Thandie and Biel Support Darfur Now

Thandie Newton and Jessica Biel were all about sheer at last night's LA screening of Darfur Now. Thandie looks gorgeous in her dress but Biel's see through top and blazer don't do her justice. The film involved celebrities like Don Cheadle and George Clooney and raises awareness about the situation in Darfur. While the men didn't make it to the screening, Thandie talked about the importance of using fame for good. She said, "I think there needs to be much more of a sense of responsibility when we use the power of entertainment to affect people's lives. I think we're in a really fortunate position that there are many film makers and very popular actors that want to make a difference." Of all the celebrity trends these days, raising awareness and philanthropy have to be some of our favorites.

The Stars Get Down With Their Superbad Selves

Last night a smattering of celebs came out to celebrate at the LA premiere of Superbad - from SNLers to possibly Lost-headed Kristen Bell to Rumer to Hanson - that's right, Hanson. However, the stars of the night were the trio of adorable geeks who star in the movie - Michael Cera, Jonah Hill and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. The boys play three social outcasts who embark on a quest to score every High School boy's fantasy: alcohol and girls. The movie is already getting great reviews so check back later this week for Buzz's take and exclusive interview with adorable Michael Cera.

TV Stars Party Across Network Lines

Entertainment Weekly threw some of their favorite subjects, the TV stars, a little upfront party of their own in NYC last night. Some of the lovely ladies of ABC even made it over after their big event. The dresses were smashing, especially a mature looking Hayden and newly engaged Kate Walsh. Meanwhile, Eva Longoria may have worn a dress made out of tinfoil. Papa Joe Simpson was at the party too! I wonder if he creeped anyone out? Mmmm, probably. Speaking of Grey's rumor has it that one of the cast members (other than Addison) won't be around next season -- who do you think it's going to be?

A Little Bit Country a Lot Glam on the CMA Red Carpet

It was jeans for some (Kid Rock, of course) and gowns for others at last night's 41st Annual Country Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee. Nicole Kidman definitely brought the most bang to the red carpet in her bold dress - sure it looks a little like one of those cheesy college dorm felt-y posters, but it's not like she can't pull it off. Carrie Underwood looked typically great while fellow former Idol-er Kellie Picker looked surprisingly demure for her. I must admit that Kate Walsh looked pretty smokin', finding a way to be on our ABC Wednesday night even when Private Practice was preempted for these awards.
