Casey Soaks Up Family Time Before Heading Back to Work
Casey Affleck and his son Indiana got dressed up in ties on Saturday while running errands including a stop at Rite Aid with Summer Phoenix and baby Atticus. Casey is known for taking long breaks between projects, but he's just signed on for a new film called The Killer Inside Me alongside Jessica Alba. He's proved his acting skills with his latest roles, and we'll look forward to seeing if Casey can churn out another Oscar-worthy performance.

Summer Phoenix opened up her second Some Odd Rubies store in LA yesterday, with a little help from her beautiful girlfriends. Sister-in-law Jennifer Garner came out to show the love and provide a few hugs, as did a smiley Liv Tyler. Elizabeth Banks took a time out from being an underrated actress to check out the vintage wares.

Casey Affleck and his wife Summer Phoenix brought their two sons out for a family lunch in LA Thursday. Summer carried the baby, Atticus, while Indiana stuck by Casey's side looking every bit the mini me. The whole crew is quite the precious foursome, and while Indiana has his cousin Violet old enough to play with, baby Atticus will soon get another Affleck cousin who will grow up right behind him.

Sugar Bits — Brad Renfro Passes Away at 25
- Brad Renfro, the former child actor who became famous through his roles in films such as The Client, The Cure, and Tom and Huck, and who just finished shooting The Informers with Winona Ryder, was found dead at his house in LA yesterday morning. He was only 25-years-old. The cause of death isn't known and an autopsy is scheduled for Thursday, though he suffered from a long history of drug abuse and was known to be drinking the night before.

Gwyneth Paltrow stayed out of last night's inclement Manhattan weather thanks to her trusty umbrella holder. She was showing off her stems in her pre-London hometown where she is currently shooting Two Lovers with Joaquin Phoenix. Lucky little Londonites Apple and Moses got to spend part of their Summer at Gwyn's childhood home in LA, Fall in Spain while she shot her PBS show, and hopefully now they'll make some great memories of the holidays in NYC.
