TCAs Get Private, Dirty, Desperate and a Little Bit Grey

Some of the big names at ABC hit the stage at the TCAs in LA this afternoon. Even though there was no specific Grey's Anatomy panel, the show was still the first thing on everyone's mind when Shonda Rhimes entered the room - check out all of that on Buzz. Sigh, love Peter Krause. As for Desperate Housewives, Eva's haircut is adorable in person, she got it since she was told to get a "mom" cut and didn't want to wear a wig, and we should expect to see her looking glamorous again by mid season. Mark Cherry also jokingly admitted how the 5 year flash forward got out, "I made the mistake of telling one of my actors, and the next thing I read it in the Times, going, 'Damn it, Marcia.'" Grey's Tops EW's Entertainers of the Year

We've loved Grey's from the beginning and it continues to keep us wanting more each week. Of course we aren't the only ones. It's already in its third season and is still a huge hit. No wonder the entire cast topped Entertainment Weekly's Top Entertainers of the Year list. It has had a huge cultural impact, says the magazine. "'Grey's' isn't just a show, it's a phenomenon," said EW's Lori Majewski. "Back in May when last season's final show aired, every place in New York City was empty. You could get a table at the best restaurants." So what makes the show a hit? Executive Producer Shonda Rhimes says it's the surprising story lines. There just doesn't seem to be anything they won't do. Here's more:

That fleeting Meredith-George liaison ''was shocking - even for me, personally,'' says Ellen Pompeo, 37....''I've been kissing Patrick since I met him, but I was like, No, that's my T! I can't make out with him!'' Adds Sandra Oh, 35, who plays tightly wound Dr. Yang, ''When we saw that for the first time at a table read, we were like, Nooooo!'' That's precisely the reaction creator/exec producer Shonda Rhimes, 36, was hoping for. ''When people say they hate what's happening, and then go on to describe in detail everything they hate, I know they're really paying attention and have strong feelings about the characters,'' she says. ''That's a good sign.''

Well, we don't hate a thing (except for reruns!). You guys just keep doing what you're doing and we'll always be back for more!

Ellen Runs Errands While Grey's Finale Shocks Us All

A pregnant Ellen Pompeo went about her regular routine in LA yesterday while last night Meredith Grey's life took some unexpected turns. The double dose season finale of Grey's Anatomy was chock full of intense moments right up to the huge cliffhanger that left two lives in jeopardy. Shonda Rhimes stayed coy addressing a few of the plotlines, but for now we'll have to wait to see what happens next season on the reinvigorated show.

Kate Walsh Gets Married

As expected, Kate Walsh and her fiancé Alex Young got married Saturday night at Ojai Presbyterian Church. The Grey's Anatomy/Private Practice star moved quickly with her man and wasted no time to tie the knot. People reports:

Walsh, 39, wore a custom-made Monique Lhuillier wedding gown as she and Young, 36, exchanged vows at the Ojai Presbyterian Church in the town of Ojai north of Los Angeles. A gospel choir sang "Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts at the beginning of the ceremony.

Among the about 100 guests were Grey's costars Katherine Heigl, Chandra Wilson, Sara Ramirez and Justin Chambers, as well as the show's creator Shonda Rhimes. Also attending were actress Kate Beckinsale and her director husband Len Wiseman.

A lavish reception was scheduled to follow at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa's Casa Elar, a Spanish-style estate where guests enjoyed a sit-down dinner.

ABC Dramas have a lot of Big Shots

Along with all the gorgeous women joining ABC's prime time, there will be plenty of eye candy for the ladies as well. The male version of Sex and the City is called Big Shots and stars Michael Vartan, Dylan McDermott, Christopher Titus and Joshua Malina. In the pilot these four CEOs sit around in a steam room bitching about their lives when Dylan's character finally says, "Men, we're like the new women." Talk about a guilty pleasure! Then there is the most hyped show of the season, the Grey's spin off, Private Practice. While everyone else is focusing on Kate Walsh, we'll lust after Taye Diggs who will get another shot at ABC prime time. For lots of upcoming PP and Grey's secrets, click here.

Peter Krause stars in Dirty Sexy Money where he plays a lawyer who takes over his dead father's job as personal counsel for an uber-rich dysfunctional family. The creator of the show, Craig Wright, said it was inspired by the Dallas or Dynasty models but more updated. Ex-OC and Entourage star, Samaire Armstrong also joins the cast as the blonde bratty socialite that many are already comparing to Paris Hilton. ABC TCA Party Brings Out the All Stars

ABC closed the TCAs with an all star party that included the Cashmere ladies, Big Shot men (more on them soon) and gorgeous newlyweds Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn. The happy couple stayed by each others sides as long as they could before reporters attacked and them and asked them about their various shows on the network. My favorites of the night were Dylan McDermott and Angie Harmon who seemed to be having a fun time together even though her husband, Jason Sehorn was there by her side as well. The Private Practice cast came and once again we are excited about Taye Diggs returning to TV. During their panel, Shonda Rhimes exposed lots of secrets for both PP and the upcoming season of Grey's. Katherine Wanted the Grey's Spinoff

Here it is again. Another interview from a Grey's cast member where they should have just kept quiet. Katherine Heigl told USA Today that she wanted the new Grey's spinoff. Oh cry me a river girl. Here's more:

Q: Kate Walsh's character is being spun off into the fall series Private Practice . It would have seemed natural to spin off your character after she inherited the $8.7 million, which she donated to open a clinic.
A: That's what I was hoping, actually. When (creator) Shonda (Rhimes) told us there was going to be a spinoff and Kate was going, I was like, "I wanna go. I wanna go do a spinoff, do something new." But I really love the idea of the spinoff; it could be really interesting. And Kate's so fabulous.

Katherine may have been caught a little off guard with her mom at LAX but after her movie takes off she may need to get used to all the attention more often. She became very popular after last season on Grey's and while I am over Izzie, apparently her new film, Knocked Up is hilarious so maybe I will have a change of heart for Ms Heigl.

Grey's Feud is Back and Bigger than Ever

What would a week be without a celebrity feud? (Answer: devoid of meaning.) And with Donald and Rosie finally shutting up, there's room for a new publicly carried-out battle. Or, as the case may be, an old one resurfaced--the Grey's Anatomy On-Set Fight.

This afternoon, T.R. went on the Ellen Degeneres show to talk openly for the first time about the whole situation. In the video above he is sweet and humble and obviously uncomfortable with having to talk about everything in public.

The fight, which originally took place back in October, resurfaced at the Golden Globes when Isaiah Washington denied calling T.R. Knight the homophobic name that got him in trouble in the first place (despite his having already publicly apologized for the indecent). Katherine Heigl quickly jumped to her friend T.R.'s defense, as Us Weekly reports:

"I have no idea what it was, I just find it hurtful...I just feel
like this is something that should be very much in house we need to deal with and it's among us and the cast and crew and among Shonda (Rhimes, show creator) and the producers… I don't think he (Washington) means it the way he comes off... But, T.R. is my best friend. I will throw down for that kid. I will beat you up. I will use every ounce of energy I have to take you down if you hurt his feelings."
