Rihanna and Jay-Z Rock Their Wear Around NYC

Rihanna stepped out to do some solo shopping at Barneys yesterday, but on Monday night she was in plaid to check out a party hosted by Jay-Z at his Rocawear space in NYC. It's been a busy few days in the city for Jay-Z, after he recently gave Oprah a tour of his old Brooklyn neighborhood. While Beyonce was busy with her work obligations in Japan, Rihanna looked happy to come out and support his line. Rihanna and Jay-Z are set to team up again soon when they join Kanye to perform "Run This Town" on the first episode of Leno's new show.

Spotted: Ed and Jessica XOXO-ing Courtside

For Jessica Szohr and Ed Westwick, the action at the Knicks-Lakers game was in the audience as they publicly kissed in NYC last night. Ed had a steamy plotline on Gossip Girl, but in real life things aren't so mysterious anymore. We heard rumors about these two back in December and saw them out with Chace last Thursday, but these photos of them cuddling up, laughing, and drinking beer confirm it. Meanwhile, America Ferrera sat sandwiched between her boyfriend Ryan and Jay-Z, and left with her pregnant costar Ana Ortiz. Jay-Z didn't have his own courtside partner with him this time, but he looked like he was having a blast with America despite the Lakers beating the Knicks.

The Knicks-Lakers Rivalry Heats Up as Stars Take Sides

If you want a good star sighting, Staples center is the place to be, and last night's Knicks-Lakers game was packed with celebrity sports fans. The nail-biter of a game made for lots of animated faces but ultimately smiles when the Lakers prevailed. David Beckham sat next to David Arquette, while Leonardo DiCaprio looked a little worried as he stayed fixated on the court. Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale cracked occasional smiles from the front row. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were the most energetic as they rooted their team on and cuddled up on their sporty date night.

Celebs Come Out For Extra Exciting NBA Finals Game 4

Game four of the Celtics-Lakers NBA Finals was in LA last night, bringing out another star studded courtside audience to watch what turned out to be an amazing game. Of course the celebrity fans were out to cheer for the Lakers and for the first half it looked like it was going to be a shut out. David Beckham and Justin Timberlake made quite the manjoyable pair watching Becks' good buddy Kobe on the court. Will and Jada watched the game, but also found some time for loving. Tobey, another die hard Lakers fan, couldn't stay in his seat watching his boys blow their lead, which at its biggest was 24 points. (Sorry, go Celtics!) Game five is coming up on Sunday and you can bet that most of these familiar faces will be front and center for all the action.

Emmy Thinks Kathy, Justin & Andy Are So Creative!

The big show is next weekend, but yesterday the Shrine Auditorium was all about the Creative Emmys. The lesser known Emmy event brought out some personal favorites (and next week's nominees) - from NPH to America. Kathy Griffin walked away with her first Emmy for My Life on the D-List (which is my guilty pleasure). Check out the full list of winners here. As expected, Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg walked away winning for D*ck In A Box. During his acceptance speech Andy obviously took the chance to make a few jokes. He said:

"I think it's safe to say that when we first set out to make this song, we were all thinking 'Emmy!...The other thing we were thinking was, 'Hey! Here's this young up and comer, Justin Timberlake, who is clearly very talented and could clearly use a break. So, Justin, if you're out there, congrats to you, kid.'"

I'm sure Justin is happy to have another award to add to his collection - Oscar next? We'll have to wait and see. In case you haven't filled out your Emmy ballot yet, there's still one week to go - free TV for a year!

Brad Takes Maddox Out To The Ballgame

Fresh off their trip to Deauville, Brad and Mad spent some father/son quality time cheering on the Yankees yesterday with Spike Lee and his little one. Brad stayed with his usual newsboy cap but sprung for a Yankees cap for Maddox, who is looking too cute with his missing front teeth. It looks like Brad even managed to pull some strings to score a bat and ball for Maddox from Derek Jeter himself. Sounds like the perfect outing.

Spike Lee to Direct Film on James Brown

James Brown may have passed away this week but his friends and fans are making sure that his memory lives on. Spike Lee has just signed on with Paramount Pictures to direct a film about the Godfather of Soul. The project is being developed by super producer Brian Grazer (A Beautiful Mind) and will most likely begin shooting in 2008. Brown evidently was working on the project before he died and granted Paramount access to his music rights. James has had a full and fascinating life. We can't wait to see it on the big screen. GQ Men of the Year Arrivals - Let's Focus On Just the Men For Now

Will Ferrell, Leo and Jay-Z landed 3 different covers for GQ's 11th annual Men of the Year issue, but all the guys looked truly deserving of cover boy status at the event last night. The Men of the Year awards was held at the Sunset Tower Hotel in LA and the honored guests clearly took the time to look their best. Even Jackass Johnny got in on the dress up action, but we do wish he would have worn a cleaner pair of shoes. He can clean up so well when he tries.

Taylor, Johnny, Megan & Vampires Make Scream Awards Sexy

The Spike Scream Awards took over the Greek Theater in LA on Saturday night, bringing together the biggest names in Horror, Fantasy, Comics and Science Fiction. Vampires were of course some of the biggest winners of the night and the stars of The Vampire Diaries and True Blood were all in attendance. Kate Bosworth presented a statue to Alexander Skarsgard, amid rumors that there's something going on between them. Taylor Lautner was the only Twilight representative and debuted the "Behind the Scenes" New Moon footage, which wasn't much though more may come when the show actually airs. There were rumors that Kristen Stewart would make a cameo since she was back in LA, but fans were still satisfied to see sexy Taylor representing and all the shirtless Wolf Pack in the footage from the upcoming film. Johnny Depp accepted a spike for the incomplete Alice in Wonderland as well as presented an award of immortality to Keith Richards. Megan Fox expressed her gratitude to the Transformers franchise while Stephen Moyer had one of the sweetest moments of the night when he thanked the True Blood producers for being "surprising matchmakers."

On the red carpet, one of the night's winners Isabel Lucas chatted about spending last Halloween with Shia LaBeouf, though she admitted that the holiday isn't huge in her native Australia. She looked great in her Chanel dress and Jimmy Choo shoes even without getting a drop of sleep the night before. Eliza Dushku was sexy posing for the cameras and presenting with Dave Navarro - garnering cheers from her fans the whole time. Justin Long was out to support one of the night's big winners Drag Me to Hell and was friendly as he made his way into the awards. The director will be producing a documentary about the aftermath of Katrina for HBO. It will be called, "When the Levee Broke."
