Jessica Biel flashed a smile at last night's Charity: Ball in NYC. The star rubbed shoulders with fellow philanthropic celebs like Sophia Bush at the bash, which raised money for charity: water's efforts to bring clean, safe drinking water to those in need around the world. It was Jessica's latest act for the cause, after she helped coordinate a Live Earth run in 2009 and climbed Kilimanjaro in 2010 to bring attention to the global water crisis.

Jessica chose a sheer black dress for the occasion. It was designed by Valentino, the same fashion house who outfitted her for the NYC premiere of New Year's Eve with Sarah Jessica Parker and Zac Efron last week. Jessica handled press rounds in the Big Apple and the UK for the ensemble film, but Zac picked up promotional duties today by heading to Japan for more events.

Sophia Bush took a break from taking in runway shows to take in a movie, and looked unbelievably stylish while doing it. For the NYC premiere of I Don't Know How She Does It, Sophia wore a gold sequined short suit that was quite literally ripped from the runway - her Nonoo Fabrizia jacket and Bonafina shorts were shown as part of designer Misha Nonoo's NYFW presentation just last Friday. Not only do we admire Sophia's dedication to wearing Spring trends right as they emerge; but we have to give her props for wearing the look as is, plus putting her own spin on it by adding a pair of black pumps and a vintage Chanel pendant necklace. Even when worn separately, the pieces pack a glamorous punch, and will easily dress up any pair of jeans or plain white tee. The fun of New York Fashion Week kicked off over the course of the last day, with Rachel Zoe attending designer Mimi Plange's presentation last night at the Asia Society before moving on to the Missoni for Target launch. This morning, BCBGMAXAZRIA brought out a handful of starlets - check out our BCBGMAXAZRIA show review! Jordana Brewster, Elisha Cuthbert, and Sophia Bush made a photogenic trio in the front row. Sophia hung out backstage before the models took to the catwalk, and she evidently liked what she saw - at the sight of one dress, she mouthed to a pal, "Wow!" She was equally full of praise on Twitter, writing, "My favorite collection of theirs for years! Stunning." Vanessa Hudgens was also spotted milling around the tents at Lincoln Center this afternoon, and Rachel was out again to guest judge the Fourth Annual Supima Design Competition with Coco Rocha. Last night's VH1 Do Something Awards, hosted by Jane Lynch, brought tons of stars out to the Hollywood Palladium. There were many familiar faces from last weekend's Teen Choice Awards, including David Beckham, who was once again accompanied by his oldest son Brooklyn. (If you love David, don't forget to vote for him in our 2011 shirtless bracket!) Beckham buddy Justin Bieber was on hand, though his lady friend, Selena Gomez, wasn't able to turn out since she was off performing in Chicago. Kim Kardashian walked the blue carpet without her soon-to-be husband Kris Humphries, but she had pal Demi Lovato by her side. However, Kim and Kris met up for a late dinner afterward. Kristen Bell, in Etro, and Dax Shepard showed off their love for the cameras. She was on hand to present an award during a break from doing press for her upcoming show House of Lies.
