Gaby Gets Desperate While Eva Is Tony's Housewife

Eva Longoria was looking a little unpolished yesterday, but don't worry - it's just a part of Gaby's new look in the upcoming season of Desperate Housewives. Eva smiled and joked around with her on-screen hubby Ricardo Chavira and co-star Shawn Pyfrom while filming the show in LA. While we wait for the ladies of Wisteria Lane to come back in the Fall, in an interview with Latina magazine, Eva admitted that she herself enjoys playing housewife to Tony and more. Here's more:

On her marriage with Tony: "The wedding was absolutely magical. I wish I could have a wedding every year . . . I'm a 1950s housewife. I love baking. I love sewing. Being home with Tony. My mother was like that. Always took care of her husband. I always admired and wanted to do that . . . I make everything. His favorite dish is lemon pepper chicken with a lemon pasta sauce that I make. He could eat that everyday. I'm a big cook."
On her childhood: "We weren't allowed to eat out. My dad refused to let us eat at restaurants or fast food. Our big treat was Domino's pizza. We would sneak out and go get pizza . . . I paid for my cheerleading and everything [by working at Wendy's for six years]. It was like whatever you want to do outside of school, you have to pay for it. I never had a car because I was always trying to save."

On beginning her career: "I love pageants. In Texas, it's like the culture. If you're a woman, you have to do pageants. If you're a boy, you have to be a football player. In my pageant package, I won a trip to Hollywood to compete in a talent competition. And I said, I'm going to go. It would be fun to go for a week to Hollywood. So I came, and I never went home. I fell in love with L.A. I happened to become an actor and it was really all so fast. I didn't even go home to pack. I had my mom send my clothes. I never went back. "

Even if she can often be a bit much, sometimes we can't help but be won over by this former beauty queen's endearing quotes.

ABC All Stars Pose Hands-on-Hips and Party the Night Away

After spending a long day sitting on panels and fielding questions at the TCAs, the ABC and Disney stars got dressed up and hit the red carpet last night. Despite moving filming to NYC, the Ugly Betty beauties like Becki Newton (get her look here) were representing, even with no America Ferrera. Mixing our medical shows, Kate Walsh hung all over Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence celebrating life back on ABC. Nick Lachey didn't have Vanessa on his arm but looked handsome out promoting his High School Musical reality show. Mandy Gets Sexy in the New Year

Mandy Moore hosted a NYE party in Miami at The Raleigh Hotel on Monday night. She was joined by a Carrie-less-Chace Crawford with his new BFF JC Chasez and Dax Shepard (with what looks like no Kristen Bell in site). Mandy has always been one of our favorite starlets for being wholesome, smart and sweet. Hopefully things will remain that way in 2008 but word is she was so sexed up on NYE and all the men took notice. Apparently Mandy turned up the heat in her hot little pink dress so much so that Brody Jenner and BFF Frankie Delgado were staring at the starlet all night and even followed her out at the wee hours of the event. Celebs Celebrate Motorola

Some of Hollywood's cell phone loving celebs came out last night to celebrate the 9th anniversary of Motorola in LA. Kelly Clarkson provided the entertainment as she took the stage in her fab juicy dress and Brittany Murphy squeezed into some serious leather boots. Scott Speedman looked scruffy cute next to clean-cut Justin Long while Audrina Patridge showed off her glowing tan in her LWD. Apparently, the Hills star is back on the market after dumping Justin Bobby for making out with another girl in front of her. We always had a feeling that he wasn't trustworthy, but luckily it looks like she's already got a new man to distract her.

Eva Has Plenty of Besos To Go Around

Even though Tony couldn't be there, Eva Longoria Parker had plenty of love from her friends last night at the launch party for her new restaurant Beso in LA. Some of Wisteria Lane's finest Desperate Housewives came out to celebrate, and Bella wants to know how you feel about Nicollette Sheridan's red lipstick. Eva was looking very smiley in her summery white dress, but she did admit that she wasn't feeling one hundred percent calm, saying,

"Everything is painted, every candle is lit, every glass has arrived. So we’re not like, 'The chairs are not in!' So far there has not been a catastrophic emergency happening. So I am very excited. I'm a little nervous too. But at least I don’t have to cook."

Even if Eva had to handle the kitchen, she's never been shy about discussing her cooking skills. Speaking of which, Yum's got the recipe for Eva's tortilla soup so you can have a little Eva in your kitchen even if you can't make it to Beso just yet.

Handsome SAG Men Played It Safe and Full of Smiles

Ryan Gosling was just about the only guy keeping it interesting with his fashion choice at last night's SAG Awards in LA. Along with his shimmery suit, plaid shirt and lack of tie, he wore a black ribbon on his lapel in honor of Heath Ledger. The rest of the men went pretty traditional, but at least all those handsome faces were there to keep us satisfied. Highlights (other than Gosling) included some not-frequently-seen-enough favorites like Casey Affleck, John Krasinski and Javier Bardem. Josh Brolin took a chance on cleanliness (heh) and planted a wet one on Jeremy Piven's cheek while Footloose stars old and new Kevin Bacon and Zac Efron posed together - cute, huh? Any men red carpet favorites last night? How do you feel about Brad Pitt's highlights with that salt and pepper goatee? Pretty special. Black and White on the Red Carpet at GLAAD

This weekend the GLAAD Awards included a ton of top TV names and some huge A-listers like Jennifer Aniston and Jake Gyllenhaal. Black and white was obviously the theme of the night but the show wasn't hurting for color either. Jennifer Aniston looked unbelievable in her sexy short black dress.
