Shirtless Patrick Dempsey Cools Down Following a Shocking Grey's Finale

Shirtless Patrick Dempsey relaxed under the sun in St. Barts yesterday. The Grey's Anatomy star was hanging with wife Jillian and their kids, Tallulah, Darby, and Sullivan, while the season eight finale of Grey's aired last night in the States. Patrick's alter ego, Dr. Shepherd, also known as McDreamy, was left injured following a plane crash that took the life of at least one Seattle Grace resident - find out which doctors won't be returning next season on Grey's. After months of speculation, ABC confirmed Patrick will be back for two more seasons, as will costars Ellen Pompeo, Sandra Oh, and Justin Chambers, but fans will have to wait until the Fall to find out who will be joining them in the ER.

Patrick Dempsey strolled along the white sandy beaches of Hawaii yesterday with his daughter Tallulah right by his side. The Grey's Anatomy star is enjoying a tropical getaway with his wife and kids after wrapping filming another season of the medical drama. Shirtless Patrick Dempsey and his family aren't the only ones enjoying island living this week as Owen Wilson and his girlfriend arrived with their infant son, Robert Ford, over the weekend. On Grey's Patrick's Dr. McDreamy spends most of his time in the OR, but this Summer Patrick will be showing off that smile promoting Transformers: Dark of the Moon. The blockbuster is out on July 1, and Patrick hopefully will join his fellow handsome costars Shia LaBeouf, Tyrese Gibson, and Josh Duhamel for all the many red carpets around the world.

Patrick Heads to Disneyland Before His Breakout Role

Patrick Dempsey left his scrubs at home on Saturday and headed to Disneyland to celebrate daughter Tallulah's eighth birthday along with his wife Jillian and their twin boys Sullivan and Darby. The Grey's Anatomy doctor has been juggling his small and big screen duties including the recent hit Valentine's Day, but up next he'll be hopping on his beloved bike for a good cause. Patrick's continuing his work supporting cancer research by participating in this year's Breakaway Ride. We frequently see Patrick zipping around town in one of his many fancy cars, but this time he'll be showing off his impressive skills on two wheels.

Patrick Teaches Tallulah How to Scrub In

Patrick Dempsey spent some time with Tallulah in LA this weekend shopping and washing the Porsche together. While we love seeing Patrick exercising in spandex or playing doctor on Grey's Anatomy his role as father is his most important. Patrick is just a regular dad and scrubbing one of his many cars together makes for awesome splashy memories - maybe next time those adorable twins can get in on the fun too.

Dempsey's on Daddy-Duty

This weekend, race car driving McDreamy played his best role yet - a doting daddy. Patrick Dempsey watched as his daughter Tallulah went horseback riding in Brentwood. Looks like she could teach another celebrity baby a thing or two about riding as opposed to just observing. Tallulah turns 6 this week and who knows, maybe she'll get her very own pony as a present. Patrick spoke to ET recently about finally being able to focus on his family during the writers' strike. He said,

"We had some date nights; it was nice. I spent time with the kids and really needed that; I really needed some time to stay at home and not be on the road so much working long hours. It was fun to get some racing in as well. It's been good for me, and I'm glad we're going back to work."

Patrick also spoke about being excited to get back to Grey's because like us, he doesn't know what's going to happen with his relationship with Meredith. To see more pics and more of the interview with Patrick

Over the weekend, Sugardaddy Patrick Dempsey horsed around the stables in Brentwood with daughter, Tallulah.

The leading man settled for a supporting role as his lil darling decked out in riding gear took to the ring. The casually dressed dad watched his almost six-year-old equestrian (Tallulah's birthday is tomorrow) circle the ring on a white horse. And, there was just enough time for a parking lot hug.

Patrick Settles for Second Sexiest

Patrick Dempsey and cute Tallulah were all packed up as they left their house in LA on Sunday and headed to NYC to promote Enchanted all over. He must be excited that his new movie is kid friendly, because his little ones are a bit too young to watch daddy on Grey's Anatomy. At Saturday's Enchanted premiere, Patrick weighed in on the movie but also joked about losing the title of People's Sexiest Man Alive to Matt Damon. He said, "Always a bridesmaid, never a bride." Considering Patrick is known as McDreamy, he's got no reason to be jealous. Plus, we all know how hot he looks in a bridesmaid dress.
