Charlize Theron stepped out for the LA premiere of The Road last night with Stuart Townsend and mom Gerda by her side. Her hair and wardrobe were light, but Charlize spiced things up with a deep red pout. Those lips sadly won't be getting anywhere near Johnny Depp in the near future - he's in talks to sign on to The Tourist, which Charlize dropped out of last month only to have Angelina Jolie pick up the role.

David, Charlize and Lindsay Help Kick off the Lakers Season

The first Lakers game of the season brought out a particularly star-studded crowd in LA last night. Perennial fans like Jack Nicholson sat alongside some other famous faces, including David Beckham and Sacha Baron Cohen. New members of the team's family, Khloe and Kim Kardashian, were right up front to cheer on Lamar Odom while people wonder how the relationship will affect his play. Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend also kept an eye on things, but they also snuck in some PDAs. Even Lindsay Lohan came to watch the Lakers defeat the Clippers, though she soon might be India-bound to film a special for the BBC.

Fashion Weekend Bursts With Starlets, Famous Fashion Faces!

New York Fashion Week didn't slow down over the weekend, and the front rows were star-studded gearing up for last night's big event, the VMAs. Lindsay Lohan ducked into Alice + Olivia and Shenae Grimes, a sparkly Blake Lively, and Rachel Zoe all scored spots at the Diane von Furstenberg show on Sunday. Mischa stepped out for the Herve Leger show as well as to attend an event for The Beautiful Life. Rachel McAdams sat alongside Anna Wintour at Alexander Wang and posed with Leighton Meester backstage at Altuzarra. With so many big events taking place in New York, the fashionista stars were all over.

Hilary Duff and Amanda Bynes were front and center for the Herve Leger show, which is no big surprise considering how often they, especially Amanda, are seen wearing the ubiquitous bandage dresses. Kirsten Dunst mixed things up at Band of Outsiders, while Hayden Christensen was out without his fiance Rachel Bilson at Lacoste. Charlize and Stuart have returned to California after heading to Venice for Salma Hayek's wedding and quickly stopping in NYC, but Charlize found time in her busy schedule to pen a letter rallying for gay rights in California. While Charlize and Sean may have discussed their mutual interest in that political issue, we're also curious about the latest rumors regarding newly single Sean's love life - he's apparently pretty serious about Natalie Portman, who he was spotted getting cozy with just a few months ago.

Salma and Francois Celebrate Their Second Wedding in Style

Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault happily walked down the aisle again on Saturday at Venice's opera house Teatro La Fenice. Salma looked gorgeous in a white Balenciaga wedding gown by Nicholas Ghesquiere. Valentina was a flower girl wearing a Bonpoint dress with Francois's children from his first marriage also participating in the black tie affair. They may have gotten married at a small ceremony on Valentine's Day but their glamorous second round of nuptials included about 150 of their close family and friends.

They kicked off the weekend with a masked rehearsal dinner on Friday and some of their celebrity guests wore their black and gold masks as they arrived to the wedding by boat on Saturday. Penelope Cruz wore a floor-length blue gown for the ceremony and changed into a black dress for the reception, with Javier Bardem as her date. Stuart Townsend and Charlize Theron also joined in on the festivities with Charlize transforming her dress from long to short halfway through. Lots more familiar faces were in the audience including Ed Norton, Bono, Ashley Judd and Anna Wintour. On Sunday the newlyweds had a farewell brunch after a romantic weekend of celebrating their life as husband and wife.

Celebrity attendees include Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend, as well as Ed Norton, Woody Harrelson, Antonio Banderas, Melanie Griffith, Penelope Cruz, Ashley Judd, and more. Salma and Francois-Henri's daughter Valentina got to join in the festivities, carried into the awaiting gondolas in the arms of her smiling father. What an amazing way to welcome guests to their wedding - hopefully the bride and groom can focus on the party because the official ceremony part was all the way back on Valentine's Day.

Charlize Steps Out and Takes Off With Stuart

Charlize Theron managed to look glamorous while picking up dry cleaning out in LA yesterday. After running her errands, she headed home and later emerged with Stuart and their luggage. We haven't seen much of Charlize since her publicity tour for The Burning Plain ended last month, but in addition to her forthcoming The Road, she might be on the big screen soon next to Tom Cruise if he decides to sign on to The Tourist.

Many an A-lister made the trek to Dubai today to celebrate the grand opening of the Atlantis Palm Resort. Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson traveled from London to join Sam's mother Ann Dexter-Jones, while Mischa Barton will show up anywhere there's a red carpet. The eclectic crew, which included Mary-Kate Olsen all draped in white, Gerard Butler, Charlize Theron, and Stuart Townsend, was treated to dinner and an elaborate performance from Kylie Minogue. Only a truly lavish affair would attract so many stars to such a distant place, and it seems like opulent Dubai isn't feeling too pinched by the global credit crisis.

Charlize's Battle is Full of Margaritas and Pet Names

Stuart Townsend and Charlize Theron posed together yesterday at a special screening of their film Battle in Seattle in Beverly Hills. The couple have been having a blast promoting the movie together, joking about what Charlize had to do to get the role and how embarrassing it was when she called Stuart his pet name on set. Whether she's downing margaritas and singing on The Tonight Show or asking why The Hills is so popular, Charlize's giddy energy is really showing through. She recently revealed how she makes her relationship with Stuart work in an interview. Charlize said:

"The secret is that it’s all about the person you’re with. It doesn’t matter what you do. I don’t believe that an artist can’t go out with a banker. I think it’s about the personal connection. When you’re with somebody good who’s looking out for your best interests and loves you in every possible way, then how could there be a jealousy? Nothing makes me happier in my day to know that he got a good review or that this movie is getting some really great buzz. Those things actually turn me on. I’m sorry."

No need for apologies from Charlize who always looks happy to support Stuart, especially on this project so close to both of their hearts.

Charlize Struts Her Best Dressed Stuff

Charlize Theron took advantage of the warm weather in New York with a little plaid dress she wore on The View yesterday before joining her man Stuart and costars for a screening of Battle in Seattle.
