Halle & Bruce Are Not Strangers On The Red Carpet

Halle showed off her insane body at the NY premiere of Perfect Stranger. Julia Stiles, Christy Turlington and husband Ed Burns also came out to show their support. Bruce Willis was right by Halle's side (when Gabriel wasn't). Even though he plays the villain in the movie, Halle has nothing but love for her co-star. She said: "He just exudes coolness. Talk about charm and charisma. He's an everyday good guy and that's his persona." Looks like they were real comfortable with each other. Hopefully Gabriel was OK with that.

Halle Is Not Happy

Halle looked h-o-t outside Letterman's studio yesterday while on her promotional tour for her new movie Perfect Stranger. You guys didn't think she was revealing too much personal info, but Halle didn't like the way she was portrayed in the recent PARADE magazine interview, claiming that she was provoked to dredge up painful memories. Now PARADE is fighting back. Here's more:

"All of the quotes in the April 1 PARADE profile on Halle Berry came from a candid sit-down interview between Ms. Berry and PARADE writer Emily Listfield on January 25, 2007. Ms. Berry talked very freely (on tape) about the challenges she has faced in her life, including her failed marriages and suicide attempt. It is unfortunate that Ms. Berry has chosen to respond to media interest by backing away from what she originally told PARADE. Anyone who actually read the article is sure to see it as a very positive profile of a strong woman who has overcome many challenges in her life and is now on a clear path to happiness."

Maybe if she really didn't want to talk about her past, she could've just politely declined. Luckily, the movie comes out on Friday so Halle can take a break from promoting and lay low with Gabriel for awhile. Click here to check out a preview of Halle's Perfect Stranger.

Hilary and Lindsay Make Nice

Hilary Duff continues to express her new grown up image in her video for Stranger where she does some sexy belly-dancing! The more mature starlet is also making up with her teen rival, Lindsay Lohan. She said she ended her feud with LL. “Lindsay and I were out at the same place," Duff says, "and we were like, ‘Let’s get this out of the way.’ And she was really nice, and I was really nice... [I]t’s nice to be able to see Lindsay out and say hi, and not have this weird weirdness.” It's great to hear that both girls were on "nice" behavior, but it looks like she'll have to wait a while to reconnect more with Lindsay now that LL is in Promises for the time being.

Halle Lets it All Hang Out

Halle's hair and dress may be longer at this photocall in Madrid than it was at the premiere of Perfect Stranger but she clearly has nothing to hide. In fact, now that she's out promoting a new movie she is opening up about her personal life including this candid interview in Sunday's PARADE. She talks all about her two failed marriages, a suicide attempt, and how she's opening up a new chapter in her life. Here are highlights:

After her stormy marriage to baseball star David Justice, Berry was so depressed, she attempted suicide. “I was sitting in my car, and I knew the gas was coming, when I had an image of my mother finding me,” she says. “She sacrificed so much for her children, and to end my life would be an incredibly selfish thing to do. It was all about a relationship. My sense of worth was so low. I had to reprogram myself to see the good in me. Because someone didn’t love me didn’t mean I was unlovable. I promised myself I would never be a coward again.”
Berry calls her second marriage, to singer Eric Benét, “really horrific.” She reveals, “We were in sex rehab after one year. I wish I had left then, but I was putting everyone’s needs before mine.” Berry says she knew even then that she had a right to set boundaries with Benét and that it wasn’t her fault. “If I hadn’t gone through the first breakup and made that promise to myself, this would have leveled me. I would have walked into moving traffic.”

Halle says that she was able to get over her depression and negative behavior with the help of therapy. She now has things under control and is looking forward to motherhood. Though we all know she's got no interest in a third marriage, mixing genes with her gorgeous boyfriend Gabriel Aubrey could produce some beautiful results.
