out that she's even made a threat to her ex-husband (the first one) to watch what he says. He's writing a book about their past relationship that she's not very happy about. Here's more:

Since Brit's split from K-Fed, their exes have come out of the woodwork -- with one claiming that Spears sent him a thinly-veiled threat.

Britney's 55-hour ex-husband Jason Alexander appeared with Fed's baby mama Shar Jackson on "The Dr. Ablow Show," where Alexander revealed that Britney contacted him by leaving a voicemail saying, "Don't say anything you'd regret." We're guessing this is exactly the behavior she was warning against.

Jason is really working hard to keep his name in the headlines. As for Britney, it looks like she had a blast celebrating her birthday. The good news is she seems to have found some underwear, but too bad her dress wasn't long enough to keep us from knowing she was wearing it. K-Fed Might Have a Fan

Out of all the people in the world who are bashing K-Fed, you'd think his ex Shar Jackson would be one of them. He did, after all, leave her for Britney while she was pregnant with their second baby. But Shar says K-Fed is a nice guy.... and then goes on to call him a national joke. Here's more

“He’s such a nice guy. He’s made some mistakes but everybody else doesn’t have the whole world pointing their finger at their mistakes. I don’t know what their situation is or why he wants to get custody of his children other than the fact that he loves them,” Jackson told Inside Edition. “Maybe, it goes deeper than that. Maybe it’s because of all the press about her mothering.”

When IE asked why the public seems to be delighting in the couple’s split, Jackson responded, “I think part of it is because whether you know him or not, he has become almost a national joke.”

Star Magazine Screws Shar Jackson

The editor of Star Magazine can ad another person her the long list of enemies. NY Daily News reports that Shar Jackson is pissed at Bonnie Fuller for a "bait and switch." They asked Shar for an interview about her upcoming album and acting career and even had a three hour photoshoot to include these fabulous done up photos BUT the article they published was far from what they proposed. Not only was it titled, "Kevin Still Loves Me," but it had no mentions of her career and the photos they used were not from the shoot, but from the paparazzi. Shar got punk'd by Star.
